"I'll go and find out what happened," whispered Stormwind to the three fillies and Summerglade. He took off and swooped over to where the warriors had just landed with the captured weanlings.
Ravensong was in no condition to talk to, so her four remaining friends spoke in whispers to each other. They also kept glancing toward Stormwind where he was speaking with a stallion that had been a part of the raiding party.
Soon, he turned and flew back to his friends. First, he kneeled down beside Ravensong. "Ravensong," he said softly, gently nudging her with his muzzle. "Ravensong," he started again with relief audible in his voice. "Your brother and the other pegasus are fine. They just went straight back to their patrols."
She heaved herself to her hooves quickly looking much calmer. "Who told you?" she questioned.
"The white stallion with the dark green wings over there," he replied pointing in the direction of the stallion with his wing.
"Oh, good!" Ravensong replied.
"Summerglade and I probably need to go because it's almost time for flight school to start. See you later!" Stormwind told them. Both colts flew off, but Stormwind kept glancing over his shoulder at the four fillies.
"Let's go meet the new weanlings!" exclaimed Thunderstone, who was always eager to make a new friend.
"Alright," answered Lakesky. The four fillies lifted off over the grass to where the two new weanlings were standing talking to Riverwing. They landed a little ways from them and waited for Riverwing to finish.
When he turned away they were able to get their first good look at the weanlings. One was a dark silver filly. Her coat was so dark that it looked almost brown. The other was a dapple gray colt who seemed a little cocky and had a playful but challenging glint in his eye. On the other hand, the filly seemed very quiet and shy. But what pegasus wouldn't be that way after they had just been captured by an enemy herd.
None of the fillies wanted to make the first move. Not even always-ready-to-make-a-friend Thunderstone. Luckily, Lakesky's dam, Echodance, landed next to them and prodded the fillies forward knowing that these foreign weanlings would want a friend or two in a strange herd because she had been captured from Mountain Herd when she was young.
"Hello," she said as she stepped forward. " I am Echodance. This is my filly Lakesky, and her friends Thunderstone, Moonstone and, Ravensong," she continued, gesturing to each one of them in turn.
"Hello," the fillies mumbled shyly. Thunderstone even ventured, "What are your names?"
"The colt answered,"I'm Sagefrost, and this is my twin sister Skydance."
Seeing that they were uncomfortable to get to know each other, Echodance offered to show the twins around. They kicked off and flew toward Big Sky Lake.
The fillies lifted off to retreat to the fallen log at the far end of the field, which was their favorite hangout.
When they were in the air, moonstone nudged Ravensong and whispered,"They did bring back a cute colt.
Ravensong just rolled her eyes and smiled to herself. "Who but Moonstone," she wondered,"Would care about a thing like that?
Thanks Cass
SO GOOD
Oh, I got it now

It looks like Moonstone has a crush on the Mountain Herd colt
But what does that have to do with love?
it's an expression and there are no shapes with only 2 sides, so triangle has 3 and it's the closest
Thanks! But how is it a love triangle?
Wait how is that a love triangle? AWESOME JOB THOUGH!
