I needed to know what would happen after Windborn so this is my story. It might have spoilers but ok here goes.

The foals:

Name: Morningstar

Age: New born to 2 months.

Family: Sire: Star. Dam: Morningleaf. Brother: Starleaf

Home: River herd. (Old sun herd territory)

Looks: Black filly with her mother's blue wings. Star on her forehead. Black mane and tail golden eyes (Like Stars when he used to use his powers to heal)

Personality: Sweet understanding friend. Loves her family and adores her Sire. Favorite thing to do is fly with her sire and see the whole of Anok.

Name: Starleaf

Age: New born to 2 months

Family: Sire: Star. Dam: Morningleaf. Sister: Morningstar

Home: River herd (Old sun herd territory)

Looks: Chestnut colt with a stripe down his nose. His wings were pure white edged in silver. Black mane and tail but silverish hooves. Blue eyes that sparkle

Personality: Calm quick strong foal. Likes to count and divide his enemys. He is very much like Morningleaf. She is his favorite person in the world.

Almost a year after the defeat of Nightwing:

Morningleaf lay in the grass and have a soft scream in pain. Her foals were coming now. "Sweetroot! Help!" She shouted and heard the gentle mare gallop toward her then she heard the thudding hooves of Star.

"Shhh breathe Morningleaf I have delivered plenty of foals and you are doing ok!" Sweetroot said calmly giver her some white willow for the pain.

"Sweetroot what can I do?!" Star asked frantic. He was pacing you would think after a battle with Nightwing nothing would faze him but he was terrified.

"Go away Star I can handle this! Please go away!" Her voice calm and firm.

Star trotted away.

"Sweetroot it hurts!" She shrieked. Every breath hurt! She felt something and screamed again.

Sweetroot calmed her with her wing tips on her stomach. "They are coming Morningleaf!" She gently helped guide the foal out and it lay on the ground. Then Morningleaf screamed again and another foal landed on the ground.

"Sweetroot is it over yet?" She asked tears dripping from her eyes.

"Yes you have 2 beautiful foals. 1 colt and 1 filly. The filly was born first and is pure black with blue wings and the other looks like you but with white feathers tipped with silver!" She said happily.

Morningleaf gently stood up and then lay down next to her foals. She let them come close to her and the colt nuzzled her and started to nurse. She sighed and slept in bliss, not know shadows would soon enter her life.

Star he walked up to Morningleaf and saw the foal who he knew would grow up like him. He lay down beside them and she opened her eyes. They were the beautiful golden that his eyes had taken on when he used his healing fire. The powers this foal could have had..... But no he loved her. "Hello darling!" He whispered gently.

"Twar!" She whinnied in her foal's voice.

He snuggled closer to her and she fell asleep in his wings.

The next morning:

Something woke Morningleaf from a deep sleep. A sharp bleat from her new born colt. He was hungry and mad she was not feeding him. She sighed and used her wings to guide him and he nursed greedily. She looked for her filly and saw her curled up with star. She blinked away the tears that started to come. She loved Star and was scared if he would die what would happen to her and their foals.

Star woke up and looked at Morningleaf with a smile. "Did you name them?"

"No I wanted you to help," She said moving away from the colt wanting some milk for her filly.

"How about Morningstar for the girl. And-"

"Starleaf for the boy!" She joined in with over flowing joy at finding the perfect names.

Star nudged Morningstar toward Morningleaf. The filly fought him but finaly went to her mother and nursesd for a little while
