"Who?" Elmglade, Ashleaf, and Aspenbreeze asked at the same time. "The black foal, Spiderstone, hes in Desert Herd, maybe we can ask him." The 3 looked at him like hes gone mad. Sure Spiderstone didn't destroy them, but that's because hes to lazy to. At least, that's what Elmglade thinks. If I had that starfire... he trailed off. Darkray drew him out of his thoughts by Darkray. "I know its risky but its up to Elmglade." He looked at him. Going to Spiderstone was dangerous. It reminded him of his grandsire who wanted information from there black foal in Lake herd. But this was different. He was aloud to, wasn't he? "I'll do it." Ashleaf said. "Me to." Aspenbreeze called. "Then I'm in." Elmglade grinned. "Lets go." Darkray whinnied. The pair kicked off. Elmglade gripped the current with his wings propelling himself foward. Soon they will meet Spiderstone. They rested each night. And flew all day. The days flied past almost as fast as he flew. Soon, what seemed like years, they arrived. They entered Desert herd. "I'm... so... tired..." Ashleaf staggered sideways, and Elmglade caught her in his wings. Elmglade was to, and thirsty. He knew it was the same for Darkray and Aspenbreeze. He wished he could say lets rest, eat, and drink, but there wasn't any water or grass for miles. It pained him to say. "I know. We all are. But we have to keep going. Red Stone mountains are only a mile from here." Ashleaf righted her self and got up. A few hours later they were head to head with all of Desert Herd. Sandwing walked up to them. "Your weanlings. Snow herd I presume?" Elmglade said nothing. "Give me a reason why I shouldn't hold you captive or send you back to your herd?" "We aren't here to cause trouble, were looking for Spiderstone." Aspenbreeze whinnied. "Spiderstone is dead, now leave."
