Tyler (Twigstrike)-

Tyler rolled his eyes at Waverly as grandma answered her question, "As soon as I get James out the door."

Whitney smirked at Tyler before turning back to Maddie. “He’s cute. I caught him staring back at her several times during the service. I doubt he heard much of it he was so focused on staring.”

Waverly shrugged and leaned back in her seat. “Okay. I won’t push. You can talk about it whenever you’re ready.” She looked back at Tyler’s grandma. “When do you usually leave?”

Tyler (Twigstrike)-

Tyler blushed, "Uh... I heard all of it." he protested

Maddie:

She motioned with her hand for Whitney to come closer and she cupped her hand around Whitney's ear and whispered, "Tyler." she whispered quietly, then she stepped back and quickly smirked.

(Never!)

Waverly breathed in, and out after the service on faith had ended and people started leaving. “Thank you for taking me here, Mrs. Scott. I appreciate it.” She smirked at Tyler and whispered in his ear like a snoopy big sister, ”So, which parts of the sermon did you hear between staring at Brianna and daydreaming about the next time you’ll talk to her?”

As soon as the service ended, Whitney stood, left her mom to talk with her own friends, and casually made her way over to Maddie. “So, who’s the guy Brianna can’t take her eyes off?”

Gabby she lifted her pointer finger to her lips and pressed her finger against er lips and gently shook her head, signaling the two girls to be quiet. Then, she looked at Brianna and mouthed to her, "After." then, she looked back forward and continued singing.

(Awww, really? Sorry about your grandpa. I guess it’s a very popular hymn. I can see why.)

(We had a that song at my Grandpa's funeral last year)

(Little side note: They sang How Great Thou Art at my Grandma’s funeral when I was 9, and it gave me hope that the loss I was feeling would go away and I’d be happy again soon.)

Waverly sat down beside Tyler, noting with a small smile that he and Brianna kept glancing at each-other and never caught the other doing it. She nudged Tyler and gave him a knowing look, and whispered to him about paying attention and not staring at girls, with a small grin on her lips. Then she focused her attention on singing ‘How Great Thou Art’.
