She waved goodbye with her wing, then watched the two set off toward Dusk herd. She watched them until they disappeared over the horizon. Riverbreeze turned to Spiderangel, "While they are at Dusk herd, we will rest until it is our turn." she said, going over to the shade for a nap.

She maintained her position from the back, allowing the grey stallion to create a draft and look into the territory when that would come in sight. Rainshine's wings were wide, long, and powerful. She flew to the left of Snowfrost, beating her own wings as a way to think. They continued in silence.
Snowfrost lifted off, and hurried after Rainshine, catching up to her quickily. After a few minuets, he coasted in front of the bay mare, realising that they would make better time if he was in the lead. And like this the pair set out on the long trip north.
"Ok," Rainshine said, dipping her head down nodding. She spread her wide wings and leapt up into the already darkening sky, waiting for Snowfrost to follow.
"Leaving now would put us in Dusk Herd by tomorrow night. " he pointed out, anxious to get going. Snowfrost was worried that the longer they put off leaving, the more likely it was for someone in the group to get cold hooves, and he didn't want to risk having anyone back out at the last moment.
Rainshine nickered laughingly and said, "Don't worry sister, I'll come back in one piece.. hopefully. I won't start any fighting... should we go? Right now, Snowfrost?
Snowfrost nodded, "Got it." Then the gray stallion glanced up at the sky, noting that the sun was just passed it's peak, " We should probably leave sooner then later. "
She nickered at the sisters. "Just a side-note: Remember, we have no idea what Dusk herd is capable of. So, do not engage! Only gather information, please. Or else we might have to rescue you, as well." she said, partly joking, but mainly being serious.
Spiderangel nodded, wrapping her wings around Rainshine and pulling her into a hug. “Stay safe.“ She let go, putting on a teasing look. “And don’t you dare get captured, even if you’re curious.”

Spiderangel went to her sister’s side. “Are you sure you’re up for this kind of mission? This is your last chance to back out if you want to.”
