I was five days before Pineberry, decided Patchfeather's wounds had healed enough that they wouldn't open again when she moved.
Patchfeather was glad to be out of the cave, it was boring in there, and it also reminded her that Dragonfrost still hadn't opened his eyes yet. Sunnyglow had gone back to clearing two days before, but she still was having nightmares, though they weren't as bad as before.
Patchfeather stepped out into the sun light, and had blink several times before her eyes adjusted to the bright light. a lot more of the snow had melted now, leaving behind an unpleasant gray sludge, but it was still better than the cave.
Smokemoon flew over and landed in front of Patchfeather. "I'm so glad your okay." Smokemoon said, as she wrapped her dark blue wings around Patchfeather.
Patchfeather freed her self form Smokemoon's wings and said, "I glad to see you to, but you could have visited me anytime in the cave."
"I know, but I thought, since I was the one who made Dragonfrost run away in the first place... you wouldn't want me around." Smokemoon lowered her head, and tears rolled down her face. "I'm so sorry Patchfeather, this is all my fault."
Patchfeather lowered her head so she could look into Smokemoon's eyes, "This isn't your fault Smokemoon, you couldn't have known. Anyway Dargonfrost and I should have known better then to stay on the ground."
Smokemoon lifted her head a bit, but she still seamed to blame herself. "How bout you come in and see Dragonfrost, he's not awake but I'd think he'd want us to."
Smokemoon looked grate full as she fallowed Patchfeather into the cave. They stayed there all afternoon.
Then, as the sun was setting, Dragonfrost opened his eyes!
