"Brackentail?" Brackentail groaned and opened his eyes to see Morningleaf and Star standing above him. "Are you okay?" Star asked. Brackentail nodded a bit thinking he was okay, until he realized what happened: he heard Morningleaf say that she wants Star, and when he flew home he crashed on the ground and fainted. He quickly shook his head, "No." "What are you doing here? What happened?" Morningleaf asked. Brackentail realized that it was about midnight, and they were at Crabwing's Bay still. "I... i wad here to...-" Brackentail couldnt think of an excuse. Morningleaf had a bit of a confused look on her face but she nodded. "Well, lets get home and get some rest." Brackentail nodded. He opened his wings and flew into the sky, Star and Morningleaf behind him. A few minutes later, Brackentail could hear Morningleaf and Stat talking but only caught bits and pieces of their conversation. He heard something about a foal, what the herd will think, and even about war. Brackentail shook his head, and a tear rolled down his face. Star and Morningleaf were becoming mates.
