Horizongold to Redmoon: He trotted over to the morose filly. "Are you okay? Be honest." Seeing her stubborn and sad face, he said, "Look, admitting that you're hurt isn't a bad thing. You were in a fight with a puma and it smacked your leg, I'd be surprised if you escaped with no ill effects. Can I look at it?"

(Mine are working again. How about you can continue the RP until you make part 10, then pause it till next Sunday?)

(So my notifications are working again, so should we un-pause or should we wait until Flamefrost get's back from his trip)

Redmoon to Horizongold and self: Her eyes fluttered open and she lifted her head to see Horizongold coming and she sobbed and stood. She quickly trotted away into the forest where they couldn't see her and she could stare at her leg. She flicked her ears and heard Horizongold land and look around. "Over here," She rasped when he shot his head towards her she wheezed and coughed. Her leg was badly infected but she didn't know that She fluttered her wings.

(yeah we can pause it, but this will be the first place I check when I'm back from April break, so could you put the links to other posts that were created or that there are a lot of new comments on here? )

Horizongold to Magicpetal, Silverflame, and Redmoon: The yearling got to the waterfall roughly the same time as Silverflame and saw Magicpetal trying to get to the top. He was confused as to why until he heard crying from the apex of the falls. It sounded like Redmoon, but what would she be doing here? he thought. Then he saw the feather and realized it must be Redmoon. He flapped his strong wings, experienced from his father's teaching, and quickly passed Magicpetal, who was struggling. "Land!" he whinnied to her. "I don't want you falling like last time!" He then reached the top of the falls and saw Redmoon sobbing, her rear leg at an extremely awkward angle.

Silverflame to Magicpetal:

The young colt's heart was still racing from the puma attack. He didn't remember much of what had happened after the cubs attacked, just that he had some how managed to kill one of the males with a semi accidental blow to the head. He himself had excepted with only a small tuft of fur missing from his shoulder, none of his blood had been drawn.

Silverflame was waiting outside of the medicine mare's den, when Magicpetal took off and flew in the direction of a near by mountain range, and decided to follow. The colt kept his distance, no knowing what Magicpetal was doing.

Just before Silverflame reached the water fall, he caught a whiff of Redmoon's scent. Confused he looked in the direction he guess the smell was coming from, and spotted a red and white feather, witch he knew must belong to Redmoon, fluttering in the wind above the water fall.

Oh no, he thought. Almost immediately he noticed Magicpetal trying to gain altitude, but her small wings were making it difficult. Silverflame glided over the filly and asked "Do you need some help?"

(Sorry I guys I wasn't on, I some how forgot my notifications weren't working, but I was really busy today anyways. I was thinking that maybe we could pause this RP until the problem is fixed, I just wanted to see what you guys thought about that before I make it official)

(Wait Riverbreeze you’re getting notifications?? Mine aren’t working.)

Horizongold to Magicpetal: Hey where are you going?” he asked, following her into the forest.

Embermoon to coucil: She sighed at Blazefire's decision and pawd the ground. "First, I want to know why you are so disobedient," She said and glared into his eyes.

Magicpetal to Horizongold: -since Emberblaze was fine, he was talking with Starsummer just outside the cave. Magicpetal was in the cave with Horizongold, holding her breath as Cloudroot preformed her tests on Horizongold. Once she said that he was fine, she turned away.- "Where's Redmoon?" -she asked herself. She trotted out of the cave and into the valley where she lifted her head, trying to pick up Redmoon's scent. She got a faint wiff of it, coming from a mountain. The mountain was very far away, it would take her all day to get there by hoof. She looked at her wings. The last time she tried flying above the trees......she didn't want to think about that. She decided to stay safe, so she lept up into the air and stayed well below the trees. She glided into the forest, her nose twitching. She followed Redmoon's scent up to a very tall waterfall. "Can my wings carry me up that high?" -she asked.- "Come on, Magicpetal. This is for Redmoon! Your friend. You have to help her." -she said, trying to motivate herself.-

Redmoon to self: She walked deeper into the forest. Her heart pounded in her ears. She emerged on a cliff. Her eyes grew huge with amazement. There was a waterfall and geese flying above her head. She had never gone this far into the Glacier Herd territory. Was it the Glazier Herd territory? She didn't know and didn't care. She sat down but then her leg swelled in pain and she fainted. Her body lay there peaceful but her leg growing redder and hot.

Meanwhile, Cloudroot was inspecting Horizongold as he came into the den. "Puma again?" she asked, and Horizongold nodded. "Hmm," Cloudroot said thoughtfully, looking at the scratch marks on Horizongold's dock, above his tail. "Flick your tail at me," she said.

Horizongold did so, grinning as his tail smacked the medicine mare in the chest.

Cloudroot nickered and said, "Okay, that one's fine. And you're still sassy, so nothing can be too wrong. Now I need to look at your shoulder." She looked at the graze and saw some missing hair and red skin, but it wasn't bleeding. "Move that leg for me -- but don't kick me," she said.

Horizongold grinned again and pawed the ground with that foot, then reared and kicked up at the air with it.

"You're fine," Cloudroot said, seeing his movements. "But if either of them start hurting after they stop, tell me immediately."

"What do you mean?" the yearling asked.

"I mean that they will probably stop hurting from the puma fight within a day or two. The pain will go away for a while, probably permanently, but if it flares up again I need to know. I don't want it getting infected."

Horizongold nodded, and Cloudroot let him leave the cave.

Redmoon to Shadowfire and self: She snorted silently and stayed at the border of the forest. She laid down and drooped her ears. Her leg was broken. She had dishonored her soter. She had dishonored her family, and most of all, had dishonored herself. She sighed and though for awhile.

Shadowfire: "Well, if that's the case, you need to be going to the medicine mare cave. Doesn't necessarily mean you will get treated, but if I'm 'leading you to water' you will be led to the 'water,' which is the medicine den. And don't walk away from me like that!" he called when he saw her walking into the forest.

Remdoon to Shadowfire: She rolled her eyes. "You're trying to make me go to the medicine den to get healed so i'm the horse being taken to water and is not drinking it," She said and she turned around and walked away into the forest where she could hide.

Shadowfire: "Are you calling me a horse?!" he demanded. "Whatever that is supposed to mean, it doesn't change the fact that your leg is injured."

(I know what the saying means, but I want Shadowfire to be offended.)

Redmoon to Shadowfire: She stood her ground. "You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink," She snorted and stood there, stubborn.

Shadowfire: "No it isn't," he said firmly. "You had your way in getting to join the fight, so I now will get my way in ordering you to go to the medicine mare cave."

Redmoon to Shadowfire: She puffed out ehr chest and feathers. "My leg is just fine thank you very much," She said. Her skin shivered and her leg ached. She made one sign by pain and fear flickeriing across her eyes.

(And btw it's Shadowfire since apparently Horizonfire is taken)

Shadowfire to Redmoon: "You sure about that?" he asked sarcastically. "I know you're not fine, as you claim. You need to get that leg looked at. Can you walk?"

Redmoon to Emberblaze, Horizongold, and Shadowfire: She was still laying down breathing heavily and stood but a fierce pain gripped her leg and she squinted and bit her lip. She tried to hide it best she could when they looked at her and she smiled very warily. "Yep....... Fine here...." She lied.

Shadowfire to others: The captain stood proudly on the body of the now-dead puma, grinning triumphantly. "Okay," he said. "Horizongold, Emberblaze, here." When the two young fighters came closer, he stepped off the puma's body and continued speaking. "We need to make sure there are no more pumas here. You two, go to the left of that bush. I'll take the right." He pointed to the bush that the most recent puma had jumped out of. They crept up and Shadowfire was relieved to see that there were no more pumas. They checked the other bushes in the clearing, all of them strangely symmetrical. None of the other bushes were hiding pumas and Shadowfire could no longer smell the strong scent of the predators. "That's settled, then," he said. "There are no more pumas in the area. Now back to what we were doing before that last puma showed up. Is everyone all right?"

"Not really," answered Horizongold. When his sire and Emberblaze looked at him, alarmed, he quickly added. "I'll be fine. I can make it to the medicine mare cave. But I'll probably need to stay there for a while. I'm headed there now."

"Good," Shadowfire said approvingly. "Emberblaze, are you okay? Do you need to go with Horizongold?"

Horizongold turned back from his way to the medicine mare den when her heard the growls of a puma. He saw an adult launch out of another bush at Emberblaze and galloped to to help. Shadowfire (I'll go with this one) hadn't yet left the clearing and also came toward it. Horizongold was pleased to see that Emberblaze had done what he'd done; flew a short distance off the ground and attacked from the air. Horizongold did the same and kicked the puma as hard as he could. But this puma had seen the pegasi attack his family, so he was wise to this trick. As Horizongold's hind hooves sailed toward his head, the puma ducked and swiped up at Horizongold's underbelly. Miraculously, Horizongold had moved and the blow only lightly scraped his shoulder, removing some fur. Horizongold was a bit off-balance after his strike hadn't met any resistance, and he flew higher to think. He soon devised a counter-plan and nodded at his sire to put it into effect. Shadowfire knew what his son wanted and got into position, rearing and whinnying furiously to bait the puma toward him. The puma did just that and Horizongold went to work, kicking at the tawny predator's legs. Soon three of them were broken and the other was dislocated from the hip. The puma, now grounded and immobile, was still a long way from finished. Its jaws snapped with fury and it growled menacingly, daring the pegasi to get closer. Wisely, none of them took it up on that offer. Shadowfire joined the fight for real at this point; flying and landing on the puma's already bruised and bleeding back, causing it to scream in pain. Shadowfire did what he had come to the clearing to do, and that was kill a puma. The creature's eyes went blank and its head sunk to the forest floor as it died.

Emebrblaze to others: -he was still with Magicpetal when he heard the growl of a puma.- "Stay here, again. I'll be back." -he told her quickly. He whirled around and galloped back-. "I never should have left!" -he thought. He burst into the circle of stone and trees and flared his wings at the giant puma- "Redmoon!" -he whinnied, when his eyes fell on his friend. He instinctually flew up into the air. Once he was up above, he crashed down onto the puma between his eyes. The puma fell back, dazed. But, it stood up and snarled at Emberblaze, blood dripping from his forehead. Emberblaze darted to Horizongold's side. He flexed his muscles, prepared for the puma to strike-

Redmoon to pegasi in clearikng: She watched them defeat all the pumas. She flicked her ears towards a bush that was yet again rustling. Her ears pinned. "I don't think we're done yet," She shouted and whirled around just in time to see a large male puma jump out of the bushes aiming for his prey. She reared and lashed her tail. Her hooves came flying over the air and ont one of the pumas legs. The puma howled and raked at her tail. She grunted and fell a few winglengths away and stood up warily. "Get that darn thing!" She growled.

Emberblaze to everyone: -he folded his wings- "I'm okay." -he suddenly remembered the fillies in the clearing. He turned around and cantered back to them.-

Magicpetal to Emberblaze: -she flicked her ears toward hoofbeaats coming toward them. When Emberblaze came out of the trees, she sighed in relief and checked him over for wounds- "Where's Horizongold and his father?" she asked, smelling his hooves where he crushed the puma's skull- "There still in the circle of stone and trees. I just came back to check on you." -he said, reasureingly-

( btw I'm going to be in Georgia visiting relatives for April break (Friday April 13 to Saturday April 21) so I won't be on here. )

(Don't worry, everyone's having that problem, hopefully it will be back to normal in a few days. And Flamefrost, the name Hoizonfire is already taken)

Horizonfire: "Very impressive!" he said to Emberblaze. "Is everyone okay?" he asked.

Horizongold: "I have a scratch near my tail, but I think it's fine. I'll get it looked at."

Emberblaze to puma: -he reared at the last puma, his hooves flying. He bared his teeth and pinned his ears, and with that, the puma ran away into the forest-

(Here's Horizonfire: )

Horizonfire: "Nicely done!" he called. He scared away the female with a feigned kick, because he realized just killing them was a bit cruel. "Don't kill the last one!" he shouted. "Just kick at it to scare it away!"

Emberblaze to the puma: -he whinnied and dived out of the way and without thinking launched his hind hooves onto the puma's ribs, breaking them. The puma fell to the floor in agony. Emberblaze darted over and crushed it's skull with his front hooves. He whirled around ready for the next attaker. His stallion blood cursed throug his veins. Fighting was so exhilerating.-

Horizongold did what he had done to the father puma; spun and kicked the puma with his back hooves. But the puma had moved and instead of hitting the head, Horizongold's hooves hit her in the shoulder instead. The puma had a paw on the way and it grazed Horizongold's tail. Horizongold squealed in pain, turned back to face it, and reared. His hooves lashed the air in front of its face to scare it and direct it to his father. Horizonfire was ready and flew a winglength off the ground, then pummeled the puma with his sharpened hooves. Soon one of its back legs was broken and it had bruises across its back but this puma was fighting with its maternal instincts. These instincts didn't help it much, though, as Horizonfire landed and delivered a deathblow to the cat's jaw, then another to its forehead. The mother sank to the forest floor, dead.

Then the cubs realized what was happening. There were four of them, three males and a female, that crept stealthily out of the bush. The youngest, a male, looked at his siblings with a confused expression. These winged creatures didn't look like food. What were they supposed to do? he wondered. His oldest brother answered that question by launching himself at one of the small ones.

"Emberblaze! Look out!" Horizongold shouted as a puma cub jumped towards the foal.

(aww!!!! Okay. Bye!!)

Emberblaze to puma: -they all stood deathly still, waiting to see what the puma would do. His muscles twitched ready to pounce and defend his friends at any moment-

Redmoon to puma: She stood still, her eyes fierce ready to attack.

Emberblaze to everyone: -he reared and bared his teeth. He kept his head down and his wings close to his body, a trick he picked off of from Snowfrost-

"For the last time, be quiet!" Horizongold hissed. He and his father walked forward stealthily, Emberblaze and Redmoon following. They went around the back of the ring of stones where Bronzewing had come with his nephew to dispatch one of the pumas. They got back to where the adult puma had jumped off the ledge but didn't see anything. Then a bush moved, as if the wind was stirring it but there was no wind. Horizonfire and his son went on either side of it to see what was making it move, and a vicious snarl sounded from behind the bush. A tawny puma jumped from the bush, claws ready to strike. She lashed at the air desperately, a last attempt to save her cubs.

Redmoon to Emberblaze: She tilted her head in a cute and confused way and shrugged. "Ehh I'm not funny anyways," She said and trotted forward more.

Embrblaze to Redmoon: -he kept walking, unamused by her humor-

Redmoon to Elberblaze: She saw him roll his eyes and frowned. "Wow. The roll of the eyes" She nickered.

Emberblaze to others: -he snorted, but followed behind her, rolling his eyes-"Fillies." -he said under his breath-

Redmoon to Horiozonfire: She smirked. "I'll gladly go with you," She said and trotted forward.

Horizonfire: "Thank you, Magicpetal. Look, Redmoon, how do you think your sister would feel if she recovered only to find that her sister was injured from a puma as well? Now, stay here or come with us. It's time to attack."

Redmoon to others: "I'm going and that's that!" She snorted and walked forward.

Magicpetal to Redmoon: "Just listen to him. He's a captain." -she said, crouching-

Redmoon to Horizonfire: She shok her head. "I'll be fine. I'm a lot stronger than I look" She said.

Horizonfire: "Redmoon! When I said stay here, I meant here. Don't get involved in the fight."

Redmoon to Emberblaze, Horizongold, and Horizonfire: She nodded and walked forward. She pranced her tai; held high.

Emberblaze to Magicpetal: -he gave her a warning glance, then turned and followed Horizongold into the circle of trees and stones-

Horizonfire. "No, you should leave." he said, more firmly. Then he saw that these fillies were determined. "Oh well, stay here if you must. But I think this is a breeding den from what I can see, and even half-grown pumas are a fair match for weanling pegasi."

Emberblaze to Horizonfire and Magicpetal: -he lifted his head, proudly from the compliment. He thrusted his wing outward stopping Magicpetal in her tracks- "Stay here." -he said, his eyes firey-

Redmoon to Horizonfire: She puffed out her chest and flared her feathers. "I am staying RIGHT where I am because this is for my siter," She said proudly. Breezebell blushed a bit from her sister.

Horizongold. "We're almost here, Father. Just past that log was where Breezebell was attacked."

Horizonfire nodded. He whispered, "Okay. Horizongold, stay with me. Others, be silent. Oh, and Emberblaze, you can stay if you like. I can tell you'll make a good warrior and this could be a valuable experience for you. Fillies, I would advise leaving."

Emberblaze to everyone: "Nope. I just hope the pumas aren't still here." -he said, glancing protectively at his younger sister while keeping his other eye trained on the forrest-

Redmoon to foals: Her coat shivered. "The trees were identical though! I mean, what could that even mean?!" She looked at Emberblaze. "Any ideas Emberblaze?" She said.

Horizongold looked uncomfortable. "We don't know what the stones are for."

Magicpetal to Horizongold and friends: -she walked next to her brother and Horizongold, her eyes and ears never stopped moving.- "I hope not." -she answered in a hushed tone-
