The last comment:
Froststone:
Froststone stirred, snorting in his unconsciousness, as if he were running. Suddenly his eyes flew open and he jerked his head up, swear rolled down his brow and froth covered his neck, "Where- where am I?" He cried, his sides heaving up and down from panic.
(Okay peeps, I'm making a part 3 now! Plz don't comment on here the best you can!)
Stormwing:
Stormwing threw up his head and trumpeted a loud over-stallion call for his warriors to gather, "You may NOT leave, Bloodwing, with our foal that YOU kidnapped," he snarled, slicing the air with his hooves, "You aren't going to take Lakestar with you again against his or my will!"
Fernbreeze:
She shook her head when Sparkfire contradicted her words, but she let it slide. When she heard him say he thought the water was safe, she lowered her muzzle an inch deep in the icy water and took in a long gulp.
The cold water slid through her throat like a stiff glacier and settled in her stomach. It wasn’t pleasant, but she didn’t complain.
( Yeah, that’s what I thought lol )
Cinderfrost,
Cinderfrost glared at Bloodwing,
It was not right for him to keep Lakestar, she wanted to tell at him, but she held her tongue.
'Why must Mountain Herd be so crule?' She thought to herself.
(No Lakestar was caught again. I never agreed to let Lakestar go)
Bloodwing:
"I am taking the foals Lakestar and mine!" He snarled
(I am back! Lakestar got captured again and is in mountain her tearitory now) Bloodwing:
"We will take our fillies and leave!" He said waving his wings at Everhope and Cinderfrost. "You dont want to start this war!" He said menicingly
(Can we make part 3??? My phone and computer are glitching)
Sparkfire:
He inhaled quickly and squirmed in the water, realizing what he’d said. He cleared his throat and nodded, “Uh...I think so.” He lowered his nose to the water and sniffed it deeply. He raised his head and glanced at her, “It doesn’t smell weird and the water’s clear, so I’d say so.”
Sparkfire:
He stiffened and almost forgot to paddle his legs to keep himself afloat.
Once he was stable again he said, his voice sad and even. “If it hurts to talk about, you don’t have to talk about it. Everyone always says that talking about things makes it hurt less, but I think it’s the opposite. It makes it hurt more...” He trailed off, his chest tightening with unspoken words.
Everhope trotted into the Tundra herd because she was lost. She was found by a warrior Pegasus not to far from the edge of the territory.
Everhope:
" Can someone help me? I was rejected by my herd and now i have no home."
Everhope had deep cuts from being attacked by a mountain lion last week when she was crossing the Mountain herd to arrive here. She made it into the Tundra herd and passed out in the sand.
Thornhallow:
He repeated what he had just said to Billowfall with patience, understanding that they weren’t lying and had just arrived to the scene.
Snowroot:
Her eyes flicked to Driftflame’s scar once again when he arrived. She stared at it for a moment, and then she turned away to look at Lakestar and assume the damage done to his wounds, but her ears still stayed trained at Driftflame.
(Haha! So true so true.)
Goldencloud:
The mare didn’t bother to look back at Cinderfrost. The unruly yearling had made her come all the way out here to this trenched lands. Goldencloud was close to her mate but not so close as to make pegusi around them suspect she used him for protection. She could protect herself and everyone should know that. Of course Goldencloud loved Bloodwing...but she was not dependent on him.
Driftflame:
Driftflame had finally seen another pegasus in the sky. He guessed this was Billowfall. She hadn’t noticed how close she had flown from him and he decided to follow her. After all whatever the young mare had spotted must have been important. Billowflall had shot down from the sky quickly. The white buckskin stallion quickly noticed quite the scene. Mountain Herd- Bloodwing, a battalion and what seemed to be a new lead mare Driftflame had never seen before. He descended from the sky after Billowfall. He heared the young mare ask a question to the stallion Thunderhollow they had landed behind. “Not sure. I just got here too.” He answered, making his presents known by the three steeds near him.
Cinderfrost
Cinderfrost thought to herself, 'actually I do have traitorous blood in me, my great great uncle joind this herd, so in ways some of these steeds are related to me!' She arched her neck proudly.
Cinderfrost
Cinderfrost drooped her head in sadness, she trotted over to the Moutian herd steeds, she hated her life, she would resist staying with Tundra Herd, so that way she would save more lives this way. She would live on the edge if her border, as far away from Moutian Herd as possible. . She would train herself to fight. She hated Moutian herd with all her heart and soul.
Fernbreeze:
Fernbreeze stayed quiet for some time before she answered, “No, it’s fine. I need to talk about it. If I don’t, I’ll never learn to live with it,” she said softly. She took in a deep breath and then felt her throat begin to feel dry. “Do you think this water is safe to drink?” She asked. Fernbreeze internally kicked herself afterwards, though, because, obviously, if she was swimming in it, it was probably safe to ingest.
Thornhallow:
He watched the tension between Moonwillow and Goldencloud, and had stiffened. Thornhallow almost felt the need to protect Moonwillow to defend Tundra Herd, but he refrained from doing so and kept his feelings out of the way.
Moonwillow:
The mare watched both over-stallions and her eyes dragged to Iceshard and the Mountain Herd yearling. Her gaze ended on Goldencloud. Moonwillow steadied herself as the two mares locked eyes. Her light and dark purple feathers seemed dull compared to the golden lined wings of the lead mare.
Goldencloud:
The brown mare fluffed her feathers. She arched her neck in pride of her authority as a dappled pinto mare had met her gaze. Goldencloud ripped away from her tense stare. The lead mare trotted froward next to her mate, who wasn't answering Stormwing. “Very well.“ She nickered quickly. “But we would have to ask the same for our foals.“ Goldencloud looked over her shoulder at Cinderfrost. “The yearling is coming back with us. She is part of our herd and therefore our filly.“ The mare motioned to the dapple yearling and then to herself with her wing.
Sparkfire:
He drifted away from her gently, as if he was floating too close, and clenched his jaw together into a stern grimace. He had asked something that was too personal. He saw how her face cringed and her expression deepened.
He immidiatly felt like the worse pegasus alive and he scrambled to find the words to form an apology, "I'm so sorry Fernbreeze. You don't have to say more. I asked a question I shouldn't have...I guess it's just my day for messing up."
He mumbled the last part under his breath, referring to how he went against his over-stallion's orders and attacked out of turn.
Sparkfire doesn't regret attacking Goldencloud, but he does regret the fact that he might've lost Stormwing's trust in him.
At the thought, Sparkfire grimaced again and pulled his teal and gold wings closer to his sides, as if that subtle movement would help him.
(ok now i have to go)
Fernbreeze:
Fernbreeze’s ears went back in response to the question, and her nose wrinkled. She didn’t like to talk about her sight, and she didn’t fully trust Sparkfire not to use it against her. After a few moments of silence, she answered, “I don’t know. . . . I guess, just, one day, I wok up, and it was gone.” Her voice wavered at the last part in confusion.
(sorry! gtg baiii)
Sparkfire:
He paddled closer to her and grew silent, like he was thinking deeply about something.
He floated in the water next her, staring down at the ripples in the clear water.
"Can I ask you how you lost your sight? If you don't want to answer, I understand."
Rainwillow: She looked into Foststone's eyes and all she saw was honesty. It boggled her mind that a pegasus like Froststone could actually care for her. Yeah, her brother was great and her parents were supportive and amazing, but someone else other than family cared for her. Amazed, she shook her head. Frostsone looked at her funny, but she just smiled and pressed on, trying with all her strength to get them both to the medicine mare, before it was too late.
(Bye!!)
( Bai! )
Fernbreeze:
She grinned, exasperated, while nodding enthusiastically. Now, even more than ever, she wanted to share this memory with an image.
But all she saw was the color black.
(Gtg!)
(Ok!..... WWWWINNNNNDDDFEATHER!!!!!)
(Who OWNS BLOODWING!?!?! The over-stallion needs to respond to Stormwing!)
Froststone:
Froststone felt nothing from his head, "I am," he said, "The wound just became tender and overreacted when I wasn't careful; I will be alright, the main focus is bringing you to safety."
Cinderfrost,
Cinderfrost looked up at the stallion, "I know," she wispered, "I dont want any herd to loose more lives than they already have"
Rainwillow: She gasped, suddenly realizing there was blood trickling down Froststone’s head. “Are you alright?”
Icequake:
Icequake stepped to Cinderfrost's side, gently draping his wing over her back to calm her, "There is nothing you can do when the over-stallions decide; we would love to have you here, but I don't have the power to let you stay against Bloodwing's will, it will cost many lives."
Cinderfrost
Cinderfrost backed away from the two Overstallions, "I don't want to go back!" She winnied.
Billowfall:
Billowfall whirled and galloped away on hoof from the argument, guilt tearing at her heart as her legs blurred.
Stormwing:
Stormwing approached Bloodwing lightly, "You are not welcome here," he said flatly, without any evidence of irritation, "I will let you take back YOUR foals, and not my kidnapped one. You can do this freely or be forced to leave without any of them, if you so love your little ones."
Sparkfire:
”You like that, huh? And yup-super fun.” He nickered, paddling over to her.
Thornhallow:
He watched her back up, and then looked back forward and continued to listen to the tense conversation.
Billowfall:
Sensing Thornhallow's disturbance with Billowfall right next to him, she quickly backed away; remembering he was the first to witness her foolishness, "I- um, probably am better to... go, and stay out of the way," the young mare said, edging away as the familiar guilt washed over her.
( RB? )
Thornhallow:
Thornhallow turned his head to look at Billowfall. He quickly looked away, though, still feeling some resentment to her attack on a poor colt. “Two foreign pegasi had shown up near the border, and thought themselves worthy enough to invade our lands. Three came from Mountain Herd, but one happened to be a previously stolen brother of Smokefire. Now, they are threatening to start war,” he said coldly, feeling indifferent not only about the pegasus he was talking to, but also on the topic.
Billowfall:
Billowfall rocketed through the clouds, hurtling herself toward land when she spied the over-stallion of Mountain Herd descend from the sky with a small yet vicious army. The young mare pinned her wings to fall faster, her forelock whipping in her face. The snow covered ground grew larger at every wing-length she hurtled herself. Billowfall quickly yet cautiously spread her wings and crested over the heads of her fellow herdmates.
She landed steadily behind Thornhallow, "What's going on? I missed it," she whispered, walking up to his side.
Froststone:
Froststone wrapped his wings tightly around Rainwillow and lifted her, just enough to set her on her hooves, "There, we must return to our herd; lean against me, it will be easier."
Fernbreeze:
She stumbled into a dive as he shouted the word ‘now,” and felt the winds biting against her ears. She winced in unburdened pain, not used to such turbulence battering her ears around like leaves.
Fernbreeze soon heard an echoing whoosh and she assumed that was sound bouncing off the surface of the water. In an attempt to stop herself before hitting the frigid, icy water, she pulled her nose out from the dive and landed rather smoothly into the lake.
Still, she shivered immediately as she felt her core temperature begin to drop with quick, ferocious speed. She looked over to where she heard ripples and assumed this was where Sparkfire was swimming and smiled. “That was exciting!” She gasped, her breaths coming out as hot steam.
Cinderfrost,
Cinderfrost, so used to obeying orders, flew back down to land in the crowd.
Sparkfire:
He was able to hear her last words over the rushing winds. He looked towards his direction and waited for her to get little closer. They were directly over the lake, "Now!" He nickered and flattened his wings against his side.
He fell towards the water and immediately felt the frigid temperature enclose around him as he splashed into the lake.
Stormwing:
Stormwing pricked his ears at his loyal warrior's speech, yet said nothing. The over-stallion kept his guard up, in case of any sudden decide to attack.
Thornhallow:
He snorted at Icequake’s response. Who was to say Tundra Herd wasn’t the evil? In Thornhallow’s eyes, there was no greater good, nor a worsened evil. He didn’t believe in sides of good or evil, for it was so complex, and yet so simple. No one pegasus could be either.
Not even himself.
(yup, ah know, ah got a little dramatic there)
Icequake:
Icequake rushed to his over-stallion's side, ready to protect Stormwing with his life. Rearing, he trumpeted loud and clear, for all to here him, "STOP!" He brayed, flapping his powerful wings, "THIS ISN'T DOING ANYONE ANY GOOD!" He landed, "Don't you see? All of the herds of Anok will begin fighting in confusion against their own kind if we don't begin to change."
Icequake pranced before his over-stallion, getting everyone's attention, "Bloodwing, what will happen if you DO conquer all the herds? I have the answer, they will overthrow or assassinate you; and there will be no one, or not enough pegasi to protect you," he took a breath, letting his words settle on everyone. He lifted up his head, "To be like Rockwing, is to be a cruel and hated over-stallion, one only seems to follow the wicked out of fear," Icequake leaned forward, just a wing-length away from Bloodwing, "Nightwing was the strongest and cruelest over-stallion any pegasus has ever remembered; he just was barely able to keep a hold of his herd, but every evil will be... overcome by good."
Fernbreeze:
She flicked her ears to his laughter, and felt her heart giggle in response. His resinous laughter had given away his position, but she didn’t care as she continued to smile brightly.
Then she realized she didn’t know when to dive.
“When do we start heading down towards the lake?” She shouted over the winds, hoping a captain like him would be able to hear her.
Sparkfire:
Laughter burst from his chest as the joy of flight drowned out his aching wings. He didn't care that he'd just given off his location to Fernbreeze. He glanced over his shoulder and was happy to see Fernbreeze keeping up with him fairly well.
He turned his attention back towards the lake- for it was rapidly approaching.
( Back )
(same)
( Brb gotta go take a shower )
Fernbreeze:
She gasped as he shot forward, sending a resounding burst through her ears that sent her off, flapping her wings in rhythm. Her ears swiveled as she listened for crosswinds and anything that might get in her way. She didn’t know if she ahead of or behind Sparkfire, but she did know she was smiling as if she could see again.
Sparkfire:
He stared after her, slightly shocked, but he shook it off and lifted off and flew up next to her, a huge smile brightening his face. "Straight ahead." He told her, which was true. Without waiting for her to respond, he burst forward and glided over the trees.
The wind whipped through his tail and feathers, ripping feathers out of his wings and causing them to drift to the ground below him.
Fernbreeze:
She snorted, unfurling her wings and jumping into the air. “Which direction’s the lake?” She asked, a mischievous feeling about her smile. Now, more than ever, she wished she could see his expression, his face.
Sparkfire:
He turned to face her and one corner of his lips turned up in a smirk, "Does it sound like a challenge? If it does, bring it on!" He said, a humorous and a competitive ring carried through his voice.
Fernbreeze:
She turned her heads toward him, one ear twisted in his direction. “Is that a challenge?” She said fiercely, ready to test her strength.
Sparkfire:
He shrugged in reply, but grinned handsomely. "Not really. I would've thought that you'd want to get back into the sky as fast as you could." He stated, wondering why she was cautious to fly again. She seemed like a brave pegasus.
( RB? )
Fernbreeze:
This time, she couldn't help but laugh hysterically. “You expect me to not be terrified of flying after recent events? I definitely want to walk,” she snorted. She followed the sound of his hoof steps, hoping she wasn’t too far away from him but yet not too close to him.
Sparkfire:
He chuckled and smiled, then lead the way towards the lake that was about 5 miles from the meadow. "Walk or fly?" He asked, hoping she'd propose to walk so he could give his wings a rest, but he wouldn't complain if she chose flying.
( Riverdawn? )
Fernbreeze:
Fernbreeze had grimaced before he’d invited her to come. For some reason, she had a hunch he was in terrible pain. If she was going to find out what it was, she’d have to be subtle about it. But then she smiled, genuinely happy. “How could I deny a captain?” She teased.
Sparkfire:
He glared after Smokefire as he pathetically flew after his lost brother. "Ignorant stallion." He grumbled under his breath as he folded his wings, wincing as he did so.
His back and wings still screamed in pain from when Storming had shoved him to the ground.
Why had Stormwing stopped him? Sparkfire could have stopped Goldenpine and then none of this would've happened! Instead, Bloodwing has a new lead-mare, Goldencloud escaped, and they tried to take a foal captive!
Sparkfire tried not to doubt his over-stallions decisions-and to take his mind off it- turned to face Fernbreeze.
He sighed gently and stepped towards her, "I need a break and for someone to rant to. Come with me to the lake?" He whispered his invitation so only she could hear.
(@Windfeather Lakestar is running for his life with Darkheart.)
Cinderfrost
Cinderfrost rolled her eyes at the Stallions words, she knew plenty well how to stay out of someone's way.
Brambletail,
Brambletail also flapped his wings after Windfeather took off, "I'm not staying out of all the action," he nickered, "and I love you to,"
Smokefire:
"Fine but stay out of my way!" he hissed and ignored her.
Windfesather:
"Brambletail I am following them!" She said as she hugged him and said. "I will come back! I love you!" Then she turned and flew away
Cinderfrost
Cinderfrost flew to the side but still kept up with Smokefire, "if I can't change your mind I'm coming with you," she
Cinderfrost,
Cinderfrost flew to the side of Smokefire but still kept up with him.
"If I can't change your mind, I'm coming with you," Cinderfrost said.
Smokefire:
I Dont want to kill you so MOVE! I am going after my brother you cant stop me!" he shouted. (I think Sage is needed in the sandween rp)
Cinderfrost,
Unfazed by the word traitor, she regaind her balance, and flew back after Smokefire,
"Contrary to what you might thing, I am a traitor in mountain herd's view" Cinderfrost nickered, "you must know that you can't take on a whole herd yourself, You could get killed! Would your brother want that? I know this is hard for you, it's hard for me also! Trust me, if I was stealthy enough, I would go get your brother back," Cinderfrost said with pity showing in her eyes and voicd.
Lakestar:
He had been recaptured and he accepted it with calmness. He knew his overstallion would do what was best for the herd not for him. That was smart
Smokefire:
He did something he would regret. He rammed her and shouted. "GET AWAY FROM ME!! YOU MOUNTAIN HERD TRAITOR!" He kept flying after her brother
Cinderfrost,
Cinderfrost darted after Smokefire, she flapped her powerful wings and flew in front of him, "I know your scared for your little brother, but going after him, would only make it worse! I would go after him also! But I know that if I return I will be punished! So please stop! We will find a way to get him back." Cinderfrost winnied.
Smokefire: "NO!" He shrieked and darted after Lakestar
Sparkfire:
”They took Lakestar, Smokefire‘s brother. But, I don’t think they got very far. I think he managed to escape.” He informed her, glaring at the place that Bloodwing has just stood. Sparkfire folded his wings and winced at the flaming pain that traveled up his shoulder blades-his wings and back still ached from when Stormwing rammed him. He had hit the ground pretty hard, but tried to hide his pain-they had bigger things to worry about.
Fernbreeze:
Fernbreeze had been on edge the entire time. She had listened, and in each voice had deciphered the emotions and what the true words were behind the fake ones. She turned to Sparkfire’s voice and nodded. “Yes, but only because of you.“ She whispered. “Anyways, who did they take with them?” She asked. Snowroot would want to hear about this.
Snowroot:
Outrage fueled her muscles and that of her gatherers as they took off after Lakestar, shouting angry comments. Lakestar needed to come back! He wasn’t fully healed! Once he was fully healed, she would have no problem with letting them have him, but not so early in the recovery process!
Thornhallow:
His eyes had went to his feathers when he felt a small brush and was surprised to see it was Moonwillow. He secretly watch her as she side-stepped away, and then he looked back forward, wondering first, why she had come so close, and, second, why she had moved away.
( Sorry, I had SERIOUSLY late soccer practice last night and only had time to shower xD )
Sparkfire:
He watched in horror as the two Mountain herd steeds stretched the young colt.
He glanced to Smokefire, pity filled his gaze. But, when Bloodwing and his new mate left, Sparkfore relaxed and looked to Fernbreeze. “They left. You alright?” He asked, trying to hide the concern edging his voice.
(I love how throughout this Rainwillow and Froststone are both hurt and possibly dying, while Driftflame is in some field, just chilling.)
Cinderfrost
Cinderfrost backed away several steps away, that way she would have an escaping chance if a steed from moutian herd tried to capture
Darkheart: Hearing a shout from that awful Mountain Herd mare made him run faster than he thought possible.
”Lakestar,” he panted. “We have to hide. I know just the spot, but you have to be fast and follow my orders exactly.”
(Eep)
Goldencloud:
”GET THAT COLT!” She ordered a quarter of the battalion to race after the unruly young stallion who had surprised one of the warriors. She used her new authority well.
(Plot twist...)
Darkheart: All the noise had made him move away from Snowroot. When he saw them try to take Lakestar back to Mountain Herd, and nobody seemed to be doing anything about it, even his father and mother were silent, something inside him snapped. With a cry, he rushed to Lakestar and somehow knocked out the two stallions holding him. With everyone still shocked and frozen, he grabbed the pegasus and together they ran as fast as they could, away from the still surprised Mountain Herd.
Goldencloud:
The mares long back mane had ceased to blow in the wind. Her body had heated up from her intense emotions making her sweat. Her mane and tail were now flattened over her neck and hind. She just noticed how cold her hoovesand feet had gotten from the freezing temperature. “Let’s leave this cursed land before our legs turn purple.” She muttered, glancing down at her snow speckled hooves.
Bloodwing:
"Sorry but I think they have chosen. Grab the colt and take him home to mountain her. We will deal with him later!" He said
Goldencloud:
She looked over at Stormwing as if over-stallion was a way to mock him. “Or should we let the others decide? They already seem to be making up their minds.”
Lakestar:
"Stay free tundra herd dont die because of me!" He shouted as another spear of pain roared through his body as they streached him
Goldencloud:
Her voice has boomed over the pegusi. For a while there was silence. Goldencloud stepped back and tucked her wings close to her sides. she had retreated back next to her mate. “Looks like you all are making the wrong decision~” Goldencloud turned her head to her mate. Finally someone who saw the world the way she did. “How about we see if the over-stallion has any sense left in him?”
Bloodwing:
"So you want him hurt?!" Bloodwing laughed cruely
"No!" Cinderfrost cried as shexsaw Lakestar get hurt,
"And I do not speak for Tundra Herd, but I know this from stories, the Moutain herd steeds left because of a cruel Overstallion, joing you will only make it the same from when the left the herds years ago!" Cinderfrost winnied as she stomped the hard ground with her hoof.
Windfeather:
"No!" She shouted.
Smokefire:
He sobbed and dropped to the ground. "Please dont hurt him!"
Goldencloud:
”Pegusi of Tundra Herd. Some of you decide from Mountain Herd! You come from traitors, and as you live here you only continue their contaminated blood. You can make yourselves right. By joining Mountain Herd you release yourselves of such causes. If you join us we will welcome you and treat you like our own. If you choose not to...” Goldencloud looked over her shoulder at the two stallions who held Lakestar. She nodded at them and they flew away from each other, spraining the colt and making him help in pain. “Your choice.” She hissed, with a smile on her face.
Cinderfrost,
Cinderfrost glanced from Bloodwing, to Goldenclould, to Smokefire, and to Lakestar, she did not know how she could help.
Bloodwing:
He listened intently
Goldencloud:
”You did, but that uneducated medicine mare of theirs tried to mend them back together.“ She muttered to Bloodwing as she had leaned close so that only he could hear her. “And this ...is what we should do.” Goldencloud stepped forward and spread out her wings. The Natalie gold to each of her feathers ends glistened making many spikes of light across the gathered steeds.
