Braircloud: She looked at Ripplestep with big eyes, he had helped through a rough time before maybe he could do it again. She thought of every time the stallion had said the right words at the right time, ”Violetray has your coat and Frostflower your eyes.” A tear rolling down her cheek “what kind of mother am I if I can’t even protect my daughter.” She said sadness clear in her voice
” I had almost lost her.” Ripplestep pressed his muzzle against Briarcloud’s “but you didn’t.” His voice steady and strong, they just laid like that in a few minutes, Briarcloud rose “ I said I could prove it.” A voice came from behind, she spun in a circle Bravefire grinning “ nice to see you Blossom.”
Frostweed:
He woke up early in the morning, just as dawn was about to break, and yawned. He looked down at his sister who was tucked under his wing, sleeping soundly. He smiled, and gently stood up, careful not to wake her, and began to roll in the sand a little ways away.
( Sure! :D )
Shellmist:
She poked her nose into his side hard, and he jolted awake, falling from his perch in the tree onto the hard ground. She stifled a snicker as he glared up at her, and called, “C’mon! You don’t think I’ve forgotten about that flight you promised me, do you?” He rolled his eyes and grinned. “Wait for me!” Frostweed shouted. He jumped into the air after his sister and asked, “So, where have you been all day?” “I’ve been hanging out with Hawkstride’s. He taught me how to fly in more open spaces!” “You mean that cute colt you’re always talking about?”
Shellmist smacked him pretty hard up the side of the head, and said, “Does that answer your question?”
He laughed, gently probing the side of his head, and snorted. “It sure does.” He flew faster to catch up with her, and soon they reached the wood. Shellmist dived down into the canopy, her bigger brother following right along behind her.
They dodged in and out of the branches and through the tight spaces. Soon, they had come to the same beach miles away from the herd that she and Hawkstride’s had seen earlier. They landed and began to peck at the life at edge of the beach.
Hawkstride:
He made it back to the herd where everything was mostly calm, a few frightened foals and a couple anxious mares, but mostly calm. He found his sister grazing alone and he became concerned. Ambersnip is never alone! She's always with a friend of some sort! Hawkstride cantered over to her and nickered a friendly greeting.
Ambersnip:
She lifted her head to the familiar nicker of her brother. She smiled and nickered to him, "Hey!!! HAwkstride! I missed you! Where did you go?" She asked, nuzzling her younger brother.
Hawkstride: "I learned how to fly in tight spaces! Shellmist showed me how."
Ambersnip: She chuckled knowingly. "Sounds like fun. You look exhausted! C'mon. Let's get some sleep."
Shellmist:
She was slightly disappointed, yet slightly relieved to know she wouldn't have to try not to embarrass herself around her crush anymore. She turned around to go look for her brother, whom she eventually found in their home tree dozing.
( ooooffff sorry I didn't see your comment until just now xD )
Hawkstride:
"No thanks. That's nice of you, but I don't want to intrude on your sibling time. You go fly with your bro. Besides, I need to go see my sister." He called up to her. With one more quick glance at Shellmist, he broke into a fast canter, headed towards the herd.
Shellmist:
Her eyes flew wide. "Holy mother of snakes! I completely forgot!" She whinnied. She jumped into the sky, but then turned around and called down to Hawkstride. "Would you like to go and fly with us, or would you prefer to sleep?" She asked.
Hawkstride:
He smiled and nodded at Shellmist. A yawn escaped from his lips. "I think I'm ready to head back to the herd." He said, wading ashore. He shook off his coat and wings. "What about you? Are you going flying with your brother?" Hawkstride asked, tossing his wet forelock out of his eyes.
Solarray-
After the long eventful day, Solarray trotted off to find his sister whom he had barley spoken to all day. "How's it goin?." he neighed as he approached her.
"Good.
