Here is what the school system is like in Australia. So basically we go back to school at the end of January and we finish school in mid December. and we have 4 terms, each term contains about 10 weeks. so we go to school about 40 weeks and what happens is that in-between the terms we have a 2 week break. and threw the Christmas holidays we get 5 weeks off. if thats hard to understand ill we show you a chart thingy to explain it Term 1- 10 weeks 2 week break term 2 -10 weeks 2 week break term 3 - 10 weeks 2 week break term 4 -10 weeks Christmas holidays 5 weeks So basically I told you that because I know its different in America and these stories wouldn't make sense if you didn't know the school system. So the first thing im going to talk about the fact that school end o the 19th of December! it literally sucks and I hate it soooo much. I mean thats only 6 days till Christmas. Also heres the second thing we are one of the few countries that has more school days then other countries. while most countries have students go to school 175 days a year we have to 190 days per year. witch means we only get 11 weeks off school. Also sometimes term 3 is for no reason 11 weeks long. I hope you enjoyed my little rant anyways than you and goodnight.

You know your cooling system is sad when you're only looking forward to high school for the air con. XD
Would you prefer having your biggest holiday in winter or summer? I prefer summer because our school doesn't always have good air conditioning.
our school just started after winter break
Sometimes the private schools have different weeks off. Also we have six weeks off in the summer holidays. It's a pretty good system though, I think.
