Drawing tip: Nothing says you have to make them look realistic. Yes, you do want to make them as identifiable as a what ever your drawing, but also, if you are having a hard time drawing a specific thing (eye shapes, noses, hands, ect.), there are almost unlimited alternatives to drawing those. For instance, I have a hard time with drawing hands, so when I started working on figuring out my style for drawing humanoids, the work around I used was drawing hands like mittens with separated fingers as necessary.
like the others said, use reference pics I like to start with simple steps and shapes for the face. a flat U shape for the nose and a line for the mouth... Do you want me to make like a step by step on what i do? when drawing humans? if not i can try to just explain it.
REFERENCE. Oh, and if something is to hard, try a different reference pic to get other details in that are easier. I actually drew a human (Storm as a human) and I'ma color her soon XD
I suggest shading I you want it to look very realistic and picures for referreness.
