So, we did a project for Social Studies. We picked any greek creature, person, or god/goddess. I chose Atalanta at first, then, Artemis or her Roman name: Diana. I traced this from a picture, What do you think compared to the picture? please tell the truth:D! Also sorry I have not been on here a lot.
Here it is!

Whoah, that’s the longest message I’ve ever made. 0_0 sorry!
And seriously, you guys are upset about people using mythology and changing it to their liking for superheros? I’m every single story with pegasi and unicorns, they do the exact sameness thing. Take My Little Pony for instance. If you knew how pegasi and unicorns REALLY acted and how they came to be, you’d be terrified and grossed out instead of cooing over them. It can’t be kinda annoying when they twist important figures and events around though, especially if they aren’t olds tales, but actual historical events that happened.
*Spoiler*:
(The guy Wonder Woman killed in the movie? He wasn’t an actual person, and he lived past WWII. And Ares, her brother that’s the Amazons are trying to defeat? He’s actually their father. It’s why the Amazons was were so warlike and violent.
XD no, I’m not from New York. Rick Riordin’s take on the myths are basically the same as the originals. However, he does prefer to use the darker, more tragic variations.
thank you Isabelle!! lol havent seen you in a long time! and Navy thank you! i fixed it some time though it still looked like weird XD! are you new? if you are then WELCOME TO THE MB! IF YOUR NOT THEN gods it urghhh i hate caps lock! if your not then Hey! lol Isabelle, i got most of my mythology from Rick Riordan's books!!! and your name is like my classmate.... you are in New York?..... her name is isabelle with and a at the end and slightly different from the last name....
not to be rude but i don't really like it its very in proportionate and some of the physical features look i don't know maybe ...................................................................................................................... a bit weird
*sigh* another internet mythology debate.
Bellona is a deity unique to Roman stories only. She has no Greek equivalent.
Athena is the Greek counterpart of Minerva. She had a lesser role in Roman culture than Bellona.
Artemis is the Greek counterpart of Diana. Wonder Woman was named after her because she was important to the Amazons, an all female culture. Atalanta was a virgin huntress like Artemis, so they were associated with each other and thus have similar statues.
Great work on the pic!
