Moon sighed, “You know how I have dreams about a stallion burning up a field of pegasi,” Whitecloud nodded, “well, this time, the s-stallion l-looked up at me and said, ‘Your herd is next” Moon shuddered at these last words.
Whitecloud pawed her hoof on the ground anxiously, she looked at Moon with worry in her eyes, “thank you for telling me Moon. We should move up the migration, all the foals are already weaned.” With that Whitecloud shot to the air and trumpeted.
“I have decided to move the migration to later today, we are already prepared to leave.” Whitecloud’s voice boomed across the valley, Moon watched as Whitecloud landed and started separating the pegasi into groups, the walkers, and two sets of pegasi that leave at separate times.
After a while Whitecloud stopped at Moon, “You’re in the group that leaves now” Whitecloud nickered.
Moon nodded, and then she flew up the group of pegasi that were waiting for her. Moon flinched as glances of distrust looked at her.
“Come on,” shouted a stern voice, “if we leave now, we’ll be there in a few days,”
This voice was now familiar, it belonged to Snowfire, he was one of the youngest captains in the herd.
Moon flew beside a few pegasi, she hoped they would reach their migration territory soon. Moon glanced around the group hoping to see a familiar face, Moon sighed when she didn’t spot Lightheart.
Moon winced at a flash of pain went through her head making her stop, Moon shook her head quickly shaking off the pain and continued flying.
Suddenly Moon’s wings spasmed and she fell, Moon tried to regain her balance but pain seared through her vision, her vision faded to blackness, Moon continued to fall.
