@LionSpark you can ask me the question)
Espen:
"I mean, well, I don't know. I just hope there isn't," he replied, paddling to the shallower part of the pond.
Bhearit:
He thought for a long while before actually answering. If he was truly honest, he never really did accomplish any invention that worked. This is why he hoped that the new big project was successful this time.
"Well, I have tried to make an automatic clothesline; you don't need to go out and unclip them, all you need to do is crank a lever and they'll come in through you window," he replied finally with an unenthusiastic shrug. "Didn't do too well in the selling though."
Bhearit mostly got his pay through fixing roofs and broken wagons, but he hoped that that would change as soon as he showed his new invention.
Ulrani:
She rubbed her chin thoughtfully. "So, they speak like we do?" she mused, looking impressed. "I would be glad to meet their doctor."
Callum:
He smiled to himself, looking down with his hands clasped behind his back.

Alrighty! I posted part 35 so go ahead and go there!)
(Y'all, I'm gonna make a new part!)
Jocelyn grinned. "I do like crepes." She trotted after Govind to Avery.
Govind: "It's just a food they like to eat here. It's basically a crepe," he explained simply, not wanting to compound Jocelyn's embarrassment.
He trotted past Avery. "Me and Jocelyn are going out for dosas. Do you want to come too?"
Jocelyn tipped her head. "We should invite Avery, but what's a dosa?" She asked. Her face turned bright red in embarrassment. Was it something important? Would anyone be mad if she didn't know what a dosa was?
Jocelyn nodded eagerly. “Okay!” She excitedly pushed up her glasses, making her way off the stage.
Wolfe thrummed his fingers on the table. “You know, maybe I’ll go ask.” He got up from the table, and went to go sit over at the bar counter. He waited patiently while also keeping a close eye on Ollie.
(Poor Ollie, still upset about finding the dead body 🥲)
Jocelyn shrugged. "I don't know. Whatever I feel like probably. So . . . maybe practicing together is the best way to go?" She smiled as her fingers gently stroked the mandolin's smooth features. "My parents are going to be here in two days though, so maybe they can watch us? If you don't mind of course."
Fig: ”Whichever one I happen to be eating at the moment,” he said, taking a few of the other eggs on to his plate and sitting down next to one of the glasses of orange juice. “There’s also bread at the center of the table if you want it,” he said, before chowing down.
Reba: She moved on from her piece of fruit, eating some of the cheese and bread and then more fruit. Both of her hands were red, so she could not care less about Sultaan’s calluses. But he hadn’t said anything, so she did not know.
Yoske: He raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. That blood had to have been from somewhere, even if it was very old. And one didn’t usually become a captain in Johirestown by never dirtying their sword.
“Um, well here’s a cloth and a whetstone for it, then,” he offered.
Kilroy: “I’ve lived with my mother a long time. I know what she can and cannot do… I don’t think she can help you either.” And though it wasn’t true, he couldn’t help but bitterly wonder if Romie was the sort of son Lily would have preferre, athletic and reverent and handsome.
Govind: “Great! What are your plans for the next two days?“ They needed ample time to rehearse, but it would also be important to rest and calm down after tonight.
Jocelyn was taken back by his enthusiasm, but eventually nodded. “Yeah. Okay, sounds fun.” She smiled
Govind: He nodded. “Well, how would you like the opportunity of a life time? I’m performing tomorrow, but I need an accompanist. I know we’ve never worked together before, but you’ve shown a lot of skill at coordinating your own music with your own movements! Do you think you could play mandolin for me?!?”
Colchi: He settled next to his friend. He wanted to treat Bhearit since having lunch at his house, but this might not be the right time, with Kavani buying fruit for him and all. Getting on her bad side was the last thing he wanted to do… and maybe he was on it all ready. As Ben spoke of her kindness with the fruit, he bit back a frown. Kavani didn’t have to judge him based on his hometown, either. And though he knew it wasn’t fair to make this sort of judgment, it almost seemed like she would only let her brother talk with the fair skinned stranger, not the dark foreign one. “Thanks for the bagel!“ he called after Ben. He liked bagels a lot, he would get them as a special treat at home from a peddler, all covered in lox and cream cheese.
(I’ll do the rest later.)
Romie:
”I never said that you were a pig?” He didn’t understand what Kilroy meant by that, but shrugged it off. “Either way, your mother will know how to help you. She seems like a very nice person.” He felt a pierce of longing, but for what, he didn’t know.
Lemonade
He looked towards a menu and his brows furrowed in concentration as he tried to read it. A few words he recognized, some were a bit foreign to him. "Ok...what is your favorite breakfast food?" Not just a cinnamon roll...and his eyes had to stay smaller than his stomach. How hard could that be?
Jasper
He decided to look around the place, sort of get a feel for it. Maybe this wasn't his place after all? He supposed his tree might be missing him by now and maybe he should just head back? He didn't really want to though...Ben, Sultaan, and Reba had been so kind to him and he hated to admit it, but he had missed interacting with other people, even if he felt very uncomfortable doing so.
He hard noticed the fact that his fingers were once again playing with the straps of his sling.
Ben:
He flicked an ear up at Bhearit, hearing his confusion, but didn't meet his gaze. He set waters down in front of Colchi and Kollin, even if they didn't order them, then brought a cup of water to Bhearit. "The fruit is from Kavani." He replied softly as he set the water down next to Bhearit. "If I may," He quickly glanced over his shoulder at the blonde battle mare, who sat serenely, even if her facial features were cold.
"She's not all stone and sword. I'm not here to lecture you or to pry in your business- I didn't know you two were even acquainted- but I'm just saying this; she didn't have to buy you that bowl of fruit, while she only ordered water for herself."
Ben offered Bhearit a small smile before turning back to the counter. His smile widened as he faced Rayla and his ears and cheeks turned red again.
(Cole was allowed to come backstage with Avery when she entered the show. He would have watched from the side, instead of sitting in the audience. If you wanted him to sit in the audience, I can change it though! Perhaps, to get a better view, he came into the crowd after she was admitted or something, but it's up to you!
And yesssss!! This is Rachel Hardy-Avery's brunette doppelgänger XDD. She has a very pure and youthful voice with amazing breath support.)
Bhearit:
He flicked his ears forward and frowned in confusion; he never ordered fruit. "Uh-" he watched Ben leave.
And then he looked up and spotted Kavani looking at him. He couldn't tell what exactly she was thinking, due to her expression. But she seemed grumpy as usual.
Bhearit sighed and began to munch on his breakfast. (That's all I can do for now. GTG)
Jocelyn turned pink from her ear tips to under her eyes. "Aw, thanks so much." She smiled, and rubbed her arm holding her mondolin.
Wolfe looked around while Ollie had her head on the table, and he just pat her not knowing what to do. "It's okay, we'll eat, and then do something else." He tried calming her
Ben:
He began setting plates down and passing out everyone’s order. A steaming pile of chocolate and banana pancakes plopped down in front of Kollin- no surprise there. The colt was practically beaming with delight as Kavani helped him cut the pancakes into child-friendly bites. For Colchi, since the order was so vague, Ben prepared scrambled eggs with a buttery bagel. And he finally made his way to Bhearit and placed the bread and freshly sliced cheese on his table, followed by the bowl of assorted fruit. Ben returned to the bar once everyone had their respected meals. Kavani was the first to move and swiftly placed the coins on the counter without a word. The fact that Bhearit chose to sit at a separate table didn’t go unnoticed and the blonde mare couldn’t help but feel guilty. With low brows and a taut expression, she ran a hand through her tangled hair.
(oops sorry! Forgot Avery)
Avery:
“Oh, I’m sure you’ll get more spectators when you play. The crowd adored you,” She said sweetly to Jocelyn with a gentle hand on her shoulder. She kept one ear trained on Govind and Jocelyn, but couldn’t help but look around for her tall, chiseled companion. She hasn’t seen Cole since before she performed and Avery yearned to know how he thought of it.
Sophie yawned and stretched as she got up. She left her hair unkept and messy like normal, and changed into her white blouse from earlier. If she wanted to train harder, she should at least practice by herself before training. She sighed as she ate a small meal consisting of scrambled eggs and sausage, and grabbed a wooden pole from outside. It leaned against the house, and she hadn’t sand it down yet. “Well, splinters are tough love.” She muttered to herself before picking it up. She wouldn’t complain, no Matter how bad it was. “I’ll just use the medical kit when I‘m done.” She picked up the wooden stick, twirled it between her hands. “Alright. Let’s get to work.”
Bhearit:
"Aye, of course," he replied, giving a small, slightly disappointed smile. Bhearit moved over to a nearby table and settled down before it, watching the others. His order shouldn't be too long or too hard for Ben. It was he could afford without overspending.
He pulled out his little coin sack and took out the price needed to pay for his breakfast.
(Fig, the last thing you should do is judging someone else by what kind of egg that they like XDDDD)
Espen:
He raised his eyebrows at the many different preparations of eggs. "Wow, Mr. Fig, you did a lot," he said. "I'm not even sure what to pick." Hmm, which was his least favorite or the most inconvenient to eat?
Espen drummed his horse shoulder in thought. He liked scrambled eggs, but only the way his Aunt would make them. He didn't mind boiled eggs, just as long as he had salt to dip them into.
Finally, he put a fried egg on his plate and looked up at Fig. "What's your favorite?"
Sultaan:
He glanced at Reba for a moment and then bit into his piece of cheese. Sultaan silently studied his left hand, noticing how rough and callused his palm and fingers were. He wondered what Reba thought whenever she touched his hands.
Sultaan frowned softly and hid a smile. Sometimes his thoughts made no sense.
Callum:
He chuckled softly. "Can't remember the last time I used my sword on anyone," he admitted. "I've fought with it, sure, but I never actually struck my opponent."
The ex-captain's mind wandered back to when he fought Opalla, even as he followed Yoske to the weaponry room.
That mare had mortally wounded him, but his and Hawkfire's fight was the last push to Callum's real death. He remembered only bits and pieces of that time after he tumbled down the mountain with the pegasus- Fawnroot's urges to get Callum back inside the cave and desperate attempts to keep him with her.
He shook his head and focused on the things around him.
"Very nice, Yoske," Callum commented, however his voice was flat, as though unable to keep up with enthusiastic emotions.
Eira:
" I said that you can have anything you want from the menu, however it must depend on what you choose to order. For example, just having a cinnamon roll will not do," she replied, smoothing Lehman's hair. "And don't let your eyes be larger than your stomach."
Ollie sighed, putting her hands on her forehead. “I messed up, Wolfe. I really did.” She whispered softly. Wolfe rubbed her back. “Hey, your just a kid. I’m sorry I didn’t know about the house earlier.” Ollie groaned and put her head on the table. Wolfe tried to think of other ways to cheer her up, because right now, this was not helping so far. He sighed.
Jocelyn shifted her mandolin. “Well, yeah, but my parents should be back in a few days…” she thought about his request. “But… maybe that would be nice.” she smiled.
(I’ve been thinking about the structure of Johirestown’s military, and I have some ideas for how it might function. What do you all think?
-There are two corps of soldiers:
~Those who guard for Johirestown full time, live in the barracks, and take care of policing. This would include Reiyzl, Yoske, and Oyzer. They could be called regulars.
~Those who guard part or most of the time, mostly due to family commitments, live outside the barracks. This would include Kavani, Kelly, and Bennet. They could be called irregulars.
~Both groups can receive mission assignments and fight in battles.
-Fig trains both groups of soldiers. Bjorn is in command of all the soldiers together, but Fig has command over the regulars alone. Because the regulars are more often available, Fig tends to have more influence over the military.
-Bjorn and Fig have the title of general. Within the regulars, there is likely one captain. Within the irregulars, there may be a few more. The generals give orders to the captains.)
@LionSpark Govind: First a little money on the side when her parents aren't around, but soon more and more... "So you're looking for opportunities to perform?" he solicited.
Colchi: He finished coughing and swallowed hard, bringing his eyes back up again to catch Bhearit’s. “I just mean that… inventing and engineering can be a big commitment. Sometimes it doesn’t leave time for much else. But you love it so much you keep going back to it, and when you’re doing other things, your mind just wanders back to it over and over…” His eyes glazed over and he subconsciously rubbed the pocket where his notebook was.
“And I’d love to join you today, but I’m very tired… I need to rest. Maybe you should too,” he said, a smile forming behind his eyes. “But when you have a chance, would you look at my trap design?” He took the notebook from his pocket, ripped a page out, and folded it.
Then he trotted over to Ben, excited to see what he thought a healthy breakfast was.
Fig: He poured two cups full of orange juice and waited for Espen to peruse the selection. Could you tell what sort of a centaur someone was by their choice in eggs?
Reba: She nodded, turning away for a moment to murmur a few liturgical phrases. Today she wanted to sell the fabric, so she prayed to the god of commerce to continue its aid. Then she returned back to the table with Sultaan.
She began eating a piece of fruit, enjoying it sweet taste in the morning.
Yoske: “Callum,” he scolded. “You need to clean your sword each time you dirty it. It’s like not washing a cooking knife after you’ve used it to cut raw meat, then using it to cut a watermelon!” Yoske made a face. Then he led Callum into a large but mostly spare room. Inside were a couple stocks of different weapons and plenty of cloths and whetstones, along with some armor.
Lemonade
He smiled, "what exceptions?" He didn't really care. He didnt need anything that was overly extravagant or extraordinary. It would fill him up even if it were just a stick of butter, though that may leave the young colt feeling a bit sick.
Jasper
There was a lot going on in the Tavern, so he settled with trying to hear parts of the conversations. His brain seemed to be elsewhere as he was nervous to even begin working here. He knew Ben had offered, but he wasnt so sure about such a job for himself. He could only use one arm properly...
Maybe if he just watched Ben work with them, he'd learn by watching and know exactly what to do.
(Sorry XD! Been a bit busy so keeping up with who is in the Tavern and interacting with who has been a bit hard. I shall pay more attention from here on out. Or at least try to :)
Wolfe relied on Ollie to guide him through the tavern, until she stopped by a table and sat down, Wolfe sitting across from her. “You want to tell me in specific what you saw at that old house?” He asked raising an eye brow
Kavani:
An ear flicked behind her at the sound of Bhearit’s voice. “Bread and cheese…? That’s all he’s having?” She frowned to herself and fingered the coin purse on her hip. She’d get paid again next week. Looking up at the still flustered Ben, she tapped the bar to get his attention. “Add some fruit to Bhearit’s order.” She said to Ben quietly. “I’ll cover it.” The Tavern owner swallowed and nodded at both Kavani and Bhearit. His ears and cheeks were still red as he helped Kollin climb off his back, and the little centaur went back to Kavani’s side. Ben retreated into the kitchen to get started on the food. He came back a few minutes later with drinks and food, still blushing. “Breakfast is served.” He mumbled loud enough for the two scientists in the back to hear.
Ollie looked up as the building came into view. “It’s there.” She pointed. Wolfe nodded. “Come on, let’s get some food.” He smiled as his young friend looked through her bag. “I don’t have a lot of money.” She said quietly, but Wolfe shrugged. “I‘ll use mine that I earned from my neighbor.” He split it up with Ollie, and opened the door.
Eira:
"I don't know," she replied, feeling surprised the colt would ask her. Maybe he didn't know that she was a foreigner to Johirestown. "Come, you may get whatever you want- with some exceptions."
Espen:
He nodded and got up, stretching. He yawned. "Sounds good to me, Mr. Fig," the colt replied, stepping out of the room.
Sultaan:
He set Reba's plate before her and settled down before her on the opposite of the table with his.
He was just about to begin eating when he remembered the mare's culture. "Would you like to pray?" he signed, looking at Reba. He wondered how long she would have to stay in Anok, and how many more times she would forget to pray before eating. Especially when Sultaan wouldn't always be around to respect her religion. Once Reba had her foal, where would she go? She couldn't possibly stay with him, it was hard enough to scrape by for the two of them.
Sultaan sighed softly. He didn't want to think about such things yet.
Bhearit:
He smiled, unsure of Colchi meant by his invention being the jealous lover. The redhead looked over at Ben. "Um, could I get cheese and..." he fingered his money pouch, trying to guess how much he could spend at the moment without wasting his money. "-bread please," he finished. He wasn't usually the hungry type when it came to breakfast. "Add water on my order! Thanks Ben."
Bhearit turned back to Colchi. "Listen, I'll make up for my absence yesterday: you and I could head back to my place and start working on the washing machine- no distractions." He paused a moment.
"And what do you mean by jealous lover?"
Callum:
He hadn't thought of his sword in quite a long time. He withdrew it from its sheath. The steel was stained with old blood and the tip was dull.
"Uh, yeah, it's been needing attention for quite awhile actually," he replied, gingerly sheathing it again.
Wolfe guided his young friend out of his house, holding her hand to comfort Ollie. “So, where is the tavern?” Ollie pointed.
”In town.” She said quietly. Wolfe couldn’t bare his once playful and energetic friend like this. “You need some pancakes or something. You’ll feel better.”
Ben:
"I'll see what I can do, Colchi." He nodded with a chuckle underneath his breath. He saw Rayla appear out of the corner of his eye and as he turned to face her, his ears and cheeks instantly flushed pink. "Ah, Rayla, love. I don't think you've met Kavani and Kollin." Kavani sat up a little straighter at the sight of the councilor and dipped her head respectfully. "Councillor Rayla," She greeted gently, her green eyes downcast.
Ben motioned to the siblings, "This is Kavani- a battle mare and trainee of Fig. And this is her younger brother," At that moment, Kollin's head popped out from behind Ben. The colt grinned at Rayla. "I'm Kollin! Thats with a K and not a C."
The young colt waved eagerly. "I've never met a council person before, except Mr. Figmos." Kollin quickly glanced from Ben to Rayla. "Are you and Benjamin dating?"
Ben, completely unprepared for Kollin's sudden and incredibly out-of-the-blue question, practically choked on the water he'd been sipping. He coughed into his sleeve and gulped.
Kavani had to cover her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing.
Wolfe looked at Ollie as she sat quietly in his room. He had let her stay with him from the day before, her nerves pricking her pelt like the little bloodsuckers, mosquitoes. Wolfe rubbed her back as she sat down, her eyes darting around nervously as they chased some invisible mouse. "Come on, Ollie. You have to tell me what happened." Wolfe coaxed.
"I told you already." Ollie croaked. "I found somebody's corpse in the house you tole me about."
Wolfe looked at her, knowing his young friend was upset. "How about some breakfast, yeah? We can go out looking for food, or we can stay here, and I can try not to burn the house down."
Ollie sat quietly. "Ben's would be nice." She whispered softly. Wolfe looked around, not knowing how to reply, but he nodded.
"Okay. We can have breakfast at . . . uh . . ." Wolfe looked to Ollie helplessly.
Ollie smiled softly. "The tavern." Wolfe nodded, and helped her up.
"To the tavern then."
@Riverbreeze(phone) (Lets give @Rising Breeze two more weeks, then move on.)
Fig: “Okie dokie. I hope you like eggs…” he said. After he and Lily had divorced, he had gotten used to cooking for himself, though he mostly made spruced up marching foods. And lots of eggs.
He took Espen into the kitchen. “Pick which eggs you want. I also have orange juice and eggs from the market.”
Reba: Pink Boy, she thought to herself as Sultaan’s dappled cheeks bloomed into a blush. She glanced over at what he was putting together. The same foods she would have eaten for breakfast a year ago, except the bread was fluffy instead of flat, the cheese was hard instead of soft, and the fruits were fresh rather than dried. Also, she was so, so much hungrier. She got down in front of the table excitedly.
Colchi: “It’s ok… I’ve been working on a new animal trap, but I left in behind in Irich—“ he said, before cutting off abruptly when he saw a blush reddening Bhearit’s cheeks.
He snickered - because laughing would make him cough. “I’m not the jealous lover you need to worry about. That’s your washing machine.”
“I like something healthy and well rounded please! And… not too big?” he called over to Ben, wondering how his breakfasts were. He shouldn’t have raised his voice, though- it made him cough.
Yoske: “No problem,” he said. Oyzer took the dishes as he was stuck doing them, since he had been dismissed from all of his other duties.
“Fig should be here soon, but in the meantime, would you like to see some of our weapon stores? Does your sword need attention?
Kilroy: Hd clenched his teeth together, not in the mood to be touched by a man who had been making physical threats to him moments earlier. “I’m not a pig. I don’t need food to motivate me.”
As for mental sickness, that was clearly Romie’s issue - he was letting past trauma rule over him.
Rayla
she peeked her head out of the kitchen and watched Ben and Kollin, smiling. he’d be such a good dad…
Romie:
He felt a heavy weight sinking into his stomach as he saw how cold Kilroy looked now. Had the pegasi cast some sort of hypnosis spell on him? This was very bad.
He tried a warmer approach to rival Kilroy’s coldness and set his arm on the stallion’s shoulder. “After a few helpings of your mother’s cooking, you will feel much better. All of this sickness will be gone from your mind.”
Ben:
He walked behind the bar and grabbed a piece of paper and pen. “So what can I get you?” Kollin tugged gently on Ben’s jacket. Ben momentarily forgot that the young centaur was still laying on his back and the Tavern-owner looked behind him and raised a questioning brow. “I’ll have the usual!” Kollin said with a contagious grin that caused Ben’s smile to spread wider. “You got it,” and patted his head.
He looked back to Kavani, who sat down at the bar and rested her head in the palm of her hand. “Just a water.” She mumbled as she kept her eyes down, ignoring Ben’s concerned stare. The Irichman grunted then said something in Irich, then looked up at the two other centaurs.
“Oi! Bhearit, Colchi! Would yah like anything to eat or would you like to keep standing in a corner?” He teased and waved his quill in the air. (if it’s not obvious, Kavani and Kollin come to the Tavern a lot and are some of Ben’s regular customers.)
Lemonade
The smell of food and the other centaurs distracted him from worrying about the other centaur for the tume being. "Is this place usually busy?" He asked in a whisper.
(Did anything happen with Jasper that I may have missed?)
(Not a whole lot- we skipped till the morning with everyone. Ben is out greeting Kavani and Kollin in the Tavern. Kollin eagerly started climbing on Ben and standing on his back. Ben‘s now carrying Kollin around the TaVern (basically giving his a piggyback ride) Kollin and Kavani are friends of Ben and visit the Tavern often. Other than that, I’m not sure you missed much)
(What did I miss? sorry for my absence, I've been busy and stressed with the move)
Eira:
She smiled as they descended down into the dining room. "It's going to be okay, darling. Don't fret. It's not your fault."
She looked at the few centaurs standing around. "And besides, it was very wise of you to immediately run and get help, instead of taking things into your own hands. I'm certain that she's at the doctor right now being cared for."
(Oh boy, here goes)
Cole:
He shifted his weight from one hoof to another as he waited for Avery to return to tell him how it went. (:P)
Callum:
Eventually, having taken his time, the ex-captain rose from his table with his bowl to go return it to Yoske, or to whomever had the job of dishes.
He approached the cook and smiled. "Very good, Yoske, thank you," he said.
Espen:
"I'm hungry," he said groggily, rubbing his eyes as he sat up. He blinked at Fig and smiled.
Sultaan:
He smiled widely in his silent laughter. "Sure. Although, I'm not certain it would catch on. Reba's a prettier name," he signed, and his cheeks shaded over with a light pink.
Sultaan turned toward the counter again and began to prepare a light breakfast of bread, fruit, and a little cheese. It wasn't much, but it had all the right nutrients.
Colchi: "Oh... I'm fine," he said, his voice a bit testy. Usually he was more friendly and patient - just think of his many travails with Topaz - but right now he really felt like a squashed frog. And he was getting tired of getting sidelined by sword wielding romantic interests - first Oliver and now even worse Kavani, who he had been shipping with Eric! At least she had a cute little brother in tow.
"So what was it this time? Tiger or lion or bear?" He was also tired of his friends getting mauled by big predators. Asha, Topaz, Ben, Rayla, Eric, Noah, and oh yeah, himself.
Bhearit:
His ears rolled back upon hearing the ever so slight hint of a sharp tone in his friend's voice. "Mountain lion. (Lions and tigers and bears, oh my) I didn't mean to stay away for so long, Colchi," he said, wringing and unwringing his hands. "I'm sorry."
Bhearit imagined Colchi having to go do research by himself while knowing that that redhead was off having fun with two centaurs he had just met that day.
Bhearit's cheek's grew red and he looked away, absentmindedly touching his sides as if that would ease his wounds.
(so so sorry i have not been active im on vaction so ill be more active when i get home..._
(summary and re-comments)
Cloda and Cara:
“Eep!” The girls yelped and writhed beneath the blankets. Cloda shoved the last cookie in her mouth and quickly chewed as she lifted the sheet to peer at Carmela. “Vat? Noooo. It’s just a shnack!” She said around her mouth-full of cookies. Behind her, Cara giggled innocently and waved at Carmela.
“It’s a good breakfast.” Cara added with another big smile as she licked her lips, searching for crumbs.
Yoske: He was glad that Callum and the others were enjoying the porridge. After Callum was done eating, he and Oyzer would probably show him some of the armory weapons.
Govind: First a little money on the side when her parents aren't around, but soon more and more... "So you're looking for opportunities to perform?" he solicited.
Kilroy: "So that is how you want operate?" he asked, a cold look falling over his features. "Might makes right?" For a moment, an agony of indecision. Do I risk injury or slink away from my responsibility to town and herd?
He made his decision quickly, knowing he couldn't do anything for anyone if he was unconscious. If he cooperated with Romie, he had the whole walk back to change his mind. He began walking back to Iraweigh.
Romie:
He recognized the look in Kilroy’s eyes. It was the look of prey when they realized that they stood no chance against the hunter. Unless Kilroy was witty, which he knew he was. This is for his own good. Maybe he doesn’t see it now, but he will later when he sees how terrible the pegasi are.
”I might not regret it, but you would.” He did not let his fingers move an inch. “Kilroy,
we are returning to Iraweigh. The decision you can make is if you want to follow me, or if you want me to carry you there.”
Jocelyn looked to Govind and nodded. “It’s just a little something I do to earn the extra money while my parents are out of town.” She said happily. “It’s not much, but I enjoy playing for people.”
Govind: He trotted up to Jocelyn and Avery again, bag slung over his shoulder. "You're performing in the town square?" he asked, a if he had been a part of the conversation.
Carmela: She weaving in and out of sleep, so it took several minutes for the word "noon" and the smell of cookies to register in her mind. But once they had, she was up immediately. "Noon?" she asked the girls, urgency edging into her voice. If it was noon, she would be late for work! "And also, are you two eating those for breakfast?"
Cloda and Cara:
Both girls stretched beneath the covers, causing the blankets to shift. Cloda poked her head out and drowsily blinked. “Ugh…it’s hardly noon.” Cloda grumbled before pulling the blankets over her head again, retreating back into the warmth and darkness of the plush blankets. Cara blinked in the darkness at the large figure of her older sister. “Is Papa awake?”
“No,” Cloda replied softly with a yawn. “He usually makes coffee about now, but I don’t hear anything.”
Cara nodded, which was useless since Cloda couldn’t see it. The young filly rolled over and left the blanket fort, still holding her stuffed toy close to her chest. She silently stalked towards the kitchen, to where the cookies they baked the night before rested untouched and unguarded on the counter. She shoved one in her mouth, holding the cookie between her teeth, then grabbed a handful before retreating back to her sister.
Cara scurried under the blankets with her treasure, and after a high-five from Cloda, they happily munched on the stolen cookies.
Jocelyn blushed. “Aw thanks! I appreciate it. But I don’t mind one bit. I just hope more people come watch me when I perform in town square.” She squeaked.
Govind: He started taking off his tap shoes, carefully unscrewing each one and replacing it with a normal horseshoe. Then he rubbed them off with a terry cloth and placed them in his bag. He had done this so many times, he could allow his mind to wander.
Without George, he couldn't perform at the cricket match. But this was an incredible opportunity - who knew when he would find another opportunity like it? If he could just find a skilled accompanist, he could pull this off! His mind went to the violinist and the drummer, who were closer to his age and were clearly accustomed to ensemble work. But they had no synergy, even when they had time to rehearse!
And there was Jocelyn. Could he afford to risk it all with a young firebrand?
It was time for a little improvisation...

He smiled and took her hand, nodding at the thought of food. It had been so long since he had had a proper meal or anyone to care for him, and he could hardly believe how much he had missed it. "I don't know." He answered honestly, "I wish I did but she was bleeding I think. I'm not sure. I panicked."
(The friend is Rising Breezes. Since she is kinda gonna be gone for awhile due to her move, if they go to visit her(unless she is unconscious) we will likely get stuck?)
(oh boyyy okay Avery joined a talent show because she wanted to sing again. After she registered, she met Govind and Jocelyn; an exquisite dancer, and a young musician. She sang in front of an audience for the first time since Cloudflame attacked, which was a very liberating feeling for her. (I'll post the link to the song she sang and how her voice sounds) After she was finished, the audience voted on their favorite act since the winner will perform at a "half-time" show during the famed cricket match. There was a tie between Avery and Govind, who are currently on the stage and thanking the audience.
Cole, since he was allowed backstage with her, is probably waiting in the wings for Avery.)
Kavani:
She glared harshly at Bhearit as he retreated towards Colchi; for they both knew that Bhearit was the one who could talk easier with people. She crossed her arms over her chest as best she could with her left arm in a sling. The battle mare sighed deeply, "It was nothing, really. A mountain lion attacked us while we were in the meadow, which is usually a safe place. Luckily, no one was seriously injured, but it was a dangerous situation."
Ben's brows were furrowed and his lips pressed in a straight line, clearly troubled by this news. He nodded slowly. "I see... The animals must be getting restless with our presence. Just last week me and Rayla got attacked by a bear. And before that was the wolf attack."
Kavani nodded and her eyes hardened. "The animals have never come this close before. They're getting bolder and more curious. I'll talk to Captain Fig and see what we can do about it." She grumbled under her breath and looked away.
Ben softened slightly and placed a gentle hand on her non-inured shoulder. Kavani, strangely enough, allowed it, and looked up at the kind eyes of the Tavern owner. "But, for now, come inside and have a warm breakfast."
Kollin cheered at that before climbing onto Ben's back and held onto the back of Ben's jacket for balance. "Look! I'm as tall as Ben now! Oh! Oh! Ceiling! I can touch the ceiling!" Kollin stretched his hand above his head and reached as far as he could, but his fingers came about an inch short. Ben reared up, giving Kollin the height he needed to press his palm flat against the wood ceiling. This caused Kollin to explode into a fit of laughter before laying down on Ben's back.
"Kollin, Benjamin is not a playground." Kavani said in a stern voice as she walked towards the bar, but Ben merely laughed and ruffled Kollin's hair. "Naw, he's fine lassy. He's light. I've carried trays of rum heavier than him."
(SHEEESSHHHHH this is longgggg)
Avery:
She nodded appreciatively at Guran before waving goodbye to the crowd once more, before she too, turned and headed backstage. With a large, beaming smile on her face and high-fived Jocelyn. "Thank you, Jocelyn. You were amazing as well! If it were up to me," She leaned down and whispered, "I would have voted for you." And winked.
Fig: "Good morning," he smiled. "Are you hungry for breakfast, or would you like to wake up a little first?"
Reba: She wrung out the fabric, her hands reddening in the dye. It seemed that would be her lot... perpetually red hands. The mark of a laborer. She wrinkled her nose, then carefully shook her hands out and turned around to face Sultaan.
She held her hands out. "Red Girl?" she asked, smiling weakly.
Carmela: She was indeed awake, as she was accustomed to getting up early. Despite this, she pretended to sleep just a little longer, as if she were a child again.
Espen:
He turned. "Yeah? I'm up," he croaked, looking toward the door.
Sultaan:
He blushed slightly and watched her go over to her project. Reba wasn't facing him at the moment anyhow, so he couldn't sign anything.
Getting up, the mute centaur walked over to the counter and began to prepare breakfast. He leaned against the counter and then looked over his shoulder at Reba.
Callum:
He nodded his thanks and went over to a table. The first bite he could taste the burst of sweet peach in his mouth. It was his favorite fruit.
The porridge was gone within the next couple minutes, and he wondered if he could get seconds.
Bhearit:
He glanced at Kavani, silently urging her to speak. She could control her emotions; and besides, he didn't feel like speaking at the moment.
"I'm fine. Kavani could probably tell a better story than I," he said finally and then looked the other direction. He half expected to get a good jab in the ribs, which he would probably deserve because of how cold he was toward his friends. Well, Kavani wasn't any better.
He glanced over and spotted Colchi. His heart seemed to jerk into a rapid beat. He knew that his friend had seen him, and the redhead didn't know whether to stay where he was or to go explain his long absence. He didn't feel like doing either of those, but he knew he had to chose.
The young stallion sidled over to Colchi, feeling awkward and embarrassed. "Ey, C-Colchi," he said sheepishly. "How are you?"
(Let's say that the girl could have been found and taken to Ulrani's for check up and the night stay. Whose OC is Lemonade's friend btw?)
Eira:
She smiled and reached out for his hand. "Let's go get breakfast first, and then we can ask around. If she was found, where do you think they would take her? Is she not hurt?" the mare asked, opening the door to exit.
Keanar:
It took him awhile to get ready quietly since he was roommates with his other two friends, who both snored quite loudly. He was especially thankful when the door didn't creak as he went out.
The stallion stopped and backed back into his room, shutting the door until there was just an inch of space. His cousin walked out of her room with that colt, smiling at him and talking in a low voice.
Keanar waited until the two had gone down to the dining room before he followed.
(Hey River, Earthquake isn't really gonna be Cole anymore, so I agreed to be him. At least, for now. Do you have anything thoughts about that? XD I know this is sudden lol)
Romie:
”No,” he said quickly. He grabbed Kilroy’s arm. “If there really are pegasi in Johirestown, then you cannot go there. I will not let you.” He liked Kilroy’s mother, and he had seen how worried she had been about him. He would not let her son thrust himself into danger like that, especially since pegasi were involved.
Jocelyn grinned widely as she waved to Govind. “Congratulations!” she cheered, her mandolin in hand.
Fig: He knocked lightly on the door to Kilroy's... Espen's room. His instinct was just to barge in - but his and Espen's relationship was still in beginning stages. He shouldn't overstep his boundaries.
Reba: She turned her face and kissed Sultaan's thumb. "Ok, Green Boy," she said.
Then she turned back to the fabric which was intensely dyed through. It wasn't as good as last time - in her tiredness the previous night she had not made sure that each part would soak in the water long enough, and the red was blotchy in some places. She sucked back her disappointment. Hopefully Zayne would still buy it. She would have to give him a discount.
Yoske: "No problem," he said, returning the smile and handing Callum a bowl filled with peach porridge. The other soldiers were tucking in happily.
"Cap'n Fig should be here soon," he said.
Colchi: He entered the Tavern and watched Bhearit and his girl friend from the side, curious as Ben was about what sort of trouble they had gotten into. Concerned, and maybe a little annoyed too. Ever since Bhearit met Kavani and her brother in the library, it seemed he was unable to leave their side.
He leaned against the wall and folded his arms. There are better things in life then girls, he thought. His career was evidence of that. His mark on Mt. Cutonon was his innovations, not the many failed relationships of adolescence and early adulthood.
Govind: Once the cheers of the audience had abated, Guran addressed them again. "Thank you for attending this year's talent show. And thank you to our wonderful performers who made this night possible. Now, as you leave, leave a donation in the box for the temple. You don't have to, of course, but the Monkey God will smile on you if you do."
As Govid returned backstage to get his things, the stage glow left his face and eyes. It was the feeling of an angel falling from heaven, he thought. But any way, he had different problems on his mind.
Avery:
Her blush increased as Guran listed off all the compliments and explanations written by people in the audience, until her cheeks were almost the same shade of red as her hair. She bowed again and waved at the crowd once more, a large, blissful smile brightening her pale face. Avery winked as her confidence grew and blew a small kiss to a young centaur near the front of the stage. She laughed wholeheartedly as she watched his eyes grow wide and the color drain from his face.
She clapped lightly as Govind came on stage and stepped to the side to allow the talented dancer his moment in the spotlight.
Lemonade
He woke almost instantly, "I wanna get up! Make sure the stranger is ok!" His stomach rumbled at that moment and he bluhsed.
Kavani:
She pretended not to hear Bhearit's stab at her; it would be better for all of them if she kept her mouth shut. The only one who seemed to be in a good mood this morning was Kollin, but then again, he was always happy. As they approached the Tavern, the warm smell of eggs, toast, and bacon already wafted from the windows of the restaurant and Kavani felt both her stomachs grumble. They hadn't eaten the night before and Kavani was regretting it.
Kollin's eyes brightened and he laughed as he trotted faster. "C'mon!!" He called behind him to both his sister and to Bhearit.
Kollin ran to the door and grunted as he leaned all his weight into it. With a little help from Kavani, he pushed the door open and trotted inside. "Morning, Benjamin!" He called into the Tavern with a proud smile. A few moments passed after the clattering of pans in the kitchen followed by quick hoofbeats. The large redhead came out of the kitchen and grinned when he saw Kollin. "Hey there, squirt."
Kollin jeered and laughed and bounded forward, embracing the Tavern-owner and wrapping his short arms as far around the large stallion's waist as he could.
Ben mused Kollin's hair and patted his shoulder affectionately, as Kavani entered and waved a tired greeting. Ben glanced from Kollin to Kavani, with her arm wrapped in a sling, and caught sight of Bhearit, also covered in bandages. "Farris, what happened to the lot of yeh?"
Eira:
She smiled. "That's good. Do you want to sleep in, or go get breakfast? Surely by now the stranger was found by those kind centaurs," she said, opening the window to let in the cool air.
Lemonade
He smiled upon seeing her, almost forgetting the events of last night. Almost.
"I slept good." He said, his eyes growing accustomed to being open after such a deep sleep, "I think I dreamed."
Sultaan:
He hadn't even guessed about his eyes. "Oh, no not an insult at all. I just didn't understand what you meant," he signed as he watched Reba pull her hair back into a curly ponytail, almost mesmerized.
"It's okay, no need to be embarrassed," Sultaan reassured her, moving a stray hair behind her ear. He smoothed his thumb over Reba's cheekbone.
Callum:
Upon hearing the breakfast call, he turned and walked inside. Immediately, he was hit hard with the wonderful smells of Yoske's hard work.
He went up to the cook and patted his back. "Thank you for the meal," he said, grinning at the stallion.
Eira:
She looked over and smiled. "Good morning, Lehman," she greeted him. "How'd you sleep?"
( @Ashsong . I'm not sure why, but this page refused to show me your comment until now. I was looking for it XD!)
Lemonade:
He turned over, yawning as he began to wake from his restful sleep. This cot was much better then where he had been sleeping before.
Reba: "Green... like your eyes..." she signed weakly. She loved the color of his eyes so much... Perhaps she had made a cultural gaffe? "Is there something wrong with the color green? I didn't mean it as an insult."
She then combed her hands through her hair to get into its daily ponytail, her expression growing more and more bashful by the minute.
Yoske: "Breakfast is ready!" he called, and the soldiers rushed into the mess hall to partake.
(You can decide whenever you want to wake Espen)
(XDDD I'm loving this right now.)
Sultaan:
He looked over at Reba and blinked in confusion. Had she been talking to him- had he even heard right?
"What do you mean green boy?" he signed, cocking his head. He smiled awkwardly and rubbed his face to get the sleep out of his eyes. Sultaan studied Reba's face to see if she was joking around.
Callum:
He heaved himself out of his cot and stretched, his back popping. The ex-captain headed out of the barracks and stood just outside to enjoy the morning air.
Bhearit:
"Of course it doesn't matter to you, nothing does," he muttered. He couldn't help but feel grumpy- Bhearit had been shaken awake by Kavani's panic then to be turned upon coldly in his offer of encouragement in the search of Kollin.
On the walk there, Bhearit let himself feed self-pitying thoughts. On occasional moments, he would glance at Kavani to see her expression. Cold as usual. He should have just insisted on going back to bed.
Jocelyn watched from behind stage, smiling warmly at the winners. She may not have won, but she hoped that people would still wish to watch her perform in town. She only wished her parents could be here, because she knew she would've had full support from them. She sighed, and smiled, trotting back to grab her mandolin to get ready to leave.
(Since @Embermoon hasn't been on in a month, I'd like to move on with Colchi.)
Colchi: He asked a stranger for directions for the post office. They sent him on a long, winding trail which eventually deposited him by the jail. Annoyed and a bit suspicious of ulterior motives, he asked someone else who thankfully pointed him in the right direction.
He sent the books and letters and payed the fee easily enough. Then he went back to the Tavern, debating a difficult decision - meal or nap. Ulrani's recommendation or his own body's desire?
(I figured that postal services would not be free at the centaur's level of development.)
Govind: Thank the lucky stars, he thought over and over again. He waited bit before going on stage so Avery could have her moment - goodness knows she deserved it.
Guran took Avery's hand and raised it upward, his face splitting with a huge smile. The audience cheered wildly, repeating her name over and over. Then Guran picked up a few of the handkerchiefs. "Some people explained why they voted for you! 'Beautiful voice' 'heartstopping' 'best ocarina I've heard in years' and 'will you marry me?'"
When Guran finished reading, Govind came on stage, painfully aware that George wasn't there. "Govind, where is your partner?" Guran bellowed.
"He had to leave," Govind said simply. The audience cheered anyway, since Govind had been their favorite of the two.
Jocelyn clapped her hands together, in joy. ”Congrats!” She cheered
Avery:
Her eyes went wide. Incredibly wide. She froze and stared out at the stage, hardly breathing as her name echoed in her ears. At first, she didn't move. "Wait, what...?" She blinked repeatedly. "Avery Shimon. Th-That's me..."
"Me?" She said aloud with a shocked expression and glanced at Govind. Slowly and carefully, as if Guran was about to take back his words, she stepped out onto the stage. Holding her hands close to her chest, her eyes flicked from Guran to the audience as if they were about to start booing. Avery continued to walk towards centerstage when neither of her flustered scenarios came true. She waved meekly at the audience.
Govind: "Huh..." he said, focus already returning to Guran. Gosh, he really wanted to win this thing. After two years of failure, the only thing he would accept was success! Otherwise, he might as well go home and pick up a fishing rod, just like all the boring, artless centaurs of the world.
Finally, Guran dropped the clump of handkerchiefs on the stage ground and kicked them aside. "The audience has chosen, the Monkey King has reveled, and the result was unprecedented!"
Come on, come on, Govind thought, feeling as though his hooves were about to leave the ground as he soared out of the ampitheater.
"This year, there has been a tie! With Lord Mono's grace, will the eloquent and enrapturing singer Avery Shimon come to the stage! And with her, will the skilled duo of Govind Gardner and George Joseph come to the stage!"
Kilroy: He nodded. "It may take time for you to remember," he said with authority, something he was growing skilled at doing. "Why don't you go back to Iraweigh and stay with my mother for a while? She'll be happy to keep you as a guest. You know that. I'll go to Johirestown. I have to go - people's lives are on the line. I'll come back soon, and you can tell me what you know when you're ready."
Romie:
His breath caught in his throat. “I don’t remember,” he said quickly. “I just know that it was something horrible.” He crossed his arms over his chest, realizing that Kilroy may not be a friend after all.
(Sorry! I'm here now)
Avery:
"I'm excited, as well. All though, I don't really care if I win. I didn't sign up because I wanted to win. I participated and performed because it's what I love to do. Whether I win or not, I had fun." She shrugged and fiddled with the end of her braid. "Somewhat silly, I know. But I suppose, in the end, it never mattered."
No one is going to remember me anyway.
Kavani:
She could see how tired the young inventor was, no matter how he tried to hide it. And yet, he still accepted Kollin's invitation. What was his goal here? Why didn't he just go home and rest? She cocked a brow in Bhearit's direction then shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me. Come, if you'd like." Kavani placed a hand on Kollin's shoulder and guided hm towards the Tavern, ignoring Kollin's frumpy scowl to her curt attitude.
Kollin looked over his shoulder and waved for Bhearit to follow. "Ignore Kavi. She's always grumpy in the mornings. And every other time, for that matter."
Kavani grunted and sent an unamused, yet playful look down to her brother, who giggled innocently.
Fawnroot:
Blinking herself awake, she yawned wide and lifted her head. All seemed to be quiet and she was grateful she had mostly slept through the night. Fawnroot stood in one quick movement, then stretched her wings. It was a quiet, misty morning, and Sun herd was hardly awake.
The medicine mare could hear the distant thrum of large wings and knew that it was Hawkflight and the other captains, continuing their endless patrols and hopeless campaign. She breathed in the moist morning air, before trotting outside to graze.
Fig: He finished cooking and leaned against the wall, bored. Maybe he should go wake up Espen? It was good for young stallions to have discipline in their sleeping schedules. But then, Espen had been up later that night, and that was partially Fig's fault. He decided to give him five more minutes.
Reba: She slowly stood up. Sultaan's eyes were barely open, so she didn't bother signing. "Good morning, Green Boy," she said, trying out a new pet name. Her command of Centak was limited, but the name seemed fitting because of Sultaan's eyes. Her mother called her father Hazel Boy too - in her mother tongue, of course.
Yoske: He started cooking breakfast, skinning and mashing peaches to mix into a huge pot of porridge. Technically he shouldn't have to do this because he had a mission today, but no one else could cook as well as him and they all wanted to show Callum their best. Besides, Yoske found it was the perfect way to get his thoughts in order for the day.
(Hello! Just thought I would announce my presence!)
Eira:
She awoke to the light filtering into her room and sat up, blinking. Lehman was sleeping on another cot which had been specifically requested by her.
She wondered what the time was, and hoped her cousin and his friends were still asleep.
Espen:
His sleep was heavy on him, much so he couldn't remember ever having any dreams the night before as he came to.
It was too early; the colt draped an arm over his eyes and exhaled. He could smell eggs, but it didn't make him hungry. He had snacked too late last evening, and eggs didn't sound good at all.
Espen moved his tongue about in his mouth; his throat was dry when he swallowed. He pried open his eyes and looked around. There wasn't any cup of water. So, either he would try to go back to sleep thirsty, or he would get up and drink some water and have to remain awake.
He didn't feel like interacting at the moment.
Sultaan:
He lay on his side with his back to Reba, his pillow tucked between his cheek and shoulder. The mute centaur let out a long breath and stretched his arm.
In the middle of the night he had subconsciously pulled the covers half on him, but now they were tangled about in his hind legs.
Sultaan inhaled through his nose and looked down in annoyance at the blanket, trying to kick it off.
Callum:
He sighed softly and pulled his blanket up to his neck. He couldn't believe how rusty he had gotten by forgetting how loud the barracks were in the morning.
Callum opened his eyes and looked around. Soldiers groaned and climbed out of their cots, mumbling good mornings to one another as they got ready for another day.
He wondered when they were going to set out to Sun Herd.
Bhearit:
He turned around and smiled at the colt. "It does look very happy, Kollin," he said quietly and stroked the bunny gently with the back of his pinkie. He met Kavani's gaze for a moment and then looked back down at Kollin.
"Ay, I'm hungry too, let's go to Ben's and see what breakfast meals he's got," he replied, smiling a little. He could imagine himself falling asleep in the middle of a bite due to how tired he was.
However, the redhead straightened his posture, deciding to suck it up and not show his exhaustion.
@Riverbreeze(phone)
Govind: "Just a few minutes, now," he said, eyes scanning the crowd tirelessly. "As for how I'm feeling, I more exhilarated then nervous..." he answered, doing his best to project the old hand image. "And how about you?" His eyes broke away from the crowd and he smiled at Avery.
Guran was gathering up the scraps of colorful fabric and counting them, hemming and hawing loudly. Some of the performers made conjectures about the dances of his thick eyebrows.
Kollin:
He glanced from Bhearit to Kavani, unaware of the sudden tension. As if nothing happened and everyone were best friends, he grabbed Kavani’s good hand and walked with her back to the healer’s hut.
“Hey, Bhearit!” Kollin pranced forward while still holding Kavani’s hand and tapped his shoulder twice. “Are you coming to breakfast with us? We’re going to the Tavern!”
Kavani glanced down at her brother with a raised brow, yet he seemed fully convinced that they were going to Ben’s for breakfast. “We are?”
Kollin nodded affirmatively. “Yes. We are!” He wobbled back and forth on his hooves and swung his arms from side to side.
“Look how much happier the bunny is, Bhearit!” With his free hand, he carefully pulled the bunny out of his pocket. It’s eyes were open and it seemed to be more alert than the day before. “I found some leaves and berries; he ate those.“ Kollin traced random shapes into the air with one finger after he put the bunny safely away.
Sophie shifted in her long peaceful sleep, yawning widely, and stretching her body. She wondered if Espen had slept well last night too... She grinned at the thought to go see him. Sophie collapsed out of bed, and began to brush out her hair, giving up on the first tangle.
(Yes!)
Fig: He slept well that, his warrior's ears tracing the sounds of Espen's breathing. Goodness, he missed falling asleep to the sounds of other centaurs - it was lonely without his comrades in the barracks or his family.
Early in the morning, he got up and started cooking some eggs. He didn't know how Espen liked them done, so he scrambled one, hard boiled another, and also cooked one over easy and one over hard. He would eat which ever ones Espen did not want. He liked all eggs.
Reba: She woke up to the sound of birds chirping, something she was slowly getting used to. Desert mornings were silent save for the sounds of other centaurs waking up and getting ready for the day ahead. But mornings out here in the outskirts of Anok there were the sounds of nature instead of other centaurs. There was only Sultaan, and of course he was silent.
Yoske: The first thing he did that morning was check on Oyzer, who was fast asleep and muttering. He shook his friend awake.
"Oyzer!" he whispered. "How are you feeling?"
Oyzer opened his eyes and glared. "M'fine. Let me sleep."
Yoske mashed his lips. "You were talking in your sleep. I wanted to make sure you weren't sick."
"No," Oyzer said, shifting away from Yoske. "I ate one of those provolone pastries you made last night. Cheese gives me weird dreams. Now leave me be so I can sleep!"
Carmela: She was indeed awake, as she was accustomed to getting up early. Despite this, she pretended to sleep just a little longer, as if she were a child again.
Bhearit:
He inhaled and looked at Kollin, barely returning the wave. He yawned and turned back to the hut to leave the two siblings alone. Especially the steaming Kavani. Man, was Bhearit ever going to catch a break from her attitude?
The redhead yawned and entered the Healer's hut again stiffly, holding his breath from the pain. (I gtg!)

Kavani:
“Barely looked?!” She snapped loudly as if Bhearit hadn’t just displayed a very intimate show of support. “I searched the entire healer’s hut. I shouldn’t have to search at all! Kollin’s never left me before. Something must’ve happened.” She pinned her ears and continued calling his name, keeping her back to Bhearit.
“Yeesh! Would you two stop fighting already? You’ll wake up the whole herd with all this yelling.” A small voice sounded behind the two centaurs. Kavani whirled around to see Kollin walking towards them with a wide-eyed, naive smile.
“Kollin!” Kavani ran for him and scooped him up. “Thank goodness.“ She mumbled as she embraced him tighter, stroking his hair. In response, Kollin sheepishly patted her head twice. Kavani pulled away then took his shoulders in her hands. “Where did you go? Why would you leave?” She asked as she looked him over for any injuries, the panic still obvious in her voice. Kollin blinked up at his sister then patted his shirt pocket gently. “The bunny was hungry.” He said simply, then leaned around Kavani and waved happily at Bhearit.
(Fire do you wanna skip to morning?)
Lemonade
He nodded, struggling to chew and swallow such a larger bite. It took a few tries. But he finally got it down.
(Thank you Ash and Apsi :)
(Ash, Ben did bring Lehman his food. Maybe you didn’t see it… guess it doesn’t matter now tho so it’s okay)
Ari and Mina left for their room they had rented, and left to get some sleep.
Espen:
He yawned just as Fig gave him permission to go to bed. "Thanks Mr. Fig," he said, and silently vowed to be more interested and involved the next morning. (Do you wanna skip til the next day?)
Mina yawned as she spotted her brother. He waved her over, and Mina smiled. She said bye to everyone like she knew them, and trotted over to her brother, leaving the check and a tip on the table for Ben.
Fig: "Don't worry too much about it... if you keep training and spending time in the forest, you'll gain the skills you need. You're too hard on yourself." He stood up and stretched. "You should try and get some sleep, I'll see you in the morning."
Eira:
She smiled to herself and looked away as the colt shoved the res of his meal into his mouth. She could hardly believe he was able to speak with that bite.
"Chew carefully," the mare told him.
(Alrighty)
Lehman(I really don't know which to type here...any votes?)
He shoved the rest in his mouth and looked up at her "finsihed." He declared with a mouthful of food.
Espen:
"Only certain areas," he replied, remaining polite. Again, the young colt stifled a yawn; he could already feel sleep press against the back of his eyelids. "I don't know, Mr. Fig. I'm not at all very strong. I tire out real fast when I run and stuff."
Bhearit:
He rubbed his face tiredly and gazed at his friend in worry. "Kavani, don't panic now, you've barely looked. He can't be far," he reassured her, gently laying both his hands on on each of her shoulders.
Bhearit offered a smile, even if he was more than certain that she would not return it. He blinked and then moved away quickly.
What on earth did you just do, Bhearit? No, no, just a comforting, friend thing to do. She better not interpret it as something else. He walked off quickly and called Kollin's name.
(Let's just say Lemonade got his food. We really need to skip til morning)
Eira:
"I'll see to your bath," she replied, and stroked the colt's hair. "Finish your food now, it's quite late."
Mina sat by herself at the counter while waiting to order food. Night was slipping in, and so was her energy. But she couldn’t go to bed on an empty stomach, so she struggled a yawn and waited
Lemonade
He smiled, "oh. Family. That's good." He trusted family, so assumed that was the same for everyone else. He made note of his appearance. "Where is food? And where do I get cleaned up?"
Romie:
He reached out and grabbed for Kilroy’s hand to stop him. “No one can truly understand the pegasi,” he growled, his eyes wide with fear. “They are a danger to us all. It is best if you stay far away from them and avoid any interaction.” A thought came to him, and he felt sick to his stomach. “Have they come to any other cities?”
