Stormsong had agreed to take the black foal under her care along with her newborn, Snowberry. Snowberry was a gorgeous white filly with black spots and vibrant pink wings. Stormsong had been hesitante but agreed the black foal needed a mother. Stormsong had grown to adore the colt, even though he was not her own. The two foals had been nursing all day and finally had settled down to sleep.

That night, Stormsong was determined to find a name for the colt. The moon was epecially bright tonight. The moon glowed off of the colt’s shiny coat.

‘That’s it!’ she thought. Stormsong stared lovingly at Her colt.

”Moonfall.”
