He decided to stay awake to keep watch.

Lenitystone:

She yawned and flopped on her side, her golden wings splayed out. Letting the rain lull her to sleep, her mind drifted off into darkness; the last picture in her mind being Forestheart's silhouette against the outer grey.

Ardorray: He sighed, "I don't know... I'm not a very social zebrasus. So I- don't really get into relationships or anything..."

Silverwing (Rainfall):

He woke up and laid a wing over Flamecloud's back.

Streamblaze (Mooncycle):

"No, I usually keep to myself. Come to think of it, I haven't seen you, either."

Streamblaze (Mooncycle):

She smiled, her shyness vanishing. "You look so silly."

Ironcore:

"Huh? In clumps?" He craned his neck around to see, but he couldn't, of course. He suddenly laughed, "That's what I get for getting wet!" He declared with a grin.

Crystalflower:

She looked at him, and softly nuzzled him.

Crystalflower:

She leaned on Timberwood.

( @Stormflight I just realized that your character Lionshade has a crush on my character Moonstone, but Moonstone is in a different herd. I think I have an idea on how to get them in the same herd...)

Crystalflower:

She put a wing around him, knowing that he didn't like how she carried some much about Basilpool. But Crystalflower liked Timberwood too, more than he thought.

Crystalflower: She turned back towards him, smelling his jealousy. She gave him a look.

Timberwood:

"oh, yeah. He probably went back to his family," He said.

Crystalflower:

She slowed her pace so she had Timberwood right next to her. "I wonder were Basilpool is?" she looked away.

Timberwood:

He trotted after her, hoping that trotting wasn't one of the things Birchroot hadn't wanted her to do.

Crystalflower:

She trotted away, knowing that Timberwood would follow her.

Timberwood:

"of course," He said. "Thank you!"

Birchroot:

As he did so, she fed Crystalflower a different bark that she smeared with green paste. It would help heal her, and help her fight the pain. Then, she fed her the leaves for energy, and put a different paste on them, which should help her. "Alright, you make sure that she doesn't do any more of that crazy stuff she likes to do while healing, and she should be good," she told Timberwood.

Crystalflower:

She snorted, but she had to admit, she did feel better.

TImberwood:

"Sure," He said. He grabbed the bark, and did as the medicine mare said.

Ironcore:

"Huh? In clumps?" He craned his neck around to see, but he couldn't, of course. He suddenly laughed, "That's what I get for getting wet!" He declared with a grin.

Birchroot:

She dug up roots, stripped the bark off of near by trees, and ripped off leaves. She dunked her wings in water and trotted back to Crystalflower. "Timberwood, can you grab that hard bark, dip it in this water, and dab Crystalflower's head were she banged it? Keep doing that."

Timberwood:

He watched as Birchroot gathered the herbs.

Birchroot:

"Oh, dear!" She fanned her wings. "Crystalflower, please lay down while a gather supplies."

Crystalflower:

She huffed and lay down in the wet grass, glaring.

Timberwood:

"Ina more detailed version of what she said, Crystalflower hit her head on a tree, tried flying, and blacked out." He nickered.

Crystalflower:

"Well, hi Birchroot, so, I hit my head on a tree, and Timerwood is saying that I need you, though I feel fine." Crystalflower said.

Birchroot:

She spotted Crystalflower and Timberwood walking together and she trotted towards them.

Silverwing (Rainfall):

He sighed contentedly and fell asleep.

Flamecloud:

She lay down next to Silverwing, preening his feathers. She soon felt tired, and fell asleep.

Stripeleaf:

She grinned, "I don't think mother and father could handle them, but that would be cool!" She hoped one of them would be a filly.

(Do you think it should be a colt and a filly? Filly and a filly? Colt and a colt?)

Cometcliff (Rainfall):

He sped up as a thought struck him, gliding through the miserable drizzle to fly next to Stripeleaf. "Stripeleaf! What if it's twins?"

(Flamecloud won't die birthing, right?)

Cometcliff (Rainfall):

He lifted off after his sister, catching the restless winds driving the rain sideways. The rain was letting up a little bit.

Stripeleaf:

She smiled and lifted off, scanning the ground for Lightflame. Her thought drifted to her mother. She hoped the foal was a girl, but she new Cometcliff wanted it to be boy.

Cometcliff (Rainfall)

He sighed. Lightflame was great and all, but he wanted a friend his own age. He nodded. "Sure."

Stripeleaf:

She wrapped a wing around Cometcliff. "Why don't we go find Lightflame?"

Cometcliff (Rainfall)

He wanted to go and share the news with a friend... but sadly he had no friends. He blinked, a little sadder.

Grassroot:

She fanned her wings. "You both do! I'll go get some bark."

Flamecloud:

She smiled more then she ever had before, and her heart melted. She felt her breath tighten and she was overwhelmed by the crazy day. She took a deep breath. "I need to lay down."

Cometcliff (Rainfall)

He was almost bouncing up and down.

Flamecloud:

She nodded and nuzzled him.

Cometcliff (Rainfall)

"Wow! Really?"

Flamecloud:

She took a deep breath and smiled, nodding. "Cometcliff, your going to be a older brother!" Flamecloud wrapped her wing around him and Stripeleaf. Stripeleaf gasped and also burst into tears.

Silverwing (Rainfall):

He turned to Grassroot. "Flamecloud is going to have a foal!"

Cometcliff

He ran toward his parents.

Flamecloud:

She smiled. "Cometcliff! Stripeleaf! Come here!" she shouted, smiling.

Grassroot:

She spotted Silverwing standing with Flamecloud and she grunted. She landed beside them, "What's going on here?"

(Oo, Grassroot needs to come back and yell at Silverwing for getting up!)

Silverwing (Rainfall):

He stepped back, beaming at Flamecloud.

Flamecloud:

She burst into tears of joy and clutched her belly with her wings, leaning against Silverwing.

Silverwing (Rainfall):

He struggled up and wrapped his wings around her.

Flamecloud:

She nodded, "I'm pregnant," she whispered.

Silverwing (Rainfall)

"Is it...?" His eyes widened.

Flamecloud:

She smiled at them, "Sweetie, I have something to discuss with your father, can you give us a moment?"

Silverwing (Rainfall):

He flopped his wings. "Fine, Grassroot won't let me get up, though,"

Cometcliff (Rainfall)

He grinned at his mother. "Everything's fine here too."

Flamecloud:

She trotted back to her family, "Hello darlings, everyone is fine, so I came back here. How are you doing, love?" she pressed her forehead against Silverwing's.

Stripeleaf:

She smiled and nuzzled her father.

Silverwing (Rainfall)

He sobered. "No, Stripeleaf, I'd be dead without you and Lightflame."

(Is Lightflame still just standing there? Where did he go?)

Grassroot:

She gave them a look, and lifted off and flew away to tend to other steeds.

Stripeleaf:

"Dad, you have to say, we'd be dead without her." She grinned.

Silverwing (Rainfall)

He rolled his eyes.

Stripeleaf:

She looked at Grassroot and nodded. She was sometimes hard to understand with her deep voice and odd way of talking.

Grassroot:

She covered him with her wing. "Don't stand. You need your rest." She looked at Stripeleaf and Cometcliff. "You make sure he gets his rest and eats a lot. He needs his energy."

Silverwing (Rainfall)

He tried to stand up, spitting out the paste.

Streamblaze (Mooncycle)

"You look very funny -- your mane is all in clumps." She ruffled her dark raspberry feathers, suddenly wishing she hadn't said anything.

Stripeleaf:

She nuzzled her little brother and put a wing over him.

Flamecloud:

She flew above her Herd, her eyes on the ground.

Streamblaze (Mooncycle):

She took in Ironcore's appearance -- dripping wet -- and giggled.

Silverwing (Rainfall):

He eyed Grassroot. She was great at healing stuff and all, but that paste smelled -- and tasted -- AWEFUL.

Cometcliff (Rainfall):

After Dapplestone and Forestheart left he cuddled up to his sister, watching Grassroot work on their father.

Forestheart,

He laughed softly, "yup,"

Forestheart,

He laughed, "but you are already SOAKED!"

Forestheart,

He chucked softly, "yeah. That works to," he grinned.

Forestheart,

He shook our his mane, and looked back at Dapplestone, "if you need a drink of water, there's a water system further back into the cave."

Forestheart,

he flicked his wings, and looked out the cave, at the pouring rain.

Grassroot:

She walked back to Silverwing with supplies in her wings. She rubbed dark yellow paste were Stripeleaf had bit him, fed him roots and bark, and rubbed smelly paste next to his nose. This made him gag and all the water that was left in his lungs spilled out.

Forestheart,

he shook some water off of his wings, and looked at Dapplestone, "Yeah," he nickered, "All this rain sucks,"

Forestheart,

They soon reached the cave, "In here," he nickered over the storm,

Forestheart,

He nodded, "Alright, I know a cave," he nickered, "Follow me,"

Forestheart,

He tuckd back in his wing, and searched his surroundings, "will an uninhabited cave work?" Je asked

Forestheart,

He looked back at Dapplestone, "want to find a more sheltered place?" He asked.

Forestheart,

He flicked his wings slightly, his hide drenched in water.

Forestheart

He looked away, feeling embarrassed by what his sister said.

Forestheart,

He looked over aT Dapplestone, "yup," he replied.
