Hello Herd Nerds! Yes, I have been gone awhile, and I am very sorry about that. Summer has just been kind of crazy you could say XD.
Anyway, I wanted to update you guys on something’s that have been keeping me off of here, and something’s that are on my mind, so here we go!
Am I still writing TGH Blazewind fanfic?
Yes, I want to finish it more then ever. But a few new ideas have sprung into my mind, and they are taking over TGHBW. So I am not sure if I should put it on hold or discontinue it :/.
Another thing is, me and my best friend are writing a book together. We finished book one and that's what I have been focusing on lately. We plan on publishing this book, and I’m super happy to say that we might just do so! The book has over 60,000 words, that is the most we have both ever written! Some of our families have read it, and they tell us that it looks pretty good! (I don’t know if that is true or not though ^^;). This book is equine based like most of my stories, and we have been working on it since last summer. So that is why Blazewind is coming out so slowly, hehe…..sorry ^^;.
I’ve been starting to attend writer workshops and events to help me pursue my dream of becoming an author, which has kept me from fan fiction and such. I feel excited about this because this is something I’ve always wanted to do. Ever since I could spell a word I wrote stories, created worlds in my mind, and came up with characters on four legs! Writing is my life, and so are horses, and now I am so close to achieving that dream! It makes it even better that I have an extra head to make the adventure last longer :D.
This isn’t a good-bye at all! I’m just thinking about if I should continue writing Blazewind. I love The Guardian Herd as much as I love writing <3.

I knew a ten-year-old once who looked 13. When she said she was 10, I was like, ”Wait, are you messing with me?” So I can imagine that. And in my opinion you act about.... 12-and-a-half? 13?
You woke up to craziness. And, even though I am ten years old, I look and act MUCH maturer than my age, so I act like maybe a 14 year old? At least someone who's much more mature than a ten year old XD

Also, if we did meet up in real life, you guys would be surprised XD. On here, I'm a pure hearted shipper, but in real life, I'm one of the people who get shipped. Unless I'm shipping my friends lol.

Yes I know what it is. It's like the Series of Unfortunate Events. The author used the pen name, Lemony Snicket.
And Cass a pen name is a false name for the author, so they do not use their real name. So like the author of The Series of Unfortunate Events, using the false name, Lemony Snicket.
So if Jasper and Taylor are both 16, Dragon isn’t the oldest member of the MB.. but Wispi what is a pen name? I’ve never heard of that.

But woah! I went to BN.com and looked up all the books you said she wrote, and I asked my mom to check out a few for me. (She always likes to check the books I want before I buy them.) They looked very, very interesting.

XD. It's just the majority of the members on here are between the ages of 12 and 14. Surprise! There's a sixteen year old on here XD.

Lol. The only reason I know The Guardian Herd books is because I saw it in the store, my mom saw the authors name, and said she knew the author and talks to her from Twitter from time to time, so it's all thanks to my mom being an author that I have the books :)

Inara, age is just a number! Pharaoh Tutankhamun (King Tut) of the ancient Egyptians was only nine when he became king. But more focused to the point, Jasper isn’t all that much older than you and she’s trying to get published. So go for it!

Ooh, I hope they do. It’s a great name. But before you send it to publishers, I highly recommend reading a book called The School Story by Andrew Clements. It’s about a girl much like yourself who is an excellent writer and wants to get published, but her mom is a publisher and she doesn’t want her mom to know that she was the author. While I don’t think doing all the stuff in the book is a great idea, it is quite eye-opening about the editorial process.
