Ok cool. I’m slightly considering (but not really) to stop reading them at Book 5, The Brightest Night. It’s a very satisfying, happy(ish) ending so I kinda want to stop. I don’t actually, but it’s a very good stopping point.

Also Dragon and Flamefrost, you can read Darkstalker’s book at any random time. It’s set 2,000 years before the main Wings of Fire books, so it’d be safe to read whenever.

My annoyance is that there are so many plot twists and evil schemes and stuff. I don’t like the change in narrators that much, but I can see why it’s necessary. And I know about Gill now. Good grief. See? Complicated.

Aww, book four is so upsetting and- oops, almost gave a spoiler... Anyway. book five is too focused on Sunny in my opinion. But book six is amazing!

So I went to Barns and Nobel yesterday, and tried to find WoF book 1. They had every single book in the series except the for #1! But ended up getting 'Warriors: A Vision of Shadows: Book 3: Shattered Sky' instead, so I can't complain

3) Hmmmm........ When Peril found out about Katrelle (I forget how to spell her name), when Sunny told her friends she’d befriended all her guards, aaaand when Peril kept coming back to talk to Clay again and again and again. Found that last one totally adorable. Especially the way Clay was trying to teach her how to be good.

I'll have to read it.

I love that series!

There are five in the first arc, The Dragonet Prophecy, the Lost Heir, the Hidden Kingdom, the Dark Secret and the Brightest Night.

There are five in the next arc, Moon Rising, Winter Turning, Escaping Peril, Talons of Power, Darkness of Dragons.

Finally there's the first book in the next arc called the Lost Continent. which came out a few days ago.

So, eleven books in total. I have only read up to Winter Turning, because someone else at my library always has the books I'm on checked out XD

My ships? There's a few I won't mention yet, but my ships after reading the first book were Sunny/Starflight and Peril/Clay. My favorite character is probably Glory.

Favorite part of the book? When Tsunami and Clay first feel freedom. Also when Queen Scarlet gets hit by acid.

Least favorite part? Probably all the scavenger deaths... kind of disturbing to think about. I also didn't like how Tsunami was forced to kill another Seawing deprived of its element.

I've never read WoF, maybe I should look into it as well
