She set off digging and tasting for herbs.

Goldenroot:

She raced off to gather herbs

Aspenleaf:

She lsited to Goldenroot all of the herbs they'll possibly need.

(GAHHH SKYSUN I FOUND THE PERFECT REFERENCE PIC FOR SKystorm and Rainfeather!!! I"m still looking for one for Skysun and Moonsky)

Skystorm:

He was so very tired. He coughed again.

Goldenroot:

"Got it." She said following Aspenleaf

Aspenleaf:

She trotted over to Goldenroot. "Ashfire isn't here right now, we need to gather all of the herbs we need before she gets back." She nickered.

Skysun:

She was crying in joy, "Skystorm, you're awake!" She nickered joyfully.

SKystorm:

"Mama." He said

Skysun:

She looked at her son in her wings, "Skystorm!" She nickered in joyful shock, nuzzling him.

Aspenleaf:

"Of course, I'll ask Goldenroot for help, too." She nickered.

Skystorm:

He slowly opened his eyes, "Mama?" He coughed out

Crystalroot:

"Can you? I need to stay here with SKystorm and keep an eye on him." She said

Aspenleaf:

She looked over to Ashfire leading Moonsky to Rivercloud. "We ought to leave as soon as possible," She said. "I don't think they will be very happy with me insisting we stay until the foals get better. I"m going to gather more herbs while Ashfire isn't here." SHe trotted over to Crystalroot. "Ashfire isn't watching us right now, we should gather all the herbs we need while she isn't here."

Skystorm:

He felt a pull toward the trap

Skysun:

She nods, "You're welcome, Aspenleaf." She nickered.

Aspenleaf:

She trotted over to Skysun and Lilyblaze. "Thank you," She nickered to Skysun, nuzzling Lilyblaze.

Moonsky:

He followed Ashfire

Ashfire:

She snarled, rolling her eyes, "FINE! Follow me." She hissed.

Aspenleaf:

She flicked her ears, pleased that she had thrown Ashfire off guard..

Moonsky:

"To speak to Rivercloud." He repeated.

Ashfire:

She arched her neck, obviously flustered, "You...you...UGH!" Glancing at Moonsky, she growled, "WHAT do you want?" She asked.

Aspenleaf:

She calmly stepped back from Ashfire. "Would you like some calming herbs?" She asked in a calm tone. "You seem very tense."

Moonsky:

He ran to Aspenleaf's side. "I would like to speak with Rivercloud." He said

Ashfire:

She snarled, "No WAY!" She hissed, getting in Aspenleaf's face, "You can use the herbs you find AFTER we leave Western Anok!" She snapped, "And unless you want me to TELL Rivercloud that you are DISOBEYING a DIRECT order! I would get your foal and LEAVE on threat of Starfire in your face!" She growled.

Aspenleaf:

"Well, we are not leaving until ALL the foals are healthy enough to safely do so, and if I remember correctly, you told Crystalroot that she couldn't use the roots on this land. So, in order to compromise, you either allow us to use the herbs on this land and get us off of your land faster, or allow us to stay here longer and have us go into the trap to search for herbs." She said calmly, ruffling then refolding her wings.

Rainfeather:

She whimpered, looking up at her father with tear filled eyes, "No...no weave me!" She sobbed.

Ashfire:

She lifted her nose, "I don't CARE what happens to the foals of your herd!" She snarled, "All I care about is getting YOU off OUR Territory!"

Aspenleaf:

"Even if doing as she says could quite possibly kill an innocent foal?" She asked, cocking her head.

Moonsky:

"I have to go Rainfeather, I'm sorry." He said

Ashfire:

She snorted, "You will do as Rivercloud, the LEADER of Night Herd, the land you are currently STANDING on, says." She snarled.

Rainfeather:

"Bu, Papa!! I no wanna weave ou!" She cried.

Moonsky:

"Not this time Rainfeather."

Aspenleaf:

She pinned her ears at Ashfire, and folded her wings at her sides.

Rainfeather:

"Papa! I wanna come wit ou!" She nickered, looking at Lilyblaze, "I fine..." She murmured.

Lilyblaze:

She bent her head down to sniff Rainfeather. "Ou ok?" She bleated.

Moonsky:

"I have to go Rainfeather, I'll be right back."

Rainfeather:

She tried to scramble to her hooves to follow her father, but her legs weren't yet strong enough to support her and she fell. Trying again, she just fell again. After a few failed attempts, she cried out, "Papa! No weave me!" She cried out.

Moonsky:

"Oh now. Lilyblaze, Rainfeather, stay with Skysun." He said setting Rainfeather down

Lilyblaze:

She trembled. "M-Mama tawking to scawy mawe," She said softly.

("Mama talking to scary mare,")

Rainfeather:

Peeking over her father's wing, she smiles brightly, "Wiwybwaze!" She squealed happily.

Moonsky:

"Hey Lilyblaze!" He said

Aspenleaf:

"yes, I did." She said simply. "But that does not mean I agree with it, or that I will obey it. We need to get these foals healthy again in order to leave." She made sure Lilyblaze was behind her wings. "Go to Skysun and Moonsky," She whispered.

Lilyblaze:

She tremebled, but obeyed her mother and cantered to Skysun and Moonsky.

Ashfire:

She stomps her hooves, "NO! YOU HEARD RIVERCLOUD!"

Aspenleaf:

She pinned her ears. "These foals are injured. We will take as long as we need in order for them to get back to good health, THEN we will leave." She said firmly.

Ashfire:

She snarled, "We need to get MOVING, no waiting!" She snapped.

Crystalroot:

"Good!" She said

Aspenleaf:

She threw her head up, hearing Lilyblaze, and cantered over. She pressed herself between Ashfire and her daughter, putting her wings protectively in front of of Lilyblaze. "What do you think you're doing?" She demanded.

Lilyblaze:

SHe woke up, groggily, thinking it was one of her friends wanting to play. She squealed in fear, eeing the strange mare. "MAMA!"

Ashfire:

Trotting over to Lilyblaze, she prodded her harshly, "Up! We need to keep moving!"

Lilyblaze:

She laid her head down on the ground and fell asleep, coughing slightly still.

Rainfeather:

She giggled, "I feew bettew! I think..." She nickered with a bright smile, falling into a cough.

Crystalroot:

"Of course." She said walking over to Rainfeather. "How are you feeling Rainfeather?" She asked

Skysun:

She sighed, "Thank you, Crystalroot..." She murmured, "Do you mind checking up on Rainfeather?" She asked.

Aspenleaf:

"Get some rest," SHe nickered to Lilyblaze. "I"m going to help Crystalroot."

Lilyblaze:

She nodded and lay down, tired.

Aspenleaf:

She trusted Lilyblaze would be safe with her herdmates close by, and trotted over to help Crystalroot. "What can I do?" She nickered.

Moonsky:

He hoped that Rainfeather would get all the way better.

Crystalroot:

She gave Skystorm the herbs that she thought might help with his breathing. His breathing was slightly easier and she sighed, "I think he'll live."

Rainfeather:

She fluffed her wings, squealing excitedly before falling into a coughing fit.

Snowstone:

He nickered, and flared his wings, hovering slightly off the ground.

Moonsky:

"Yes he is."

Skystorm:

He climped on Snowstone's back, "Yay! I bwng shiney twing tw swssy!" (I bring shiney thing to sissy)

Lilyblaze:

She finished nursing, and sneezed.

Snowstone:

"Climb up on my back, let's see how close we can get to reaching the stars," He nickered to Skystorm.

Rainfeather:

She pricked her ears, "He is?" She asked.

Sparkwind:

He shook his head, "Nw."

Moonsky:

"He's getting better too." He said

He hid behind Adderfire

He nods, "Yes, Winterwood." He nickered.

Rainfeather:

"I gettin bettew?" She asked, coughing again.

"Yes ma'am." She said running back to Skystorm.

Moonsky:

"That means you're getting better."

Ashfire:

Narrowing her eyes, she stepped aside, "Fine, but NO more herbs from Night Herd Territory!" She snapped.

Rainfeather:

"I stiww cowd, Papa...bu I no wonger feew wike I fwoating!"

Crystalroot:

"Please! It's my job to save the foal!" She begged.

Winterwood:

"H he's m my foal?"

Moonsky:

"Yes you do!" He said, happy that Rainfeather seemed like she was feeling better

Rainfeather:

"Whee!" She squealed, "I get cawwied by Papa!" She said excitedly.

Adderfire:

She flicked her ear, "Feathersky...and yours..." He nickered.

Ashfire:

"And I care....why?"

Winterwood:

He woke up, "So who's foal is that again?" He asked

Moonsky:

He picked up Rainfeather in his wings again

Crystalroot:

"He might die without the herbs!" She said

Skysun:

She picked her son up in her wings, "We should catch up with the herd." She nickered softly.

Ashfire:

She snarled, "Those are NIGHT HERD herbs!" She hissed.

Crystalroot:

"I'm a medicine mare I was getting the herbs I needed to save the life of one of the foals. Riversun told me to take care of them myself."

Ashfire:

Blocking Crystalroot, she snarled, "What do YOU think you're doing?" She hissed.

Moonsky:

"I'm sorry that you're cold." He said.

Crystalroot:

She found the mint leaves she needed and the other herbs, she held onto them as she raced back to the herd

Rainfeather:

"I stiww cowd." She nickered.

Skysun:

She looked at her son in shock, "He moved!" She nickered.

Ashfire:

She snarled, racing after Crystalroot.

Maplethorn:

"Ashfire! That mare is escaping!" She called, she had followed the others

Moonsky:

He hugged Rainfeather again

Rainfeather:

"No! No stop huggin!" She nickered, looking at her father with wide innocent eyes.

Moonsky:

He stepped back, "Sorry Rainfeather."

Crystalroot:

She saw that Skystorm was barely breathing. "Oh no." She raced away from the herd, not caring if anyone chased her, she had to get mint leaves and other herbs to help Skystorm

Rainfeather:

She giggled, "Papa! Ou squishin me!" She nickered.

Moonsky:

He hugged Rainfeather

Rainfeather:

She coughed out, sniffing in annoyance. She didn't' seem to be affected as terribly as the other foals though.
