"Patchfeather, that's ridiculous!" exclaimed Dragonfrost, "Even if it was true, where's your proof?"

"Look Dragonfrost, I went back to the stream where the grizzly attacked us, I found a light blue feather." explained Patchfeather.

"Half of Snow Herd has light blue feathers, even Icewing!" argued Dragonfrost.

"Well, Smokemoon said none of the pegasi on the search party had blue feathers!"

"Patchfeather, it's been weeks since the attack, any pegasus could have landed there to get a drink!"

"Well...Coldfire wasn't with the herd when we were attacked!"

"Petalcloud lead mare of snow herd, told he to do something!"

Patchfeather was trying to come up with something clever to say to Dragonfrost, when Smokemoon whispered "Shhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pineberry's coming back."

Pineberry landed in front of them "Haven't moved, I see." she said.

"How's Sunnyglow?" asked Dragonfrost

"She and her foal are doing great." said Pineberry, "How about you guys go and see them."

"Okay," said Dragonfrost, he started walking in the direction Pineberry had come form. Patchfeather and Smokemoon fallowed him on hoof.

"Why are you defending Coldfire?" Patchfeather whispered.

"Why are you being annoying?" retorted Dragonfrost.

They walked in an awkward silence the rest of the way to Sunnyglow. Dragonfrost, Patchfeather, and Smokemoon, arrived just in time to see the foal stand in it's small wobbly legs and spread it's tiny pale purple wings for the first time.

"Isn't she just the most perfect thing you've ever seen?" asked Sunnyglow, her eyes shown with pride.

The little filly walked over to Dragonfrost on her wobbly legs, she looked up at him with her big bright eyes, Dragonfrost bent down so he was at her height, "Hi there." he said, and his voice shook a little.

"What's her name?" asked Smokemoon.

"I was thinking Pebblefrost," said Sunnyglow, "What do you guys think?"

Patchfeather looked at the filly, she light blue roan appaloosa, with pale purple wings, "I think that's the perfect name for her." said Patchfeather.

"Hi Pebblefrost." said Dragonfrost.

Coldfire landed, "Is this my colt?" he said.

Sunnyglow looked at him, "Coldfire meet you new filly, Pebblefrost."

Coldfire stared at Pebblefrost, shocked. "There must be some mistake, I have to find Pineberry, she must have given us the wrong foal." he said, then he flew away.

Dragonfrost nuzzled Pebblefrost, "Nothing's wrong with you, Coldfire just really wanted you to be a colt."

But Pebblefrost wasn't paying attention, she was watching a dragonfly buzz around in the air. Pebblefrost flapped her wings so she could fallow it, but she lost her balance, and fell to the ground with a thud. Pebblefrost looked up at Dragonfrost for approval, but then the dragonfly landed on her nose, Pebblefrost shook her head trying to get it off. Then everyone laughed at the little filly.
