This is a short story on the birth of Riverbreeze and Greywood's foal. No, I will not continue this short story and I won't say what he/she will look like, you will find that out soon enough. (MUWAHAHAHAAAAA...sowwy) Ok! Here we go.

Greywood and Riverbreeze were grazing side by side. It was several moons since they had become mates. Junetree and Rainfeather were still shipping. Blossomflight and Flamestone were still Anti-shipping, and this conflict between them didn't seem to bother the couple. All they needed was each other, and they were happy. Through the course of weeks, Riverbreeze's belly was becoming very swollen and round. Sweetroot said it's only a matter of days before their foal would be born. Once Graywood learned this, he was more protective of Riverbreeze than ever. He wouldn't let his friends anywhere near her. He wouldn't even allow Riverbreeze to ship because he was scared it might agrivate the foal. But, Riverbreeze didn't argue with him. She just told him "Thank you for worring about me." The day was warm and pleasant with birds chirping and squirrels chattering. All was calm and quiet. That was until Riverbreeze felt a sharp pang of pain from her stomach. She clutched her belly with her wings and in an instant Graywood was by her side. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" he asked her. She rolled onto her knees and started breathing heavily. That was all Graywood needed to see. He galloped away to find his friends and the medicine mare. But, he first went to Sweetroot. He dove into the medicine mares cave. "The foal is here! Riverbreeze's foal is here!" Without another word, Graywood and Sweetroot tore out of the cave. He led the mare to his mate, who was now laying on her side. Sweetroot immidiatly got to work. "Just breathe, Riverbreeze. Breathe." Sweetroot continued to encourage her as Graywood whirled around and galloped across the plain. He had to find his friends, this was to big a moment for them to be left out. He heard laughing and nickering coming from the other side of the clearing. He burst into the air, leaving a cloud of his feathers drifting to the ground. He landed with a heavy thud, causing all chatter to die. One look from Graywood told Junetree, Wispiflower, Flamestone, Wintermist, Rainfeather, Lightray, and all his other friends that Riverbreeze was giving birth. He and everyone flew and galloped across the clearing, but non as fast as Graywood he got there minutes before everyone else. He trotted to Riverbreeze's side, but Sweetroot pushed him away. "We need privacy." was the last thing Sweetroot said to Graywood before dismissing him one last time. His friends found him pacing back and forth several winglengths away from Sweetroot and Riverbreeze. You could barely hear what they were talking about, which made Graywood more nervous. Blossomflight tried to soothe him, "She will be alright. I know your foal will be very beautiful or handsome." Graywood kindly accepted her blessings, but it didn't work. Soon, all his friends look just as excited and nervous as he did. Suddenly, a bleat from a foal erupted from where Riverbreeze was laying. He cantered anxiously over to her. He stopped in front of Sweetroot who was standing next to the now standing Riverbreeze. Behind Riverbreeze, he saw a small, foal figure. He pranced, now more excited than ever. Riverbreeze looked at her mate and said happily "Graywood, meet your new filly." Riverbreeze stepped out of the way to reveal..... a happy, healthy filly. Graywood dipped his head to his foal. The tiny foal bleated at him. He raised his head and nuzzled Riverbreeze. "Oh, she's so beautiful, Riverbreeze. Just like you." A butterfly flew over to the little filly and landed on her muzzle. The little filly looked curiously at the butterfly, then she sneezed and the butterfly flew a circle around the filly, who was now trying out her new legs. She lept into the air, squealing, then she tumbled back down. Graywood and Riverbreeze walked over to their foal and helped her to stand. Once she got the hang of the standing on her woobily legs, she took a step forward. Soon, the little foal was running around and chasing the butterfly that landed on her muzzle. Graywood and Riverbreeze's friends came over to check out the little foal. At the sight of new pegasi, the foal bleated and them and almost rammed Blossomflight. The little foal walked back over to her mother, figured out how to suckle, and started to nurse. Graywood nuzzled Riverbreeze. "This is the start of a new life. It's a new life that I can't wait to spend with you." he whispered to his mate, as they welcomed the little foal into the world..........
