So todays challenge form Love Those Cats' Winged September Drawing Challenge, was to draw my least favorite ship. Well, this morning I was trying to think of the ship that I dislike the most, and I realized that 'least favorite ship' could be interpreted in a few different ways:

1. two pegasi you would most hate to see as mates

2. pegasi, that are already mates, who did, or are currently doing things you dislike

3. two pegasi who either become mates, or were already mates, but you didn't like them together

4. or because one of the pegasi in the relationship is a character your not a big fan of

After a wile of thinking, and trying to determine witch ship was my least favorite, and why, I remembered that Icewing/Iceriver and Petalcloud had originally been mates at the beginning of the series. And after thinking about those two, and how I felt about their relationship, I realized, that out of all the TGH ships, Petalriver was the one that made me feel most irritated.

I mean, yeah, it's Petalcloud! But that's not really why I feel irritated about this ship. For starters, this couple only came to be because Petalcloud talked Icewing/Iceriver into becoming mates, and then Petalcloud just gave away the only foal of theirs that survived birth. Sure, both of those things were mostly Petalcloud's doing, but Icewing/Iceriver allowed Petalcloud to talk him into taking her as his mate, he didn't punish her for letting Rocking take Frostfire, and later he even cheated on Petalcloud, and sired a foal with another mare.

So honestly, this ship irritates me because, wile Petalcloud was pretty bad, she ends up taking the blame for a lot of the things Icewing/Iceriver did, and he gets away with those things.
