I would like to think he begins to trust Solaria more and more, and eventually falls in love with her. Don't know if this would be reciprocated. Either way, he would never quite be at peace because of the massacre of his clan and his sister's death and his disfigurement. He wouldn't be at peace, but he would be happy.

I think him being part of Solaria's ending is great! It sounds very good to me!

@Morningmist I'm trying to find all my paper notes, but i cant find them and the digital version of all the notes from long ago died on my old computer, so I'm trying to connect all the dots! I do remember who each line was connected to, but it used to be SO much deeper and there was a lot of stuff I never got around to getting done so it wouldn't make a lot of sense in the RPs current state!

1. They'll have to find another way around it. All the damage done to each character is something he did and will not be easily resolved as he's gone from them and the effects of Shadow still remain.

2. The girls who were supposed to be in that part of the riddle was Miriya and Cassi. And frail because they were babies at the time ;). Nothing to do with their characters because that's really not a good descriptor now!

3. The first part of that is referencing Shadow and San, and then the second part was Your son to die and set them free. And the son was San's son... but not Fenn. Calore. Though he didn't really get into that too much up to this point... This line may have to take on a new meaning in modern day.

@Firesong Poor computer! May it rest in piece! I get it! You made the riddle in early July of 2021, which was nearly three years ago, so it makes sense that some details changed and are others are lost to time! Wow. I still remember where I was when the riddle first appeared, and I remember pouring over it that night as I tried to figure it out.

Alrighty. Do you think they will be able to find a way to fix Fenn's memory loss? And what were Cassi and Miriya's roles in the riddle?

@Morningmist I remember seeing everyone react to it and try to figure it out! It was fun for me to try and give hints and lead you guys towards the answer! Unfortunately that's not to continue!

I do think with time, he will get better, but I'm not sure if he will ever be the same. I think he will start to remember more, and will suffer from only mild memory loss. Instead of losing everything he knows about his loved ones, he would just find he can't remember some details?

Miriya and Cassi were supposed to find a very special object that they would have had to deliver to Lander. Lander would have told the Miriya what he knew in the most vague way possible.

I find it bittersweet, too! This was very important to me for so long. We still have some characters who do not have finalized endings under their names, though.

Charla, San, Fenn, Terila, Haydi, Lander, Sash, Shadow, Calore, Rook, Logan, Dr. Fenn, Cassi, Chex, Jax, Charla, Elli, Teyla, Aider, Sharr, Marble, Caileta, Arnet, Shanara, and Lyra's stories aren't finalized quite yet. I still need to finalize Cosmo, Tolin, and Miriya.

Here is a guess at Tolin’s future! Icy, if you have other ideas, I am more than willing to change this. :)

Tolin is currently on a prisoner on a ship with Kevty, Kalom, and his parents, headed towards the Spinach Inquisitor’s base ship. Once they arrive, he would be taken to a holding cell while Spinach talked to Charla about his change of plans. The Spinach Inquisitor would make a new deal with Charla: if she can depose the current Salamander Guild leader, Tarmalane, and place someone more sympathetic to the Imperial cause in the leadership position, he give Charla her memories back. Spinach would allow Charla to use Tolin, who is the deposed heir of Salamander Guild, on her mission.

Once reunited with Charla, Tolin would give her the cold shoulder at first because of her betrayal but would slowly warm up to her again. He would be excited at the prospect of returning to his guild, but he wouldn’t approve of putting an Imperial in charge.

If Charla did manage to complete her new mission, Tarmalane would be ousted as leader and sent to Spinach for questioning. Salamander Guild would serve under a new Imperial leader. Several  guildspeople, however, would leave and join Moonbird Guild instead after the leadership change. Tolin would wish to follow Charla to Moonbird guild and set up a life for his parents and sister there.

If Charla did not complete her mission, Tarmalane would remain the leader of Salamander Guild. Tolin would eventually find acceptance in this fact. He would try to steal Charla’s memories back from Spinach. If this was impossible, he would try to take Charla into the care of his own family.

After forgiving Charla, Tolin would become more open to having a relationship with her. He would introduce her to the galaxy’s finest sweets and various other comforts. He would try to stay far far away from Dragon’s Bane Guild and the Imperials.

I have a pretty good understanding of what her future would be. In the near future, she would try to stay close to Cassi and help her out while Rick is busy. She would make an effort of getting to know Logan better and would try to reach out to Fenn to see if she could assist him in any way. She wouldn’t be involved in the plot to kill Miranda, but she would go to Miranda’s ship to loot it afterwards. Once the major plot points are resolved, she would go to Cosmo to inquire about Dr. Moonshadow’s grave. She would pay her respects to him there. In the more distant future, she would become part of Dragon’s Bane Guild and serve as a nanny to Rick and Cassi’s children. If Fenn had any kids, she would also do the same for him from time to time. She would remain fast friends with Flint. She would reunite with Tolin and her parents and would keep a good relationship with them. Her new life would take some getting used to, but she would be pleased with it.

@Firesong and I both made lists of our characters when you were inquiring about your Dotr series idea. I'll find those and post them here.

Lyra Tor, as a Force-sensitive, probably spends quite a bit of her time bugging Arnet and Co. about the Force and how to use it. She probably learns a bit about the Force from Arnet. I always imagined that Kari would eventually give her her father's lightsaber, (Any thought's @Windfeather ?) and she becomes a bit of a Jedi. She never really warms up to Marble, but manages to hold her tongue when her namesake is near.

@Stormflight I was thinking that it might be nice if Faylin and Dac went to Clan Braze to retrieve the Moondancer family's remaining possessions? Maybe they would then find a living member of the family?

Do you have any thoughts?

Dac is probably going to end up marrying Ilsana Bentu (Icy's) because that would be funny, but we hadn't figured out when they were going to meet. Faylin and Dac have been hiding for a while, so it would make since if they met Ilsana on that search. So that would be fine.

I'm not sure how there would be a surviving member of the family. The Racsers got massacred when Dac was captured. But maybe a Moondancer?

There could be a surviving Moondancer. Dac's mom and Faylin's dad could have had a sibling.

Faylin would still engage in her investigative journalism and would probably go on frequent trips for it, but she would frequently visit Dac and his family.

Shanara marries Tallis Flit, has a daughter, Mirati, and has a nice peaceful life. She and Arnet go and find Marble, and feel satisfied that at least one person in their legion has survived the war and will be happy.

Arnet's story in my head is fairly tragic and complicated and has to do with powers I've never shown him having in the RP. But said story is also written to interweave with canon Star Wars, and so won't fit the RP. Therefore, Arnet will end up having a peaceful life for once, living on Dantooine with Shanara and her family, doting on his granddaughter, Mirata "Mira" Flit.

Arnet, leaning back in his chair: I told you I could have a happy ending! Now bring me coffee, stat!

Although I've been inactive for a long time now, I thought I should come back for the ending. Nice to see you all again!

They were planning on using her to gain control of her family. They planned to eventually off her especially when she grew more and more withdrawn. They were beginning to see less use in her and knew her death would also be a damaging blow.

I like to think she may have escaped, and would have made it back to the guild. She would likely have never forgiven herself for what happened to Hayes and would have been very nervous around her family. But would have connected with her bio siblings (Chex and Jax). She would likely have become good friends with Jax and eventually settled down with someone in the guild, but would never have had children, due to never quite feeling safe after what was put in her mind, but she would have been a doting aunt when Cassi or Rick was with the children

She would struggle a lot with Lander’s death as she was always close to him, she would likely name her ship something in honor of him

Okay. Dr. Fenn's ending is simple so I won't spend a whole lot of time on it.

Once the final battle happens, he simply moves fully into the afterlife. *Thumbs up *

@Morningmist I haven't had as much time to get t o know Miracle, so I'm not quite sure. She is very close with her family and does not have the Force. I'll have to give it some thought... but if you guys have any suggestions I would love to hear them!

Miracle's fear could have something to do with her family!

It may help if you try to consider doing something more abstract? For example, Miracle could lose her innocence, suddenly become very mature and less childlike.

Hmm, that couold work! She's also always been very trusting, so this could also damage her trust and overall scar her emotionally - say the darkness shows her or she sees terrible things that she can't forget.

Logan didn't get a lot of time to develop as a character, but I feel like I know him well enough to take a guess.

Logan would find belonging in Rick's family. He would love his siblings and do his best to help and care for them. I don't think He'd grow as close to Cassi as he did to Rick, but I think he would love her just as much. I'm not sure what the extended family situation would be, but I would assume they'd all accept him especially with Lander having come before him. I think he'd grow up to work in an upper level of Dragon's Bane guild, but I'm not sure if he would be the leader of if one of Rick's Biological kids would get it? @Morningmist

That sounds good! Rick would be in favor of giving the guild to whoever he felt was most qualified for the job, so it could be Logan, Caria, or Ter.

Had to go find Gavin's story XD! But I did so here it goes!

Rook would remain very close to her family for many many years to come and would hope and pray that one day Gavin would ask her out. She likes him a lot but if he waited too long, she'd find someone else! She loves him and trusts him, but she knows what she want's and is more realistic than some of the other characters. (So note to Gavin... Don't wait!)

Family and love life aside, I think she would be a huge animal/creature lover and start maybe a rescue for animals... maybe even traveling far and wide to study different behaviors/ rescue them from things out of their control. She would love to travel but she wouldn't want to risk running into the wars and such.

If Damion and Calore did die, Gavin would need some time to grieve, but he won’t wait forever to ask Rook for her hand! I think they would be happy together.

Calore has always been such a complex character in my eyes. He wouldn't get the ending of a hero, but he will get an ending her is pleased with. Unable to ever fully remove the bomb that was planted in him, he'd choose a life of solitude. He'd make a life for himself somewhere beautiful but far away from Clan Braze and everything he has ever known. He will be happy, finding he has a green thumb and always trying to fulfill his and his cousin's dream of flying.

In honor of Raz, he decides to get a tattoo engraved into the skin over his heart.

The death of Raz is something he will never get over, especially since he never receives forgiveness from Kai. Kai continues to blame him for far too long and by the time Kai realizes that it isn't actually Calore's fault and its not fair to blame him for it, it's too late. Calore has already left.

I like to imagine that Calore would find love and live happily ever after, but I think in reality he would maybe find himself in brief relationships that he'd end when they actually started getting close. I know I know. How rude of me, but he has a BOMB in his chest. Bro would never risk other's lives for his happiness and he likely wouldn't tell anyone about it either.

He would visit home on occasion and make sure to show up for important occasions, but its a risk.

Maybe eventually they would find a way to remove it so he could return to a normal life, but he also really doesn't want to risk an experimental surgery that could kill him. Not yet.

IF you have any questions, please ask! I love Calore so much and I currently trying so hard to remember what was even happening!

@Firesong Gavin would make an attempt to get closer with Calore. Would Calore push him away like he would with his other relationships?

Also, Paola, the Archer’s Manka cat, will continue to be Calore’s companion. ☺️

@Morningmist not as much. I think he’d take him as a friend, but he may mostly do a long distance sort of thing. Frequent calls and such. He’s more set on keeping people physically far, not emotionally. That’s why he’d likely refrain from anything romantic because that’s hard long distance. Digital partner??

I think Wynter could have some sort of role in the closing of the rift. Rick would need to lead all of the keepers to the tower between worlds where Wynter resides. Wynter could then walk them through the process I had in mind to close the rift?

It makes sense that she would somehow know about how to do that 😂

I don't quite remember where he and Jendi were left off, but I do recall that Jendi was pregnant at the time. I think he and Jendi would settle down for good, out of the way of trouble, and try to raise their child/children as peacefully as possible. They would avoid reaching out to the former Rebellion because of the hurt that they have gone through and Sharr's blinding. Sharr would never reunite with Arnet and company, and Mirati's prediction of his death truns out to be a path that was altered somewhere along the way. He unfortunately dies before reaching the age of 60, because of the lasting damage from the torture and the explosion that blinded him.

Alrighty! My plan for the Keepers was to have them close the rift in the universes that Nova created. Miracle would need to meet with the other Keepers to do so.

I re-read the flashback that Charla had a while ago about the chocolate candy, and it makes so much more sense now! Cool!

I don't see the Spinach Inquisitor's troopers having killed Blaise the way they did in your flashback. We can just say that it was stormtroopers unaffiliated with Spinach who did that, and that Spinach was given Charla afterwards.

Has Moonbird guild ever commited a crime against the Empire? Or has been accused of committing such a crime?

As for steer this towards your plan a little bit more, I have some ideas. The Spinach Inquisitor would free Kevty and maybe Kalom too if she is able to persuade him. Spinach would then want to talk to Charla privately. After learning that Tolin's family was kicked out from Salamander Guild, he would change Charla's mission slightly. If Charla is able to depose the current Salamander Guild leader, Tarmalane, and place someone more sympathetic to the Imperial cause in the leadership position, Spinach would give Charla her memories back. She could use Tolin to achieve these ends. Does that sound good?

The Moonbirds have definitely committed many crimes against the Empire, but are usually pretty good at getting away with it. The few that might be tied to them have little evidence.

That does sound like a good change! But I'm not sure if she should fail or succeed, because although I do want her to get her memories back, I don't want her taking out the guild. Or maybe the plan would succeed (with or without her) and the remnants of the Salamander guild could be absorbed into the Moonbird guild. (I literally just came up with this three seconds ago, in no way is it fully formed and feel free to poke holes in it lol)

That still works! That also gives Spinach more of a motive to taking Charla's memories, to see if he could find more evidence of crimes against the Empire in them.

My idea wasn't that Spinach would have Charla destroy Salamander Guild, but put another leader in place and send Tarmalane to him for intense questioning. Salamander Guild would still exist! :)

This may be one you never considered... but I always imagined her having a role in taking out Shadow. The man who stole her son from her? I'm not sure if that is something she would do as it would be vengence, but it would probably make sense after i explain the plan for the whole "Ladder" Situation. You know... kind of like a reflection of how it began?

Firesong, you are an absolute genius. I hadn't thought of that. And Shadow has certainly done so much to her entire family. With the death of Shadow, the story would come full circle, in a fulfillment of the promise she made to San (to protect his children) and a belated fulfillment of what she was supposed to do in the first place (protect him, as his mother).

I would love if we could make that the end of her story. Shadow would certainly be trying to destroy any happy ending.

Yay!! Thank you, thank you, *Bows* :). It felt perfect to me so i wanted to throw it out there! I think I'm going to have to round up all of my thoughts and write a long comment... oooo... I'll do that when I have time!! Hopefully tomorrow! Then we can go from there and revise it as I can only speak from my point of view and what I saw happening.

Mostly reiterating what was said under Kira's section.

In the near future, Rand would do what he could to help Kira retrieve Quaze’s body and help Keath get medical attention. I don’t think he would take a role in any of the major final battles in this stage of his development unless he was roped into helping. In the later future, he would help Fitz and Mehb get adopted and continue a friendly relationship with them. Kira would help him settle down and try to move away from his thieving past. He would begin to trust Kira more and more and grow closer and closer to her. The two would begin dating. I’d imagine that they would take it very slow. Eventually, they would marry. Rand would still struggle from thieving impulses and would have a hard time getting a job, but he would find a happy life with Kira.

Gavin was currently working to locate and rescue Calore. I imagined that Paola and Calore would manage to send him their coordinates, then he would be able to request a ship to go and get them. Gavin’s other goals in the short term would be trying to convince Damion not to go through with his plan and to save Calore and Damion if possible. He would spend as much time as he could with both of them so that he could learn their stories. He would continue using BB-G39 as a messenger between himself and Rook, delivering messages and tiny gifts, like a hairpin and a bracelet!

If Calore and Damion lived, Gavin would continue trying to develop relationships with both of them. If Calore and Damion died, Gavin would use the information he learned to tell their stories. He would remain very close to his mother in either case. He would learn all he could about being a medic from Guila for the remainder of his childhood years while taking frequent trips to visit Rook and a few to the Gray family. He would try to stay away from San and Kevty on these trips, as he would feel uncomfortable because of what his father (nearly) did to Calore.

Gavin would eventually get a job as a medic, either at his mother’s ship or somewhere else entirely. He would still dance on the side and would choreograph quite a few dances in honor of Rook! He would attempt to court Rook and may, one day, marry her. 🙂

Id like to think he and... I think Steph, find each other again, and get to live a happy life once they're free. Maybe have kids? What are your thoughs, @Firesong

I believe he was with a girl named Stephanie? But i agree. I think a happy ending for them would be good. If she gets away from the hands of whoever had her?

The Spinach Inquisitor was holding Steph, Lyrinx, Chex, and Anara. I imagined that Jax, Zach, and Ted would save them at some point.

Chex and Amara's baby was sent to Gavin's old orphanage.

I think Varian would struggle a lot with his grief, mourning his brother deeply before putting himself in the role of 'firstborn'. Caring for his siblings and parents. He would likely put all thoughts of his science aside, as in his mind it, and he, killed his brother and hurt Cal. He never marries and never has children, and never shakes the belief that he murdered his brother (despite this not being the case). Eventually, in his old age I like to think he would have started to find love, and despite never marrying her, he dies happy but legacy-less (not 100% stuck with this)

I imagined there being a little girl who is Raz's namesake, Raziya, but she can be the child of one of the other siblings. :)

I really think his little sister Blayke (Is that how i spelled it?) Would have done that. She took his death really hard... but I think she would have tried to set up a way to remember and honor him.

The Spinach Inquisitor would provide Kevty with a place to stay if she needed it. In addition, I don't have any attachment towards Lory if you think Kevty would want to hurt or kill her.

I think Kevty would likely avoid him, and she wouldn't hurt Lory, though she might deliver her to Kai as an attempted peace offering

Aww, this makes me very sad. San and Kevty was possible the top ship I shipped with all my might. But I completely understand the narrative reasons for Kevty's decision. Maybe in another life or an alternate world they ended up happily together.

Anywho! I have Grown to love her. She's strong but soft when she needs to be. Such a strong feminine lady but still an absolute baddie.

She may be aged now, but she can still kick butt!

I imagine that she would work closely with her husband until the day that he dies. She'd likely help in keeping him sane when he loses Lander? ( @Morningmist ). His death wouldn't hit her nearly as hard as she never got as close to him, but the effects of it would be devastating for her. Rick and Hayes' reactions specifically. I don't remember how Pazali takes it but if she is devastated too, than her too! I don't think her role at this point will be any bigger than that. Her heart issue will remain, but it will hardly slow her down(though it will keep her from physically fighting in the final battle). She will spend her final years being a very respectful and loving grandmother to Rick's children!

Eventually, likely only a few years after Hayes, she too will pass peacefully in her sleep. The End

Dang... I had such High hopes for him. So many places I wanted to take his character, but he hardly got to go anywhere at all! I think I'll always think of the scene with the raft and monster in the water and all that came before and after that. That felt like a work of art but I'm not sure I'd still think that if I went back and read it.

He'd do his part to close the rift, sacrificing...(I feel like this was discussed in an earlier thread of comments but I can't find it? If you can find it, please point me in the right direction? If not, I'm about to make something up :D) Ya...No. I can't think of anything right now. XD! Any ideas guys??

Anyway, He wouldn't know of Miriya's alternative mostives to use the power to save his memory, but if he did, I don't know what he'd do. I actually think he wouldn't have a hero's complex and would actually want her to do it... But he wouldn't say it.

The loss of his memory and the constant memory loss is hard, but eventually he comes to terms with it. That's actually when his mind starts healing a bit. It never goes back to the way it was, but in a few years, he'd be able to remember more and more and some random memories from his past would come back. He'd remember Ryndi very well and fondly. He'd remember meeting Miriya and that adventure they had in the beginning. He wouldn't remember small things, and his memory would always be spotty, but it wouldn't remain awful.

His fainting spells would never go away. Elevated blood pressure would always knock him out. His meds help control it, but it remains with him forever.

During the final battle, Fenn wouldn't be able to do anything that involved running or working hard so he'd likely help in med tents or in the team that was in the air. I'm not entirely sure here...

Fenn would hope that Miriya would have him. I think he'd fall head over heels for her and hope she'd feel the same. I think he'd be shy and with his challenges, reluctant to even ask her to love him that way.

Even if she didn't want to love him like that, I think he'd want to live a quiet life and have some kids and live somewhere beautiful. Or maybe not have any kids? Or maybe start a music career. He did always like music... Who knows!

@Firesong We didn’t finalize what Fenn would lose when closing the rift. Fenn has already lost so much, though, that he doesn’t have much more to lose. I think, for him, it could be as simple as him giving up on magically retrieving his memories again. He could have also realized that the rift could help him regain those memories, and by closing it, he would be giving that up.

Miriya would likely fall for Fenn again, too! She would be sad that her singing voice was gone, but she would love to help Fenn in a musical career. Maybe she would learn how to play an instrument and join him with it!
