Riverblaze sighed again and looked around, her eyes landing on a young mare and a handsome colt. She blushed and trotted over to them, and so did Stormsun.
“Hello,” she said, being bold. “I’m Riverblaze.”
The mare nodded. “I’m Sunpetal,” she said. “And this is Forestflame,” she gestured toward the colt, who was staring at Stormsun.
“Uh....yeah,” he said, turning away from Stormsun, and smiled at Riverblaze.
Stormsun blushed. “I’m Stormsun.” She nervously swished her tail.
Riverblaze bit her lip. “Stormtail....Stormwing....captured us...,” Riverblaze sputtered, “We were brought here.”
Sunpetal shook her head and rattled her yellow feathers. “That bratty Stormtail, capturing foals! Again! I can’t believe it!”
Stormsun cocked her head, “Are there others that have been captured?”
"The twins, Lightrain and Thunderstripe,” Forestflame answered, just as a dark silver filly and a brown colt trotted up to them.
“Hello, my dear,” said Sunpetal, and the silver filly smiled.
“That’s Thunderstripe,” Forestflame pointed at the brown colt. “And that’s Lightrain,” he said, nodding towards the dark silver filly.
“Oh! You were captured too?!” the silver filly gasped.
“We were,” Riverblaze sighed, “But we’re planning on escaping.”
“I don’t know how you’d be able too, but I’ll help,” the brown colt said, curling his lip.
“Oh my, well, you chat, I’ll be over there,” she said, trotting towards a small huddle of mares.
Stormsun watched her leave, then turned to the twins. “How long have you been captured?”
“Hm, ‘bout a week, I suppose,” Thunderstripe said. “It’s kind of hard to tell, it felt like an eternity!”
“Are family was out exploring, we were in the old Mountain Herd territory,” Lightrain said.
“My family was in the Jungle Herd lands when I was captured. I meet Riverblaze after she was captured, and that’s how we became friends,” Stromsun said.
Riverblaze smiled. “What are your parent’s names? I might know them.” Riverblaze said.
“Brackentail and Shadepebble,” Lightrain said.
