Made it to day 7! How fun!
As you can see from the title of the poem, this is a more recent piece. I found it a few days ago and found it simple, yet intriguing. There isn't much to say about it unless you want to get into the wonders and downfalls of technology. I do think texting is a pretty cool thing though! I like it ,but I do think you should try to see those people as well if you can! (There are cases where this shouldn't or can't be attempted).
Text
By Carol Ann Duffy
I tend the mobile now
like an injured bird
We text, text, text
our significant words.
I re-read your first,
your second, your third,
look for your small xx,
feeling absurd.
The codes we send
arrive with a broken chord.
I try to picture your hands,
their image is blurred.
Nothing my thumbs press
will ever be heard.

I like it! I think this poem is especially fitting for the platform that you posted it on! I find it interesting that the speaker describes themselves as an injured bird. Maybe they feel as though the lack of ‘voice’ in their messages is their injury?
Hmm that is interesting and simple. I like simple. My only comment is a quote from Frozen 2
"Technology will be both our savior and our doom"
