Mother-daughter:
There we go! I like that better
cool names!
Cute, but grullos need to have black legs (like bays and buskskins), and a dorsal stripe
Here's Whisperfrost! My newest oc! (I'm still kinda making adjustments)
Cool!
Thanks lightningblaze!
I have the plot for the Fanfic planned out, and I think the two main characters are going to be a filly and colt and maybe like 2 adults.
I do know that the filly's name will either be Whisperfrost or Winterflower.
that a nice idea
I do almost the exact opposite XD
I find my coat color first. Then find wing color. Then find personality. Then find name XDDDD
OOF
This might help to- https://www.pinterest.com/sophiaxin27/tgh-ocs/
Okay, here's what I do when making new OCs:
Start with figuring out what you want your character to be like. Is there any special traits they have? What is the character's purpose? What is one word you think would describe them?
Next I work on the name, which I usually do by making a list of words that I think reflect the his/her character. For example, I might put words like dark, night, frost, or black on the list of I'm making a dark, sinister character. Or if it's going to be an energetic, hopeful character, I might put down sky, echo, dawn, or sparrow. Then when I think I have a sufficient list, then I began mixing and matching.
Once I get that done, I start working on the coat coloring(s). By this point I usually have a rough idea of what I want him/her to look like, so then I start googling pictures of horses with the colors I want, and sometimes this takes a few differently worded searches, but I almost always find the perfect picture.
Last, I work on the wing color. I find googling what tack colors go with the coloring I selected tends to work pretty well, and also keep the name in mind to, because sometimes there are certain colors that will go with it.
Yay ^^
True....eh I was just brainstorming. Anyway, I will do a contest, someday, and I will create a Fanfic...once I create the character. if anyone has any suggestions, I will gladly take it! And, also, once i get a plot and a few main characters for the FanFic, if anyone wants their own OC to be included, just say so and I will include your character in the Fanfic!!! Ta-Da!!!!!
I sort of agree with Dragon here. I love the idea of a drawing contest, but by definition, an OC is an Original Character. Original to their creator and owner, who are the same person.
Or after (if you do a contest) the contest you will get ideas of how to do your OC
OOOOO YES PLEASE DO A CONTESSSTTTTT
Hmm... RB, I kinda think the whole point of an OC is that the creator is the one using him/her. In my opinion (no offence) it's lazy and unimaginative to ask others to do it for you. Names are one thing, but the whole pegasus? I think this is something you should be doing
Morningdrop, Lavenderflame, Jadeshine, Ambersong, Solarstorm?
