For those of you in the U.S., you know what I mean. I just want to remind everyone to remember the brave people who tried to save lives and ended up giving up their own, and to pray for all of those poor families who lost their loved ones to the horrific events that took place 17 years ago.

yep
That sucks
the firefighters house was NYFD I think. also NYC and around it were so shorthyanded on firefighters i think another fire broke out in NYC a week or a half week after 9/11, they did not have enough. other firefighters from other states and such had to come in and help. my teacher dropped his coffee and phone in his lap as he read the news.
Wow....
yikes, and if i was there, i would have only been a few hours away.... thank goodness i was born on 2006 not 2001. the fire houses dispatched aand in one of them, almost all the firefighters died. we watched some pretty horrible injuries. one with a man whose half the body covered in blood(thank goodness he survived) from a fallen glass thingf or something.
Oh my goodness... 😢
So I looked up how many people died on 9/11, there was a total of 2996 deaths in relation to the attacks. 2977 victims, and 19 hijackers
Ikr
I’ve been looking into this very recently. I get shivers when I see the videos and hear the details from my parents as well, Dragon. It’s so sad :’(
That's interesting! I didn't know that you squad (Pardon if I did not use the correct word or something ;-;) took photos of ground zero!
O_O 20,000?!?!??! N NO NO NO NO NO ...... Dawnfeather, it was around 3,000 people, not 20,000
Yes. 9/11 was very scary. My mom was around 21 at the time........ ;-;
more than 20,000 or 2,000 died right? firefighters, workers, all. in Social Studies today, people were jumping out of the building, firefighters were helping to evacuate, and the south tower i believe collapsed. People sustained injuries, like serious warlike injuries. Glass, Steel, Smoke, everything. Also cancer which is why there is a cancer flag with the United States flag on Google. (we watched a video) and I think shame on the 8th graders in Goff Middle School fooling around during the moment of silence. like seriously its annoying, idk if you guys feel that way.
Amen. ;-;
