    Chapter 8- Smoke

    in FAN FICTON

Moon awoke to the smell of smoke, her eyes slowly fluttered open, then widened at the sighed around her, she was surrounded by flames, in the sky, most of the captains hovered high above the ground watching her, no them!

Moon let out a gasp as she realized the stallion, Darkheart stood before her, “is, is this a dream?” Moon whispered.

Darkheart shook his head, “No, it is indeed real,” he looked at Moon, with hatred, yet pity and kindness.

Moon glared at Darkheart, she didn’t truly know if he was good, or bad. “What are you doing here!” Moon shouted.

“I honestly don’t know,” he whispered. He pawed the ground with his hoof. Darkheart took off, and flew away, the captains in the air scurried away as he entered the air.

As soon as Darkheart left, the flames surrounding her, vanished.

The Over-stallion, Aspenwing, landed near Moon. “Do you know what all that was about?” He asked, his voice was stern, yet kind.

Moon shook her head, “No sir, I don’t know.” She nickered.

“Let me know if you figure out anything else,” Aspenwing nickered, then he flew off to talk to his mate.

Moon trotted off, no one stopped her. Moon stopped by the lake, and submerged herself, letting the smoke smell come off of her.

As Moon exited the lake, she was met with the familiar pure white hooves’ mane and tail, she looked up, Darkheart was taller than her but not by much.

“Hey,” he whispered, Darkheart looked at her, “We need to talk, meet me here, tonight when the moon is at it’s peak,” then Darkheart flew off.
