Ivyspring:
She sighed harshly, but nickered gently, amused, “If that’s what your worried about, then we’ll take care of it. Like I said, bringing harm to you is pointless.”
Brokenfire:
Brokenfire inspected her gaze, and then conlcluded she could see through it. ”You aren’t very deceptive, for I now know you can see through the fold. You would not have been able to point the trees out. Looks like a few more layers are need,” he snorted.
Grabbing 3 more leaves, he wrapped them around her head. ”Now, how well can you see?”
Caita, "I could only see threw it with light." she stated to him, she stepped into the small patch that she knew was there and looked around, "Only barely, not enough to point out anything small, but the bigger the tree the more a shadow is there. So I can see slightly but not enough to make out details." she stated to him in a calm nicker as she kept looking around but she could barely even see anything even in the light.
Caita, "Here this explains it better. Everything is dark, but there is a few spots with shimmers of light that I can, but their small and I can only see the bigger thing not the small details." she stated explaining what she saw threw the blindfold as best she could.
(I wasn’t sure which comment you wanted in the post, Echolake, so I just put both. It’s that alright? Cuz I can totally change it! )
Summary:
Basically, Brokenfire’s group (What should we call them???) has traded Frayan for Caita, and they have now removed Caita’s flight feathers and blindfolded her. Kifo was resurrected by Windborn (YAYAYAY!!!! :D) and.. uh... I think that’s it...?
I was wondering... Do you guys think it would be a good idea to start a roleplay I’ve been meaning to start? I just wasn’t sure, considering Challenge RP is still new....

Mossroot:
She flapped her wings harder, willing her old wings to keep carrying her. She quickly saw the sea of trees spread out before her and she landed on the outskirts. The medicine mare cantered forward deeper into the Trap, following the deer trails so she wouldn’t get lost. Soon, she found a massive oak tree adorned with Trap moss and Mossroot grabbed as many strands of moss into her teeth as she could, then turned and bolted away to return it to her herd.
Thea:
“Don’t you think you’ll need help? Certainly Stormfire will guard Caita well-shouldn’t you bring back up?” She offered kindly, bowing her head to show no disrespect.
Windborn:
"I'm going with you!" He said to Marlcloud. "And if you don't take me I will follow after you."
Estrel:
"Vividsky I might need your help with that one." He said pointing to Windborn.
Kifo:
As time passed Vida seemed to slip deeper into hibernation
Marlcloud:
Marlcloud glared at them all. ”You all are so confient in yourselves, and that is not a good thing,” she muttered. Then, louder, she announced, ”The plan is for you all to learn how to fight, yes? Then you all will stay here and learn to fight, while I shall go and rescue my daughter.”
Marlcloud glared deeply at them, daring any of them to object and face the consequences.
Iden:
She stepped down and rattled her winds with excitement. Her eyes wandered back to her wings realizing how she looked like a skinny, inexperienced warrior, but a warrior none the less. Her muscles were tensed and her hooves pointed. Her neck was arched in a powerful energetic way, known only to those looking for war. She sighed, "Of course, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Always avoid battle when possible, look for the good in everyone. But I have a feeling this battle isn't avoidable."
She nodded at Jigun to continue talking, and turned to look at Marlcloud, waiting for her input. The strong mare had only ever wanted what was best for the foals, and her wise words were always worth at least hearing.
Jigun:
He glanced at Iden and watched carefully. He blinked, mildly surprised by her words and how she demanded the attention from others, holding their gaze in her unique eyes. He smiled and nodded, “Yes, Iden is right. No more hiding. No more heartfelt speeches. Now is the time for action. We’re a herd, so let’s start acting together. Pegasi are built for war and Star foals are no exception.” He added then opened his blood red wings and arched his muscular neck.
Iden:
She stepped in. "This is no time to argue. We are all unique, from our powers and coat colors, our personalities and experiences, to our love and trust for one another. But these enemies we face, they only see us for our power. But we have more power than just our starfire. We have the power of trust, and love. And family. Yes my dad may be the one trying to kill us so if I hadn't existed yes this may not have happened but thats behind us. Our pasts have been and gone. We can't let it get in front of us when it belongs behind us. Enough of the inspirational speeches, lets get to the matter at hand. Im tired of running, its time we faced our enemies. If we are going to do that we are going to have to rely on more than just our powers. We need to learn how to fight if our herd of foals are going to have a chance against purebred pegasi, creatures made for war and battle."
Windborn:
He was shedding feathers like crazy from the stress. "I don't know!" He said.
Estrel:
"Vividgray will you please come here and hel me calm down Windborn" He asked gently
Thea:
She glared at her hooves, “I know. But, we aren’t like everyone else. We don’t get to be defined in the same way. Our powers define us. We define each other, as the Stars are connected.“ She said quietly, then changed the subject, not wishing to talk about it any longer.
“So, what’s the plan for saving Cait?.”
Estrel:
He nodded. "Yes but I don't want to be defined only by my powers. I want to be defined by who I am not who my powers make me." He said
Thea:
She glanced to Estrel, her gaze slightly annoyed but mostly accepting. She flicked her tail and ruffled her feathers, “Yes, but the whole reason why this herd exists is because we have powers. If the Starfire had disappeared when Star died, then Shadow herd wouldn’t even be a thing.“
She proclaimed, then flared her wings and lifted her chin. “Whether you like it or not, our powers define us. I’m Thea, the Healer-nothing else. We can’t run away from who we are-we’re Star foals and we should embrace it instead of trying to change it.”
Hugur nodded, "True. But we need to learn how to live as similar to how our enemies do. If you want to understand all concepts of a battle, then you must first understand the lives of your enemies, otherwise you may lose. One flaw like that could cause life or death, so I suggest that learning how to fight with our hooves and wings would be a wise decision, but then adding our own twist with our powers will make us even harder to beat." he stated looking from Estrel to Marlcloud with a strange calm gaze.
(Alright.)
(Ok trying to get the page to load for me)
Estrel:
"That's not true!" He said. "Our powers are not the only thing that makes us unique! This herd makes us unique! The things we have lived through make us unique. Our powers add but they are not all of what makes us, us." he said
Hugur had stood listening for long enough, "Plus even Star himself had to learn how to fight to defend what was his. We shouldn't be held back by our true nature, but we also shouldn't dive to deep and kill without stop." he chimed in stepping up and standing beside Whitesky, who looked over at him and studied him calmly. But Hugur tried his best to ignore it and look at Marlcloud with a calm smile.
Whitesky nodded his agreement, studying Hugur for a few minutes then he looked back at Marlcloud but didn't say anything.
Thea:
She stopped dead in her tracks, then turned around to face the mare and filly, her eyes determined and ears pricked.
“Then I’ll just heal them. Iden, your right, we should rely not only on our powers but on our physical strength. But, we were given powers for a reason, so why don’t we use them to the very extent. We’re Star foals- powers are the only thing that makes unique and we should utilize our uniqueness.”
Mossroot:
She nodded before opening her wings as far as they can go and taking off into the sky, heading quickly towards the Trap.
Marlcloud:
”Tell me then, Iden, what happens when you make a mistake? What happens, when you kill? What will you do?” She asked simply, nodding to Mossroot her approval with a worried glance at Vida.
( I’ll get a new part )
Iden:
“Marlcloud. We never said kill. There is a difference between defending our lives and killing others. And I agree, we need to rely less on our Starfire. We need to find a balance between our powers and our physical strength. I believe if we find a way to use our starfire as an advantag, and work that into our fighting skills, we could easily defend ourselves WITHOUT seriously wounding our opponent. We need to move on, some of is are nearly two year olds.
Kifo:
"Vida!" He whispered
Mossroot:
She smiled gently to Kifo, "She's not dead, Kifo, simply tired and weak. She most likely fainted." The elderly mare looked to Marlcloud. "With your permission, I will go and find her moss from the Trap then come straight back to the Interior." She nickered and extended her wings towards the sky.
Kifo:
He saw Vida and snapped to Frayan, "Watch Jeray!" he ran toward Vida and as he got there her bubble deflated. Seemed to withdraw into her and she went still. To Kifo she seemed dead. He didn't even see her sides move to indicate her breathing. "What happened?!" He asked franticly as he nossedher
Mossroot:
She cantered towards Vida and Seaglare, and immediately understood what was happening.
“Vida needs moss from the Trap. She told me that if she doesn’t eat it, it weakens her.“ She informed Seaglade, then frowned deeply and spoke louder for Marlcloud to hear. “But you shouldn’t go to the Trap to retrieve the moss. Caita’s captor’s might still be there. Let me go-it’ll be less suspicious for me to be seen there instead of a Star foal.”
Vida:
"Trap..." She whispered understanding why her body reacted like this.
Kifo:
He felt off then realized eh didn't see Vida. "Vida?" He called out
Marlcloud:
Marlcloud glared at them all, lashing her tail in anger. ”You all want to learn how to kill? Fine. Learn how to kill,” she snorted. “But, if you are ever treated horribly by families of those you’ve killed, don’t cry to me,” she said harshly.
The moment she’d said it, she regretted it. She did not enjoy regret, but she did know that most of what she said was always true.
Seaglade:
Seaglade’s eyes flew open and he knealt as close as he could to her protective fire bubble. ”Not again, please, Vida, wake up..!” He grunted, testing the firey surface with his wingtip only for it to burn slightly.
Vida:
Her head started to throb and her vission began to dim. "Not again.' She whispered as she sank to the ground. She felt a small fire and looking around with her fading sight she saw that her powers had created a bubble of fire locking her inside where she would be safe. "No!" She groaned before blacking out
(Oof kinda long sowwyyy)
Jigun:
He nodded to Iden. “I agree. We also must stop relying on Thea to save us. I’ve watched her drain her powers over and over again for this herd. If the foals knew how to fight or defend themselves, then maybe they wouldn’t get hurt so often.“ He snorted and folded his wings.
Thea pinned her ears, “I’ll have you know that I would gladly drain my powers for this herd. I’m the Healer-I will never turn my back on a Pegasi who needs me.” She snapped to Jigun, who kept an indifferent and serious expression dispite Thea’s angry outburst.
“You cannot save everyone, Thea-not even Star could do that. All I’m saying is that we must stop relying on our powers or someone else to help us, instead we must rely on ourselves.” He replied calmly, then looked to Marlcloud as Thea stormed away from Jigun in a huff of purple feathers.
“Please consider this, Marlcloud. Pegasi are born for battle, not for Starfire.“
Iden:
She furrowed her brow, “Marlcloud I get it, but we are a bunch of foals. Everyone out there, everyone hunting us, are strong trained warriors. We need something other than just our powers to defend us.“ She rattled her wings softly, as she spoke to her leader. She didnt disagree with Marlcloud often, she learned it was better to pick and choose her battles with the wise mare.
Whitesky, "It is a skill all steeds need to learn, star foal or not. You can't protect them by yourself forever Marlcloud.' he stated calmly to her his expression still confident.
Marlcloud:
Marlcloud hated this idea. The day the star foals needed to learn how to fight..... ”I do not like this proposal. The star foals should not ever have a need to learn combat,” she said in a low voice.
Whitesky nodded, "I know how to fight too. I could help." he stated calmly to them keeping his wings tucked on his back lightly.
Jigun:
He watched the squabbling with flicked ears and soaked in the situation. He frowned deeply and pawed the ground. Picking up a brisk canter, he moved towards Marlcloud and the other foals. He bowed his head briefly before puffing out his chest and speaking.
“The reason Caita got captured was because she didn’t know how to fight. None of the Star Foals, with the exception of a few, know how to fight or even fend for themselves. I know how to fight-I’m self taught after living in the Interior alone for all my life. Marlcloud, before we just go rushing into battle, I propose that the Star foals learn how to fight. You, Thunderfire, and I could teach them.” He suggested as he shrugged if the glares he got from some of he other foals.
(Nothing really happened since the last time I gave u a summery lol
News that Caita has been captured has reached the herd, and now some foals and Marlcloud are trying to find out exactly what happened so they can go and rescue her. Brokenfire and the others have just moved out of the Trap and are heading towards Stormwing. And Jigun is about to propose an idea)
Heyyyyy I took quite a long break...... and then came back ......... and then took another break heheh. So I promise I will be more active I have been spending a lot more time off the computer and I’ve tried a few times to check on the phone but pfft that didn’t work. Anyways, this wasn’t important enough to make a whole post about it, so here ya go have fun reading this comment. Oh I also need a summary on the last 5-6 hAahH
Windborn:
"I'm fine." He said his head throbbing from the use of his starfire to bring Kifo back. "I understand." He said
Marlcloud:
Marlcloud’s thought were reeling, and the mare found herself out of control. She had no idea how she appeared to the foals then, and, quite frankly, did not care.
”None of you are to ever wander off again. Do you understand?” She said lowly, saying the words very carefully.
Thea:
Her eyes softened as she watched him grimace. “Are you hurt?” She asked gingerly, taking a step closer to Windborn and extending her wings towards him.
Windborn:
"We were on a walk in the trap... She asked me to go with her so I did and we saw Frayan was captured and even though I tried to stop her she gave herself up for Frayan. I brought Kifo back to hel us find Caita." He said taking a deep breath and winced at the pain splitting through his head
Marlcloud:
Marlcloud glared at Whitesky, pitifully. ”I already know this. But, that does not excuse the reason she was away from Shadow Herd enough to become captured. That was one of my most important rules,” she said sternly, turning her gaze back on Windborn.
Whitesky trotted over to her, his wing still wouldn't allow him to fly so he had to walk. He stopped across from her. He didn't say anything but he wanted to, it wasn't smart to get mad. He knew that Caita could handle herself in this situation she had before after all. "She won't get herself hurt, she knows better than to fight." he stated calmly to Marlcloud when Windborn didn't answer directly, "And I would know that personally, our parents weren't the kindness to her. She's been through more betrails then what she lets lay on the surface." he said afterwards to her looking at Marlcloud in a calm but cofident way.
Marlcloud:
Marlcloud’s immediate resposne was not shock or sadness, but anger. Anger at the filly, Stormfire, and herself. Looking at Windborn, she demanded, ”What were you doing that allowed her to be captured?”
Thea:
She lowered her head slightly in respect when she saw Marlcloud. When no one answered immediately, Thea flutteredher feathers and took a step forward.
“I don’t know all the details, Marlcloud, but apparently, Caita has been captured by Stormfire and his herd. Obviously, we need to rescue her, but we need a plan. Windborn could tell you specifically what happened.” She said, then stepped aside so Marlcloud could see Windborn.
Seaglade:
He hugged Vida comfortingly.
Marlcloud:
Seeing some of the foals react with violence of a subtle sort, she decided to intervene. Cantering over, she ended the onversation with her presence. ”Hello, care to tell me what’s wrong?” She asked politely, folding her wings tightly.
(I'm lossstttttt alreadyyyyy)
Vida:
She shook her head, "No..... I jsut feel distress." She whispered
Thea:
She nodded to Tideflight, but then turned back to Windborn. “Exactly. Thank you Tideflight for having some sense.” She said, snarky, but stepped away from Windborn and looked around for Marlcloud.
“Now, we need a plan.”
Whitesky, "Their fighting over Caita. She was captured by stormfire's steeds, and who knows where she is by now." he stated to her calmly waiting for her response.
Caita waited for the steeds to grab her wing, but she kept a tight grip on the rock, if they wanted to carry her they would have to watch out for it.
Twistflight heard his mom's name multiple times and heard about her being captured. He was tired of hearing the yelling he trotted over to them, "ALL OF YOU STOP IT! Sitting here and fighting about it won't do us any good!! But running back to her with no plans may get yourself killed!" he brayed angrily at them glaring at Windborn when he talked about running back to her.
Seaglade:
He shook his head. ”I do not know, Vida,” he said sorrowfully. ”But, I will look for her if you desire so.”
(Misty Vida keeps talking to Seaglade but you aren't answering)
Bakari:
Bakari heard his name mentioned and frowned deeply, his eyelid twitching uncharacteristically.
Thea:
She huffed, offended, and pinned her ears. “No, I wouldn’t! And don’t bring Bakari into this! I know that I’m not strong enough to fight them alone-we’re called a herd for a reason.“
She spat, then rattled her wings. “Listen! I’m trying to help you to help Caita. But rushing in without a plan to ‘save’ her is not going to work.”
Windborn:
"No! If it was Bakari who was captured you would be doing this too!" He said
Thea:
She rammed Windborn again, this time harder. “Stop! Running off recklessly isn’t going to save her! There’s no way you’ll rescue her by yourself. Either you’ll be killed or captured along with her and instead of helping her, you’ll cause an even bigger problem! Stop!”
She whinnied loudly and shamelessly. Flaring her nostrils, she exhaled sharply.
Windborn:
"I have to save her!" He said starting to run again.
Kifo:
"I have to go speak to Marlcloud. Jeray do you want to stay here or go with me?" She asked.
Vida:
"Seaglade.... Where's Caita?" She asked searching wth her eyes
Ivyspring:
She nodded and stiffly opened her wings. They had to make it out of the Trap first-the trees were to tight to fly through. So, using her spy training and agile body and weaves around the trees, hovering gently over Caita’s head.
Thea:
”We need a plan.” She said simply, fluttering her wings and watching around.
Brokenfire:
Brokenfire nodded. ”Yes, she is quite the frustrating one. Not to worry, though, we’ve done our duty, and Shadow Herd likely knows by now. Let us proceed on our journey,” he snorted, spreading his wings and signaling the two warriors of their group to carry Caita.
Bakari:
Bakari listened to the conversation between Thea and Windborn. Bakari was very confused by all this. How could they have let Caita be captured? Why were they arguing?
He felt his nerves start to frizzle more and more, the hallows of his skin twitching at the flies. His hungr came back, settling in, and he then was sure he could not take it much longer.
Marlcloud:
Marlcloud had noticed the gathering of star foals and the arguing, and sshe had also noticed that Whitesky was attempting to get her attention. Waving him over, she said, ”What has gone wrong now, Whitesky? What have they gotten themselves into?”
Thea:
She dramatically rolled her eyes and rushed after Windborn, pumping her wings to put on a burst of speed. She rammed him to the ground and pinned him down with her wings.
"What is your deal? We're stronger together! We'll get Caita back, I promise, but you can't do it alone." She said, before stepping back and letting Windborn go, but still watched him to make sure he didn't recklessly run off again.
Windborn:
"No!" He spoke before he was able to think. "I have to go get her, Now!" He said starting to run
Thea:
She nodded, "No doubt. If Stormfire is leading them, he most likely captured Caita to either make a pact with her or to use her as a spy and get information about Shadow herd from her. Which is why we have to rescue her as soon as possible."
Windborn:
He shook his head. "No Thea. I think they want us to come to them." He said
Thea:
Her eye twitched and she lashed her tail back and forth. "I'm not trying to argue or start a fight. I'm just confused and trying to help Caita."
Thea inhaled deeply and tried to calm down. "It shouldn't be possible, yet it is. I hate it and now I'm questioning my very existence, but arguing isn't going to help Caita. We need to tell Marlcloud and we all have to go and save her. They're no match for all of Shadow herd." She said louder.
Windborn:
"STOP IT!! If you want to fight someone go elsewhere!" He shouted
Thea:
She rubbed her forehead with her wingtips, as if to soothe a headache. She glared at Windborn with pinned ears.
"Then what's the point of a Healer if just any random Star foal can bring someone back from the dead?! Kifo was dead for a long time. Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to save him-Heck, Star himself probably couldn't either-so how were you able to?!"
She fired back, her wings flaring and her purple eyes blazing with intensity and frustration. "I'm from Sky herd, too. Several other Star foals are also from Sky herd, so don't pretend like you're the only one!" She added, before turning away from the colt. She inhaled deeply to try and calm her nerves, knowing that arguing was stupid.
Windborn:
Anger filled his eyes "Caita was captured by spies from Sky herd. My herd." He snapped. "I brought Kifo to life to help us and because Jeray needed him, also have you ever died? It is not fun to stay dead!"
Thea:
”Windborn, where is Caita?” she stated again, blowing a huff of cold air into his face to wake him up. “Focus! What-“ She overheard voices and flicked her ears backward.
She listened to Kifo, Frayan, and Jerat’s conversation, before turning to face them and stomping her hoof. “No one is going alone. Caita is my friend too. Either we all go rescue her, or none of us do. Now, will someone please tell me what happened?! How is Kifo alive? Where is Caita?” Thea snorted sharply, glancing from Windborn to Frayan.
(Ok bye!)
Kifo:
"I know!" He said pacing back and forth. "Windborn will die if he goes after her alone!"
(I gtg)
Kifo:
"I know I talked to her before I headed us this way." he said thinking back to his last conversation with Caita.
Kifo:
"I have to help them but I can't just leave you Jeray." he said
Kifo:
"I'm fine..... I'm just worried for Windborn and Caita." He said kicking the ground with his hoof
Kifo:
"Yes.... No.... I don't know...." He said
Kifo:
He nodded but was saddened by the fact that Caita was captive. He hung his head and looked at the ground a tear falling but not sprouting a tear flower
Kifo:
He hugged the both, "I missed you so much!" he said
(Haha thats me with Vida!)
Kifo:
He led her to the lake. "Here." Then he waved to Frayan. "Hey frayan! We don't need the water anymore. Thea healed her." He nodded to the other stallion who dropped the water from his wings back into the lake and walked over to the small group
Kifo:
"Maybe I'm still imortal." he whispered sobbing softly. Then he said. "Lets go get a drink of water." He wondered what happened to Frayan and the stallion he sent to find the colt
Kifo:
He hugged her back and then whispered. "But this means I will die of old age and you wont."
Windborn:
He opened his eyes and looked at her blankly, "What do you need Thea?" He asked pain written all over his face. He felt like a gohst again, it felt even worse than when he was actualy dead
Thea:
She left Kifo and Jeray alone and trotted towards the tall, green grass as she felt her stomach growl angrily. She began grazing, but stopped short when she noticed Windborn comforting Tideflight. It was an odd sight to see Windborn standing alone-usually Caita was with him.
Now that she thought about it, where was Caita? The filly never ventured far from the herd, especially not without Windborn or Tideflight. She quickly trotted towards Windborn and nickered gently to get his attention. "Are you alright, Tideflight? What's wrong? What happened to Caita?" She asked, also noticing the sadness in the colt's eyes, which just made her even more concerned.
Kifo:
"I'm not a star foal anymore." He whispered looking at his palimino coat and light green wings
(this is dead too DXX Nightmist? You here?)
Jeray:
Jeray embraced Kifo in a full hug. She pulled back a little and smiled at him, "You've changed."
Thea;
She smiled and nodded, "Of course," She mumbled gently and slowly caught her breath. Her muscles ached and her wings sagged, but she stood tall and briefly exchanged breath with Jeray before stepping back and watching.
Kifo:
"Thank you Thea!" He said
(Hey RB, Did you see Caita's last comment?)
Thea:
“I got this. Jeray lay still and relax.” She nickered expertly. Checking to make sure the sun was shining brightly, she extended her purple wings and felt her tan Starfire swirling powerfully around in her gut, anxious to be let out.
Without waiting for an invitation, she pushed her healing light out of her wings. A few short seconds later, Thea felt Jeray’s fever decrease and her dizziness disappear. Satisfied that this would greatly help her friend, she folded her wings and stopped the flow of Starfire. She instantly felt her head pound and throb with pain, but it was a minor inconvenience for the better health of Jeray.
(Windborn told him)
( How does Whitesky know Caita was kidnapped??? )
Kifo:
"Where is frayan?!" He thought. Seeing a stallion he called out. "Please find Frayan and get some water!" he said.
Starbrooke:
He galloped toward the water. "Frayan?" He asked filling his wings with water from the lake
(Vida keeps trying to talk to Seaglade about Kifo and Whitesky is talking to Marlcloud about Caita being kidnapped and sending out a search party)
(uh Thea's probably about to heal Jeray idk if u wanna do anything there. Ivyspring is anxious to get moving and go back to Stormwing now that Caita is blindfolded and there's no eason to be waiting. Here I'll recomment Ivyspring's last comment for ya:
Ivyspring:
She flexed her wings and flapped them a couple times, satisfied that they could hold her weight. “Yes, I should be able to, so don’t worry about me.“ She nickered gently, before glaring silently at Caita.
“I’m more worried about the Star foal and her attitude. I’m not sure I can take much more of her.” She spat so only Brokenfire could hear her.
)
( Okay, I’m really sorry I’ve been procrastinating, but where am I needed? )
Kifo:
"Thea please heal her if you think you can!" He said franticly
Thea:
Thea gently nuzzled Jeray, "It's all right, now. I've got you." Thea lifted her head and felt Jeray's chest with her wingtip. At the temperature, Thea gasped softly and looked at Kifo, "She's burning up!"
Other than the huge fever and the dizziness, Jeray looked fine. Thea rushed to Jeray's head and waved her wing in front of Jeray's eyes, "Jeray. Jeray! Focus. Can you see my wing?" Her voice was ultimately calm, but had an edge of concern.
Rose, "Let's search the outskirts first, see if I can figure out a path to them that won't take to long." she said to the younger filly who nodded her head in understanding to her, she then choose a direction and started to trot that way as she check her mental map from time-to-time.
Kifo:
He nodded and ran back to Jeray's side. He gently nudged her and whispered to her, "Jeray I need you to wake up now and tell me what hurts, honey."
Caita could feel Ivyspring's glare, she understood her hatred somehow, but didn't say much. "Stop glaring at me. I hate the feeling of being watched." she muttered to the mare her face was mad, though the blindfold hide most of it.
Thea:
She winced gently as she remembered the inceident he was referring to, as if the memory caused old pain to resurface.
She shook her head hard and stamped her hoof, "Kifo, don't be absurd. You won't lose me-no one will. At least let me inspect Jeray. If she doesn't look like she needs my help, then I won't heal her." She offered, but before Kifo could respond, she turned and trotted the rest of the way towards Jeray.
"Hello, Jeray. It's Thea. Can you tell me what hurts? Is there anyway I can help?" She asked, and gently nudged the filly's shoulder.
Kifo:
"I saw what happened when you healed Vida..... I dont want to lose you!" He said
Thea:
She accepted Kifo’s forehead against her’s. She listened to what he had to say, then pulled her head away, and frowned. “It’s my job Kifo-my purpose. Asking me to not heal my friend is like asking the clouds to stop raining.”
She nickered sharply, before softening her gaze and moved even closer to Jeray, “I understand your concern, but please let me help.“
(Gtg ride horsies I’ll be back)
