Stormwind and Wingsong trotted through the lush grass in silence. For the rest of the night the duo made their way to the Interior. It was a full moon, and it would take another complete moon to get there. ”We’re almost to a lake.“ Wingsong nickered, breaking the silence. ”We can rest there for a bit, then continue.” Stormwind nodded, and lifted slightly off the ground. ”My wings are starting to cramp, I hope you dont mind,“ he whispered. ”Not at all,“ Wingsong replied. A few minutes later, Wingsong trotted to the edge of the clear water. Stormwind landed next to her and dipped his muzzle into the water, along with Wingsong. Stormwind smirked and got this bright idea to sneak behind Wingsong and shove her into the lake. With a squeal, the filly lost her balance and fell into the water with a splash, showering Stormwind in droplets of water. Wingsong rose to the surface and pinned her ears. ”Hey! Not cool!” Stormwind nickered uncontrollably and dodged Wingsong’s back hooves. ”I will get you for that!“ She whinnied.
