The following years past. Moonlight had learned much about the starfire her years. But had not to success her destiny. She laid back and became mates with Smokewind. With the over-stallion dead (her father) from a stand-off to become over-stallion of Snow Herd, and a large stallion named Icewing the new over-stallion, passing on his father's mission was the least she can do. Life went smoothly and she had a dashing colt, looking much like his father. She gave the name, Elmglade.

Elmglade basked in the morning sun with his three friends, Nightray, and the two twin sisters, Aspenbreeze and Ashleaf. Elmglade narrowed his eyes at the cheerful chattering. "Aren't we supposed to be looking on about starfire?" His friends looked at him with blank expressions. Suddenly he felt noticed how he sounded and lowered his head. "I'm sorry. I just don't want to fail my mother, or my grandsire." Aspenbreeze nodded, understanding. "We know, and we'll help but-" "But we don't really know where or how we can find info about something we know little about." She finished for her. Elmglade flared his nostrils, surprised, but didn't say anything. Nightray, who had been quiet most of the time, agreed. "But we want to help... actually..." All eyes landed on him. "I think I might know where we can go. Or should I say, who we can talk to."
