Ashriver stood with her 4 friends and watched the storm. It was dark, so the only thing they would see was the lightning. They could hear the thunder and feel the wind though. The lightning and thunder werent as bad as the wind. The wind made the storm scary. Gusts

of wind were loud when it hit the mountains, and if a pegasus went outside and tried to fly, they would've been thrown miles and miles away.

Suddenly Springblaze and Ashriver jumped when thunder boomed loudly. Darkstone nickered and laid his wing over Springblaze's back. He nuzzled her and whispered something, making her calm down. Windstorm and Moonwind both walked up to Ashriver and nickered.

"You'll be fine," Windstorm said, nuzzling her. Ashriver shrugged her wings. "I dont think we will be returning home for a while.. i think this storm will last to long." Moonwind walked up to the mouth of the cave and stuck out his muzzle, then his tongue. He nickered when rain drops flooded his tongue. The stallion licked his lips and walked back to Ashriver. "It actually tastes good!" he said nickering. Ashriver rolled her eyes and looked at Springblaze, who did the same. The young mare mouthed words to her sister. "Me and Darkstone are going somewhere in the cave, probably to mother and father." Ashriver nodded and mouthed. "See you later then." Springblaze nodded and nudged Darkstone, then they both walked deeper into the cave. Ashriver watched them leave, then turned to her two friends. "Lets-" she stopped when she noticed them staring each other down. "Oh for goodness sakes cut it out you two!" The mare walked between the

two stallions and pushed them away with her wings. But Moonwind and Windstorm didnt do anything but continue to stare at each other. This was weird. It was like they were statues. "Hey... you guys... are you alive?" Ashriver waved her wings in front of their faces. Windstorm snorted and looked down at Ashriver. "What?" Ashriver snorted and stomped her hoof. "You two need to quite that! Or else.."

Ashriver didnt know what else to say. But she was grateful when Moonwind nodded. "Where do you want to go?" Ashriver started to walk away from the mouth of the cave. "Lets go to my dam and sire."

The two stallions nodded, but before the three could get anywhere, Springblaze and Darkstone came galloping towards them. Ashriver noticed the two were worried. Springblaze stopped and spoke

first. "We just got news from a captain, who spoke to Sparkwing.He says that this storm is more than dangerous. Its deadly. They call it a 'Water Spark.'"
