Ashanti:
She stopped in her tracks. So they heard...she thought to herself. She took a deep breath before answering. "I see.." She stopped. She knew it would sound very crazy and weird. it's not or never.. "I see dead Pegasus" She said.
Loralie:
When she heard Morpheus ask Ashanti that question she too stopped. Way to get to the point She though. When she heard Ashanti's answer though.... Dead Pegasus? She knew she was like them (Star foals) but it was still weird... She didn't reply.
Summary:
All of the star foals (excluding star foals not in the interior) have all safely made it the ground. Vida suffered a wing injure, as did Thunderfire but he also broke his withers. Thea has healed his back (I think) and ’the group’ (Morpheus, Loralie, Ashanti, Duskwatcher, maybe Azrael) are now walking aimlessly in the forest.
Did I miss anything? Also, let’s celebrate the fact that StarBeam! is back!!!!! :D
Morpheus:
Morpheus rumbled into a deep laugh. ”And I can eat meat. What else is new?” He scoffed. When he realized she was compeltely serious, he opened an widened and eye.
Ashanti:
She was taken aback by his 'joke" Which wasn't funny.... "his name is Duskwatcher. Hes like my protector..." she said
Loralie:
She looked at Morpheus. She knew that was just who he was but he should be more careful with others. Ashanti seemed to be very slim and "weak".
Duskwatcher:
Duskwatcher glared in the direction of the bulkier foal than him. He lashed his tail, causing a gust of wind to fly past Morpheus’s ears.
Morpheus:
Protector, he thought, and then reared up when wind flew past his ears. Spooking, he bolted away, bucking, kicking, and tossing his wings this way and that.
Mossroot:
She smiled at Thunderfire and gently bowed her head. "It's the least I could do." She whispered gently.
Thea:
She sent one more beam of light through her healing wings and focused the light across his entire back, but left his wings untouched and only focused on Thunderfire's broken spine.
When she was satisfied that his entire spine, back, withers, and shoulders were healed to perfection, she dropped her wings and stepped away from Thunderfire, cocking her head and admired her work.
His back was no longer swollen, his withers were correctly shaped instead of dented, any scars or bruises he had over his hide was completely gone, and his coat glowed brightly as it shined in the sun.
Thea grinned as she folded her wings and flicked her tail proudly.
Mossroot nuzzled Thea, 'Well done, Thea. Thank you. Now you may rest." She nickered warmly, then left to check on Vida.
Azrael: "There's no point in being here in the interior if Atheria's dead, so goodbye Elmfeather. I'm going back to Ashanti" He said flying away
Thea:
She glanced at Thunderfire before she lowered her head submissively, "I-I'm sorry, sir. I should have seen that you've changed. I hope you feel better." She said, before stepping away from him so he could rest.
She swiveled her head to look at Bakari and flicked her ears towards him. She bit her lower lip as she debated whether or not going to talk to him, flexing her wings and tossing the forelock out of her eyes.
Vida:
She let her wings drag as she walked slowly away. "Kifo should have lived. I should have died instead of him." She whispered softly
Starbrook:
"Mossroot help!" He called out landing with the heavy stallion still on his back
(Who's the heavy stallion?)
Mossroot:
Her eyes darted around at the sound of her name to see Starbrook struggling. She rushed to his side to help gently remove the stallion off his back.
(Whitesky, broken wing)
Starbrook:
"He has a broken wing ma'am I cant help him." He said
(Where did Whitesky come from? Was he always with the Star foals or did he just arrive?)
(Just arrive, he was with another stallion named Wildstrike and they were against Star foals, but he was secretly with them, and used this as the chance to warn them about Wildstrike, Whitesky is my character. so yeah!! XD)
Whitesky didn't fight anyone, he didn't have the time to, he needed to explain things to the herd, and fast before Wildstrike started to get a move on with the plan, and so that he could see his sister again after the months or a year of not seeing her, really ever at least not face-to-face.
(oh ok)
Mossroot:
"Help me lower him into the grass." She stated and together and gently lifted him off Starbrook's back and onto the tall grass. "Lay still, my dear." She said before speeding off to grab some of her remedies.
"This'll help with the pain." She said, dropping oak tree roots and basil in front of Whitefall. As he ate, she inspected his wing, like she had done with Thudnerfire.
(How bad do you want the break to be?)
(Well it should be on his right wing, and I was thinking that he will be able to fly again... but he did catch a wind current going up, but then fell out of it landing on his right wing, so however bad you think will go with that!! XD)
Whitesky did as the mare ask, laying on the ground, and eating the roots that he was told to without one complaint coming out of his mouth about the taste or anything.
(hmm....maybe he dislocated his wing from his back? (Like dislocating your shoulder) It's painful but he should be fine. That good?)
(Yup, that works with me!! :D you are much better at this then I ever could be!! XD)
(It's no biggie! I just read a lot of medical books...)
Mossroot:
She immediately realized the problem, "It looks like you dislocated your entire wing out of it's socket. I can pop it back into it's correct place, but it's going to hurt...a lot. I'll put a numbing agent around your shoulder blades and back so you won't feel it, but it will still hurt."
She said, her voice flat but it had a soothing chirp beneath the serious edge, "Are you ready?"
Whitesky looked over at the mare, "Whenever you are ma'am." he said calmly to her.
(There's a rainbow where we are right now, gonna go take a few pics of it, be back after that!! XD)
(I be back!! XD)
Mossroot:
After she smeared a thick layer of cypress tree sap all around Whitesky's wing base, back, and shoulder. "I'm going to count down from 3. Starbrook, help me lift his wing. 3..2..1!" She whinnied, and as soon as she reached 1, she and Starbrook pushed Whitesky's wing back into it's correct position with a not-so-satisfying pop.
"Hold it!" She said as she reached for a long stick that was thicker at the base. She placed it at the base of his wing and tied vines around the stick and his wing, creating a splint to keep the newly re-attached wing from dislocating itself again.
"Ok! Done! Thank you Starbrook." She said before moving to Whitesky's head, "No flying for at least 3 weeks. Eat this for the soreness and pain."
