He stayed back letting the herd run. "Your useless you cursed foal." He whispered to himself.

Windborn:

He was slower because he had still come back to life only a short time ago.

Vida:

"Lets live for him my friend!" She rose and started running to the lake. "Race you!" She whinnied to Seaglade

Thea:

She nickered and glanced over her shoulder at Bakari. She winked playfully and her grin widened, "I'm not a cheater! I'm just taking advantage!"

Like Anblick, she threw a small buck, but then continued to gallop on when she realized that bucking slowed her down.

Anblick:

"Okay, fine! The only rule is that everyone can use their powers, except Thea!" He whinnied, but then realized that seeing the future wasn't a real advantage to winning a race. "Oh well. Bye Thea. Hope that egg tastes good." He whinnied again.

Thea gasped and pinned her ears, "You can't do that!" She sneered, before pumping her wings and lifting off, so she wouldn't have to run and she could fly instead. She soared above Anblick, "You never said I couldn't fly!" And she stuck her tongue out at the golden colt as the large lake came into view.

Ashanti:

she hated to be seen like this. Normally she would blush at the fact that Duskwatcher had touched her face (Doesn't happen often due to him being... well... dead) But it just didn't feel right.. They together didn't feel right. She knew she would never be fully happy with Duskwatcher. "I- I think it time I move on.. We can still be friends but... I need move on from this crush It just doesn't feel right. I mean, did could you ever even like me that way...?" She said.

Loralie:

She blushed and picked up her legs and dragged them to Morpheus then plopped down. She immediately felt better, warmer.

Silren:

She laughed at Thea. ”Be careful, cheaters get scary monsters chasing after them!” She shouted, referring to her power of illusions. She wouldn’t actually use them, because they drain her.

Bakari:

Bakari’s mouth gaped open. Snorting in determination, he pushed his legs faster, beginning to inch closer to Thea. It took a lot of his energy, but he was determined to not use his powers to help him, even though it was very tempting. ”Cheater! Come back here so I can whack you playfully!” He laughed through mouthfuls of air.

Thea:

She rolled her eyes, but wasn't surprised at how easily he caught up. She returned his grin with her own and enjoyed his company.

The sun shined down on her back and wings, giving her absorbent amounts of energy. Her Starfire, now fueled with the sun's rays, spread through her body and the energy she just gained allowed her to put on a small burst of speed, pulling ahead of him by a nose.

"Never have I been so grateful to have the sun as a power source!"

Anblick:

"HEY!! That's cheating! You're using your powers!" He screamed, offended, to Thea who was steadily catching up.

"You never said I couldn't! Blame the sun for shining so brightly!" She fired back, sassily whipping her mane around, her purple eyes flashing with joy.

Silren:

Silren squeaked as he got ahead of her. She had never been a fast runner, and certainly wasn’t one now, as she struggled to catch up. She was determined, though, and was ready to use any deceptive manuevers to avoid eating a bird’s egg.

Bakari:

Bakari laughed. ’We’ll see about that, Thea!” He brayed. Bakari haad gotten the long and fast legs that Silren didn’t have, and was quickly right next to Thea, grinning at her. His neck was directy parrallel to hers, and his long mane slapped against his head and neck.

Caita ran as fast as she could whining in delight smiling as she nickered towards Hugur and her other friends to run faster, since out of her friend group she seemed to be at the front.

Hugur speed up, almost neck and neck to Caita, but he really didn't feel like being last like he usually was, he used his wings to help go faster making him sleeker and more thin as he ran towards the lake whining about how he was almost there.

Anblick:

He threw his head back and laughed, "It's called incentive! No one wants to eat a bid's egg. That's just gross." He neighed, and pumped his legs.

Out of the sheer joy of the race he quickly tossed his hind legs up into the air and bucked. "Unless you want to eat it, I suggest you run faster!" He whinnied and pulled ahead of Silren, playfully flicking his tail over her muzzle.

Thea:

She chuckled, and brayed her own cheerful whinny into the sky as they tore across the Interior like the harsh winds, except the pegasi were running faster.

"You're on Anblick! No way am I eating a bird's egg!" She whinnied again and charged forward, purple feathers streaming behind her wake.

Duskwatcher:

Duskwatcher lowered his head to her level, and brought his ghostly wing to her cheek, wiping away the tear. ”Do not cry. What I did was wrong, yes. But you were so preciou, so innocent. I didn’t want that to be taken from you. This world is already doing that to you,” he whispered.

Morpheus:

Morpheus raised his head. He nodded. ’No worries. I’m big and fluffy,” he joked, laying his head bac onto the ground. Tinsel rolled her eyes and flew up into the canopy, deiciding to not rest beside her creaator.

Ashanti:

She flicked her head up. she always knew to think before she spoke, but it just clicked.She started to say annoyed but quietly "Don't you think I would want to know the person I love... loved was dead? Don't you think I had a right to know! Don't you think you should of tried to find me some friends DON'T YOU THINK?!?!?!" She yelled. A single tear rolled down her cheek.

Ashanti was had very thin skin, she was very sensitive. in fact, if she had thicker skin, she wouldn't be here. She hated fighting. She closed her eye and turned away, not wanting him to see her like this... weak.

Loralie:

Her thought got interrupted by a very cold wind that made her bones shiver. She wasn't sure what he would say but she asked anyway. "um, Morpheus.." She started "Do you mind if I come lay next to you... I'm kinda cold..." She said

Silren:

Silren wrinkled her nose as they ran. ”A bird’s egg?! Are you mad?!” She laughed.

Bakari:

Bakari let his look of concern fall and he grinned. He took off in a gallop after her, ignoring as best he could her nightmare. He whinnied in delight.

(This is before everyone started racing to the lake)

Jigun:

He landed with an unattractive stumble, but he recovered and arched his wings. He followed Iden’s gaze and saw the healer sleeping beneath a tree.

He flicked his ears forward and shook his head, “No...she looks tired. I can wait a little longer.” He snorted before lowering his head to sniff the grass and graze. He glanced at Iden when she wasn’t looking, silently staring at her wings and her unique eyes.

“Hey, want to go to the lake?” He asked, flicking his tail playfully and his dark eyes sparkling brightly.

His gray coat was also muddy and his wings were caked in dust.

(Not really. The entire Shadow herd is going to the lake to bathe and cool off cuz there all incredibly dirty. All the foals are racing there.

Jigun asked Iden on a "date" by asking her if she wanted to go to the lake with him so they could bathe. Thea had a nightmare. That's basically it.)

Thea:

She watched Bakari approach her, still slightly surprised by seeing him alive. She inhaled, but nodded, "Yeah. It was just a nightmare."

She breathed, knowing that Bakari was still suspicious and concerned, but she shook her head gently,

"I'll tell you later...It's not important right now." She said, then heard Silren's joyful call to them and she smiled, her eyes twinkling, "Race ya?" Thea snorted playfully, before leaping forward into a gallop without waiting for a reply.

Anblick:

He ran side by side with Silren and screamed over his shoulder, "Last one there has to eat a bird's egg!" He whinnied delightfully and pumped his legs faster.

Bakari:

Bakari’s head shot up when he Thea started to yell and writhe around. After Mossroot had gently woken her, he trotted to her shaing form. ”Are you alright, Thea?” He asked.

Silren:

Silren whinnied in delight and bounded forward, glancing behind her at the other foals who were a little hesitant. ”What are you waiting for?! C’mon!” She brayed, a smile on her face.

Duskwatcher:

Duskwatcher blinked. ”I... I was drowned after recieving a pitiful blow to my head. I didn’t tell you I was dead because you didn’t need to know. I do not know where your mother is, I only found you oncce you happened across the Interior. You can live in a herd. Just, not the one you expeced,” he said softly, no breths inbetween.

(omg it wouldn't let me comment so I had to wait until morning! URG)

Ashanti:

She met Duskwatcher's eyes. They were big, black, and depthful eyes. If others had the opportunity to see a dead Pegasus, they would be frighten. Ashanti on the other hand had grown up with Duskwatcher. You could call them childhood friends. She flicked her hair back and then opened her mouth to talk. "You know what I want to talk about." She said seriously.

When she opened her mouth again, she could corm the words. Ashanti didn't know how to explain to Duskwatcher that "this" (Them "fighting") had gone for too long, and it was affecting her attitude around others. She closed her eyes and thought hard. " We need to stop this. I want answers. How did you die, why didn't you tell me, where is my mom, why couldn't I have grown up in a herd?" She went on and on for while getting all of her questions out. Then she stopped and looked him in the "eyes". Honestly Ashanti knew that Duskwatcher wouldn't be able to answer all her questions, but he should answer most.

Loralie:

She glanced at Morpheus who was some what far away from here. Loralie hated being alone. "She said something about talking to Duskwatcher" She told him. Then laid her head in a depressing way. Her thought swarmed around her to the point she blocked out all other sounds. Does life have a purpose for me and my powers? Is this a curse and i am forever going to be alone? Will I every find.... the one..?

Mossroot:

She chuckled then glanced to Starbrook, who still stood by her side, "You can go. I'm waking the foals who are asleep to see if they would like to join." She said, before trotting slowly to Thea.

Thea suddenly started flailing her wings and pumping her legs as if she was running. She pinned her ears and bared her teeth, but her eyes were still closed. Thea rolled in the grass, "NOO!!" She screamed, while writhing.

"Thea, wake up." Mossroot snorted, nudging hard on the dreaming filly. Thea's eyes shot open and she lunged to her hooves in a blur. She stood shakily, her whole body trembling, obviously scared by what she saw. Her eyes darted to Bakari and her wings vibrated and jaw dropped gently at the sight of him.

"Easy, Thea. You were having a nightmare." Mossroot soothed. "Shadow herd is going to the lake to bathe. I figured you would want to come?"

Thea caught her breath and composed herself, "Uh-yes..yes. I would. Thanks for waking me." She said, casting a long glance towards Bakari-the terrified look in her eyes melted quickly and she relaxed.

Seaglade:

Seaglade ploppd down next to her and draped his wing over her back. ”I do, too, Vida. I really do,” he said.

Marlcloud:

Marlcloud slowed down and looked behind her. Grinning, she cantered back over to Lonestar, hoisted her onto her back and said, ”Now you can run as fast as you will ever need!” She cheered.

Lonestar:

"Mama!" She called as she fell behind

Vida:

She nodded. "I guess I just miss him so much." She said

Seaglade:

”Then that is the best you can do. Love him while he was here, and love him while he is gone, but never stop loving for him. But, do not love him so muh you feel the ache of grief everytime you think of him. Just be happy he got to live and that you got to know him,” Seaglade suggested.

Vida:

"I loved his as much as any sister loves her brother. For most of my life before I met you he was my life. In short before I met you he was my hero."

Seaglade:

Seaglade’s frown deepened. ”Well... Uh... That is... unexpected....” he mumbled. Shaking his head in grief, he looked back up at her and said, ”It’s still not your fault, though. Do you love Kifo, Vida?”

Vida:

"Windborn told em there is no peace for him. He is away from jeray the one pegasus he loved more than me." He

Tideflight jumped onto his mother's back and refused to get off not wanting to run.

Caita laughed and got up running after the mare and her filly.

Whitesky chuckled and ran after the lead mare, reaching where she was quickly, and being neck to neck with her before to long.

(Misty)

Seaglade:

”Vida,” he sighed, ”you can’t blame yourself for every wrong in the world. Kifo-“ He paused, thinking of what to say. ”Kifo may be gone, but how do you know he is not happy?”

Vida:

"I left him alone! I was with Ash herd I left him alone I left my twin brother alone! I killed him its my fault. My fault!"

Seaglade:

Seaglade frowned. ”Last I remembered, it was Rivercloud who killed him, not you. How could you have possible killed him?” He asked.

Lonestar:

She leaped from Whitesky's wings. "Wun!" She said racing toward Marlcloud.

Vida:

"Its my fault that Kifo died." She said

Marlcloud;

Marlcloud grinned behind fatigue, relieved. ”Oh tha sounds so enjoyable. Let’s hope the ponds haven’t flooded! Race you all there!” She whinnied, bounding off towards the pond, childish and carefree.

Seaglade:

Seaglade nodded to Estrel and trotted over to Vida, waiting for her to tell him what to do.

( BRB gotta let the horses out and eat )

Mossroot:

She glanced at her wings. Her gleaming, bright fuchsia wings were no longer gleaming. They were covered in dried blood from helping the injured steeds, dust, and a combination of sap, leaves, and chopped roots. She snorted in disgust and nodded to Caita, “How about we all go to the lake? I think we all need a good bath.” She nickered, then looked at Marlcloud for permission.

Caita smiled to her, "Yup!" she said smiling to her.

Tideflight looked up at his mom, "Am I gonna need a bath too?" he asked her.

Caita looked down at him, "Oh yeah." she said laughing as she nuzzled him.

Lonestar:

She looked at Caita, "Tanks sissy!"

Whitesky laughed, "We're gonna have to tell you mom, and see if we can get you cleaned off." he said chuckling.

Lonestar:

"Bwrrys!"

Whitesky looked over at the filly, "What did you two do?" he asked getting up and walking over to her, scooping her up in his wings and looking down at her muzzle laughing some.

Windborn:

"Hey Whitesky you better come clean your foal." he said

Caita laughed softly to the filly.

Lonestar:

"I lwve them!" She said happily finishing it

Caita, "How about one more, you may get a belly ache if you eat to many." she said calmly to her offering one more, which just so happened to be the last one.

Lonestar:

She ate the berry and smiled. "Mwre!"

Windborn:

"Better take her too. Look at ehr face that white fur might not wash clean." He said

Caita looked over at the filly, giving her one, "There you go sweety." she said calmly smiling to the filly.

Lonestar:

She rose and stumbled over to Caita. "Bwrry!" She said

Caita nodded as she looked over at Tideflight who had juice all over his face, she laughed and tried to wipe it off, "We are going to have to go to the lake in a little and wipe you off." she said laughing as she licked her lips.

Windborn:

He ate the berry and smiled. "That is a very good berry!"

Caita laughed sortly offering one to him as she ate another.

Windborn:

"I learned when I was a foal because my friend Starlight almost got us killed by eating death berries. I get it right."

Caita, "Alright!" she said smiling eating one before she let Tideflight have any, cause while she trusted Windborn you could never been to careful.

Windborn:

"I checked them they are not." He had learned how

Caita, "Careful, those could be death berries." she said calmly checking them but she couldn't tell.

Windborn:

He rose and picked some blackberrys and bringing them back dropped them at her hooves. "For you."

Caita, "Sure." she said ripping at the grass some careful not to get any mudd with it.

Windborn:

"I am!" He said laughing

Caita, "There is grass right here, chill." she nickered to him laughing some.

Windborn:

"You need anything? You hungry?"

Whitesky woke up, his wing still over the small filly. His sister still talking with that colt that he eyes again, but then looked away grazing while laying down.

Starbrook:

"Thank you Mossroot." He said.

Estrel:

He walked up to Seaglade. "You got the pick of the litter with her." Pointing to Vida. "Now go to ehr!"

Duskwatcher:

Duskwatcher frowned as he glided alongside her. When she stopped, he turned to face her, his big, black, depthful eyes reflecting her face. ”What do you want to talk about?” He asked.

Morpheus:

Morpheus glanced at Loralie. ”Wonder what that’s all about,” he grumbled as he laid down in the grass.

Ashanti:

She let out a giggle as his bird smack him. she also watched as Duskwatcher walked next to her. The tension was high. This needs to stop she thought. "Um, Loralie," She asked turning to Loralie not wanting to engage with Morpheus. "Would you excuse Duskwatcher and I... We need talk" She said.

Loralie:

She was a bit confused why she was asking her, she then realized that Morpheus was the only other person to ask anyway. "Uhm, yeah sure, go right ahead." She nicely smiled.

Ashanti:

After getting approval she beckoned Duskwatcher to follow as she went a tiny bit deeper into the woods. Not out of sight, but far enough to where they can't see each other.

Duskwatcher:

Duskwatcher let out his breath (if he even had one) as Ashanti declined Morpheus’s offer. He glidded along beside her as she found a spot where the rest of them would settle.

He, on the other hand, wasn’t going to settle anytime soon.

Morpheus:

Morpheus looked around the spot Ashanti had chosen and shrugged. ”Eh, it could be better,” he snorted. Tinsel whacked him with her wing, glaring at him.

Ashanti:

At last, they agreed on something. They were already many trees around but no place look very comforting. She walked a few inches,then found a good open place. Of course there is trees blocking someone's view from above, but the ground was rather open. "here is good"

Loralie:

She glanced at Morpheus then followed Ashanti.It was a pretty good spot. She then trotted to the spot she would lay. Normally she would sleep upwards but a day of walking really tired her out

Morpheus:

Morpheus craned his neck up, glancing through the rays of sunlight escaping through the canopy. He then looked back at them and nodded. ”Yes, a place to rest would be fantastic.”

Ashanti:

She wanted to know what is like... Dream walking. Or at least see what it was like but Duskwatcher's voice wouldn't leave. Curiosity killed the cat.... Curiosity killed the cat. She couldn't focus on anything else. It was like it was embedded into her brain. "You know what" She started then look up to the sky. "its getting late, we should find a place to rest." She finished.

Loralie:

She flicked her tail eagerly. She is a very quiet Pegasus so she would always leave Morpheus to reply. But when necessary she would butt in. She looked at Morpheus awaiting his answer.

Mossroot:

She nodded thanks to Hugur and looked around the herd. Everyone seemed to be either resting or grazing contently, so she picked up the blackberries and examined it to make sure it wasn’t a death berry. Once she was satisfied, she shoved a couple in her mouth. The berry exploded between her teeth, thick juice rolling down her muzzle.

She handed some to Starbrook, “Blackberry? Don’t worry-they’re not death berries. They are, however, very juicey.” She nickered, enjoying the sweet and ripe treat.

Whitesky covered her with his wing, and curled up next to her drifting off to sleep with her.

Lonestar:

She curled up next to him and drifted off again

Whitesky, "Alright." he said to her not really in the mood to fight with anyone.

Lonestar:

"Papa come nap with me!" She said

Whitesky eyed the yearling, "You better." he snorted to him, turning his attention back to the filly attached to his leg, "Now what to do with her." he thought in his head.

WIndborn:

"Dont worry Whitesky I'll behave"

Caita, "He better not." she said with no second thought needed.

Windborn:

He nuzzled her gently. "Oh well he cant do anything to me." he said softly

Caita, shrugged her wings, "I don't know, he left me a long time ago, so I wouldn't really know." she stated to him looking back at Windborn instead of her brother.

Windborn:

"Why is he over protective?" He asked laughing at the little filly clinging to the stallion

Bumbleberry:

"I dont know Vida well." he said softly to Anblick. It was true he had only known her for a few weeks and even then they were not close

Hugur came back to the mare with the ingredients that she needed, "Here you go ma'am." he said with a smile dropping them at her hooves.

Anblick:

He frowned, but nuzzled Bumbleberry, “It’s not that, brother. Vida just needs you more than I do right now.“ He chirped, his golden eyes flashing.

Mossroot:

She sighed slowly, grateful for his willingness to help her. “Nothing right now. Everyone seems to be either resting or not injured enough for my help.” She said quietly, allowing her wings to collapse by her sides and her neck lower toward the ground. Her eyes sagged and her ears drooped.

Caita, "I think he is protective of me, though I don't know why." she whispered back to him, looking over at her brothers face and laughing.

Whitesky, "Don't laugh at me." he said with a goofy pouty face, as he gave Windborn the death stare again.

Windborn:

"He's staring." He whispered in Caita's ear as he lay behind her

Caita smiled towards Windborn as Tideflight layed curled up under her wing.

Whitesky eyed Windborn with harsh eyes, not liking how close he was with his sister, even though he had a foal problem of his own.
