Rainfeather awoken, her hide drenched in sweat. Rainfeather looked to her side and saw Hazelblaze sleeping contently with her wings on Rainfeather's side. Rainfeather swallowed her disguist and stood. They arrived a moon ago. Everything ran smoothly. It felt eerie in Nightwing's old cave. She hadn't agreed to stay in Nightwing's cave but Hazelblaze insisted. "It's warmer in there. Nightwing is dead remember?" But paranoid old Rainfeather said. "But he's in the beyond!" She believed in ghosts but didn't tell her in that way. But eventually. Hazelblaze won the fight once again and the decision was made. Her odd dream already began to dim as she thought about it. Something about a Sandwen clan. She shook her mane. Now was not the time to think about petty myths. Elmwing was here, with Lightray and Starfrost. For some wierd reason. "Up so early?" Rainfeather spooked. "What do you want Hazelblaze." Hazelblaze blinked. "Just asking." Rainfeather changed the subject. "When are we going to look around?" "I was thinking tonight. But the landwalkers are out there." "Those are just myths." "Says the pegasus that still believe Nightwing is actually alive." "You should look at yourself sometimes." She snorted.
Soon, it was night. Rainfeather could barely see the whiskers in front of her muzzle. "I'm ready" Hazelblaze said. "Okay. Let's go." Rainfeather kicked off and cruised to the jungle. But neither of them knew who or what they would encounter."
