Starsummer to Darkstone: "Is everything okay with Whietshadow?" -she asked Darkstone as he came toward her, while she was watching Emberblaze-

Darkstone to Starsummer: "Yeah, I guess...She said she was just tired...." -he said to Starsummer. But, then, he thought to himself, "Maybe I'll ask her if she wants to go for a nighttime fly with me....maybe that will perk her up a bit." -the more he thought about the nighttime fly, the more excited he was about it. He had gained a friend, and she was one he never wanted to lose.-

(sorry, it took me a wile to type that up)

Whiteshadow to Darkstone & Maplesong: "I will." promised the light colored mare, as she watched Darkstone walk away.

Whiteshadow turned and almost ran into her mentor, Maplesong. The young mare couldn't help but notice that Maplesong had tears in her eyes. "Are you okay?" asked Whiteshadow, concerned.

Maplesong quickly wiped away the tear with her wing, "I'm alright." said Maplesong, "Just remembering something that happened a long time ago."

Maplesong paused, staring at something a long ways off, then after a wile she said, "I over heard you talking to Darkstone."

Whiteshadow blushed, "W-what did you over hear?"

"Enough." said Maplesong

"What does that mean?"

Maplesong let out a chuckle, "Enough to know you like him."

Whiteshadow grew even redder under her fur, "Please don't tell anyone."

"Don't worry your secret is safe with me, but I would suggest you tell him. Sooner rather then later."

With that Maplesong turned and slowly walked back to her cave, leaving Whiteshadow wondering if her mentor had any previous experience with stallions.

Darkstone to Whiteshadow: -he looked at her and saw that strange look again, he could tell she was nervous about something, but he was so clueless on what it was that he could simply say, "I'll let you rest." -he said, touching her wing with his. Then, he turned around and walked away from her, still thinking on what that look was about-

Maplesong to herself: Maplesong watched amused as her assistant attempted to talk to Darkstone. The medicine mare remembered being young and having a crush on a clueless captain named Blazefire. She always was thinking about him, but when she tried to talk to him, it never turned out very well.

Then one day during a battle, Blazefire was badly injured. Maplesong had only been a medicine mare for only a few moons, she rushed to him to try to stop the bleeding in some of the largest wounds so he could be transported back to Valley Herd's medicine cave. But Maplesong wasn't up for the task.

Tears started to well up in Maplesong's eyes at the memory. She had gotten most of the wounds dressed, but she had missed a large gash on the inside of his left hind leg that was already infected. By the time she noticed the mistake, the leg was damaged beyond repair.

Blazefire was never the same after that. The once noble stallion, rarely said a word now. He was in constant pain, and wouldn't let anyone help him, especially Maplesong. Blazefire mostly hung around the edge of the herd or with the walkers.

Maplesong couldn't look at him without remembering her mistake, and it didn't help that he always was mean to her. But Maplesong still held out hope that someday Blazefire would forgive her, but so far nothing he hadn't.

Whiteshadow to Darkstone: "Y-yes." stammered Whiteshadow, "I'm uh... just a little tired, that's all."

Keep it together, thought Whiteshadow. She could hear her heart pounding inside her chest, and prayed Darkstone couldn't heart it to.

Darkstoe to Whiteshadow: -he saw her standing alone with a strange look in her eye that he couldn't quite decipher. He walked over to her- "Hey, are you okay? You seem a little....distant." -he said looking worried like something was wrong-

Whiteshadow to Darkstone: Whiteshadow let out a long breath, she had been nervous about what would happen when Starsummer introduced her foals to the herd, but it seemed to be going fairly well. Sure Starsummer had snapped Snowfrost, but what mare wouldn't snap at a strange stallion near her new born foals?

Whiteshadow's thoughts were suddenly interrupted when she spotted Darkstone, her heart skipped a beat. What's wrong with me, she thought, I wasn't like this yesterday.

Snowfrost to Emberblaze: Snowfrost was still a little wary of the mare, but he trotted after the colt.

Starsummer to Snowfrost: -she narrowed her protective eyes at the stallion, looking at him head to hooves and folded her wings and relaxed once she realized he was okay- x turned to Emberblaze, but still kept her eyes on Snowfrost x "Stay where I can see you." -she said to mainly Snowfrost, but also directed to Emberblaze.

Emberblaze to Starsummer: "I will momma!! I won't go far!!" -in the blink of an eye he shooted to Snowfrost's side and bleated at him- "Wait are you waiting for?!!!" x runs and gallops, bucking and lashig his tail x

Starsummer to Emberblaze: -she nodded her head and layed down under the shade of a tree, Magicpetal and Goldenstream laying beside her. She stayed awake, watching her oldest colt run with his new friend-

(Sorry about the foal thing, it just kept slipping my mind. I am on it)

Mistcloud to Moonwing: Mistcloud snorted, and went into a steep nose dive.

The lead mare was determined to find out what was up with Moonwing. Usually he was pretty easy going for a stallion, but in the last few months he had become very irritable, and had snapped at more then one steed. Mistcloud had been trying to ignore her mate's sudden mood change, but now he had taken it to far. Snapping at adult pegasi was on thing, but sapping at a newborn foal was completely different, especially since Emberblaze hadn't done anything wrong.

Snowfrost to Starsummer: Snowfrost stopped short of the mare, and lowered his head in an attempted to look unthreatening, "My name is Snowfrost, son of Icewing." said Snowfrost, "And your colt," he flicked his ears of the young bay, "Wanted to play with me and my friend over there." Snowfrost used his wing to point at Copperpool.

Starsummer to Snowfrost: -her head lifted to attention as she saw a strange, grey pegasus walking up to Emberblaze. She walked in front of Emberblaze and used her body to block her 3 foals from the strangers view, protecting them- "Who are you and what do you want?" -she snapped-

Snowfrost to Emberblaze: Snowfrost let out an amused snort, "That ones going to be trouble." muttered Snowfrost, but the young gray stallion walked up to the little foal.

( maybe they could have 2 foals, just at seperate times. Like Morningleaf and Hazelwind. They are brother and sister but they where born on different times.)

Darkstone to Snowfrost: -he notices a grey stallion who was talking with a copper-colored stallion. - "Who are those guys?" he thought to himself "Should I go introduce myself?"

Starsummer to Darkstone: -she saw him looking toward some Glacier herd stallions- "Go. Go meet them. It would be nice if you found some friends, now that we'll be staying here." x she said not lifting her heads and keeping her eyes on the foals.

Emberblaze to Snowfrost and Coperpool: -he saw a grey stallion point at him. He bleated at the stallions and reared.- "Your cool! Come play with me! My sisters are so boring!" -he pranced in place, anxious to run in the meadow, jump over logs and play in the lakes-

Moonwing:drops to the forest below when he hears Mistcloud calling

Snowfrost to Starsummer: The young gray stallion poked his head around the other Glacier Herd steeds to see the small foals, "That one looks like he'll be a great fighter." commented Snowfrost to Copperpool, using his wing to point at the bay foal

Mistcloud to Moonwing: Mistcloud pumped her wings and few higher, "Moonwing, stop!" called Mistcloud to her mate, hoping he could still hear her.

Starsummer to foals: as they walked out of the clearing, sunlight peered through the trees and onto her face, warming her entire body. She now felt at peace for the first time since Brightwing had asked her to be his mate. She and Brightwing walked calmly out of the clearing to find lots of pegasi raising their heads at their arrivial. She turned to reveal the 3 happy foals and said partly to the herd and partly to the foals. "Emberblaze, Goldenstream, and Magicpetal, welcome."

Moonwing: sees Mistcloud flying up behind him and surges higher into the clouds.

Starsummer to Brightwing: she took a deep breath and said through gritted teeth, "I guess your right." and started walking out of the clearing with Brightwing

Starsummer to Emberblaze:"Son, come back. That was the over-stallion. He won't play with you, he is to busy. Go play with uncle Darkstone or your sisters." she said with calmer eyes

Brightwing to Starsummer: He could tell what she was thinking. He put his cool wing on her hot shoulder. “It’s okay, he probably only meant he doesn’t doesn”t play with foals that often.”

Starsummer to herself: She stamped hoof with rage and flared her wings and said in her mind "What does "not accustomed to spending time with your type" supposed to mean, Moonwing? Are me and my family not good enough for you?!!!! Say that sentence again, I dare you. I double dare you to say that sentence again. You better stay away from my family." she said, her eyes a bright red and smoke coming out of her ears. With almost every fiber in her body, she wanted to fly up to Moonwing and kick him. But, one tiny little fiber told her no, and she angrily listened to the tiny little fiber saying "No"

Mistcloud to Brightwing, Starsummer, & their foals: Mistcloud rolled her eyes, "Sorry about that. He's going to have to start liking foals at some point."

With that Mistcloud took off after her mate.

Moonwing to Emberblaze: looks down at him condescendingly. "I am not accustomed to spending time with your type." He takes off and soars into the clouds.

Starsummer to Brightwing: "He needs to figure these things out for himself. He needs to know that Moonwing is the over-stallion. Once Emberblaze learns his lesson, he will respect Moonwing and not think he is a play-partner." she said, not taking her eyes off Moonwing.

Brightwing to Starsummer: “Uh-oh, look.” He nodded at Emberblaze. “This will not end out well.” He started to go retrieve his colt but Starsummer held him back. He snorted but decided not to fight back.

Darkstone to Whiteshadow: He nickered and playfully bumped her on the hip "Who wouldn't like you?"

Starsummer to Brightwing: they made their way back into the clearing. "I think it's time for our foals to meet other pegasi." she said to Brightwing. "They should get a taste of what Anok looks like." She spotted Mistcloud and Moonwing, but she thought, it was just better to leave them alone. But, Emberblaze had other ideas.

Emberblaze to Moonwing: He decided he wanted to meet these big, strong pegai. He eagerly trotted toward Moonwing. Emberblaze sniffed Moonwing, then bleated at him. "Woww! Your big!! Can you play with me? Are you good at wrestling?!" he flapped his navy blue wings and tugged on Moonwing's mane.

Mistcloud to Moonwing: After Brightwing and Starsummer flew off to find their foal, Mistcloud and Moonwing were left in the clearing.

Mistcloud leaned into Moonwing and let out a sigh, "I'm glad that worked out," said Mistcloud, "I thought that was going to be more work then it was. Now we can just focus getting ready for the foals."

Whiteshadow to Darkstone: "I guess your right." said Whiteshadow, "I just get concerned when some one doesn't like me."

(Okay I have a confession to make: I got my OC and Cass's OCs mixed up, and you got it correct, the medicine mare from Valley Herd name is Maplesong not Mapleberry. I'm sorry, I made a big deal about her name being Mapleberry, but when I was updating the character post last night, and I realized that I made a mistake.)

Darkstone to Whiteshadow: he considered what she asked and shrugged his wings saying "If she is, she'll get over it. You are the one who helped Mapleberry with Magicpetal when she was choking. Starsummer was grateful for that, so, I think she is just being protective."

Whiteshadow to Darkstone: Whiteshadow and Darkstone followed Starsummer and the foals out of the clearing and back to the herd, "Do you think your sister is mad at me?" said Whiteshadow in a low voice to Darkstone.

Starsummer to Whiteshadow: she lifted her head a little and simply nodded and swung her hips back to the 3 foals.

Starsummer to everyone: "We should head back." she turned around and trotted back the way she came, with the 3 foals at her side.

Whiteshadow to Starsummer: "Don't worry she's fine," said Whiteshadow, "You will be pleased to know that your daughter is a natural born swimmer."

Starsummer to Whiteshadow: "Wh-What!!?? You where teaching her to......WHAT?!!" -swung her hips away from Magicpetal and began sniffing her and checking her over-

Starsummer to Magicpetal: "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" she said, her body tense

Whiteshadow to Darkstone: "We gave up trying to hide and so I was teaching Magicpetal how to swim."

Magicpetal to Whiteshadow: as she was drinking her mother's warm, creamy milk, she glanced at Whiteshadow and nodded her head slightly and swished her tail.

Darkstone to Whiteshadow: "Where did you come from?! How did you randomly show up!?" he said as he bombarded her with questions about their hiding spot.

Whiteshadow to Magicpetal: As the little roan filly swum past Whiteshadow to get to her dam, the gray mare whispered "Don't tell anyone."

Darkstone to Whiteshadow and Magicpetal: -stares at Whiteshadow then shakes his head and sent a confused glance at Magicpetal- "How-H-where- Wh-Did you just-Are you-..... Wha?" x he looked from Whiteshadow to Magicpetal then back to Whiteshadow x "Uhh... found you.... I guess."

Starsummer to 3 foals: x she landed next to Darkstone and the 3 foals came scrambling to suckle as soon as her hooves touched the ground. She sent a puzzled look at Darkstone and Whiteshadow but dipped her head to graze as her 3 hungery foals drank their fill, pushing each other x

Whiteshadow to Magicpetal: The two waited for the sounds of Darkstone and the other two foals to fade away, then Whiteshadow moved silently to the other side of the cave and motioned for Magicpetal to follow her. "This tunnel," whispered Whiteshadow, "Leads into a lake, but the water in the lake is shallow, and we'll only have to swim for a minuet."

Magicpetal nodded, and Whiteshadow led the young filly down the passage.

A few feet from the entrance to the tunnel, Whiteshadow started to feel water lapping at her hooves, soon the water was up to her hocks. She turned around to check on the filly, and was pleased to see she was keeping up just fine, Whiteshadow was grateful that she was about the same size as Magicpetal. "Not much further." said Whiteshadow.

The pair continued to wade out into the water as it got deeper and deeper. "Okay Magicpetal, take a deep breath, and stay close."

Whiteshadow took a huge gulp of air, and dove under the water. Seconds later both Magicpetal and Whiteshadow popped up on the surface of the lake, just as Darkstone walked by.

Darkstone to Emberblaze: "Found ya! C'mon you can help us find Magicpetal."

Emberblaze to Darkstone: he pouted at first, but got bored of pouting and trotted alongside Darkstone, swishing his black tail happily.

Magicpetal to Whiteshadow: she looked up at the mare. "Where's momma?" she said, opening her tiny mouth like she wants to suckle.

Starsummer to Mistcloud and Moonwing : -As she talked with Mistcloud and Moonwing, she realized that her foals hadn't eaten anything yet, and they have been born for a few hours. Foals need to start suckling immidiatly and it's been almost 2 hours since they'hv been born- "Excuse me, I need to... uh...feed my foals." she kicked off and flew low over the trees, whinnying and calling her foals.

Starsummer to Mistcloud: she took a peek at Mistcloud's plump belly. She quietly whinnied and dipped her head slightly. "Congratulations."
