The focus today and tomorrow is on your antagonist(s) / main issue of the story!
Information About Today / Tomorrow’s Challenge-
Your story may have a clear villain, but this villain might also be nature or the main character themselves. What does your villain (if you have a clear character) want? I have found that books can at times make this unclear. This can make the threat that the main character is facing not seem so dire. It is also important to figure out why the protagonist wants to solve this issue in the first place. Does it go beyond plain virtue and into something deeper? If the main issue is an event, think about how this event was sparked. What does it mean for the protagonist? How can it be fought? If the main issue is something deep inside the protagonist (ex. feelings, consciousness, not being happy) think about what led this into being.

My Example-
For Villain Figure-
Name: Nero
Age: 42
Gender/Sexuality: Male, Asexual
Physical Description: Very large muscular man with short mustard yellow hair and red eyes. His wings are abnormally small for common Ethealian wings. He typically wears gray clothing with accents of crimson.
Personality: Vivacious, Demanding, Obnoxious, Charismatic, Egocentric
Motives: To conquer the land of the Merioons and expand Ethealian lands. To be remembered as a great leader.
How Are They Working to Achieve Those Motives?: By attacking the Merioons quite frequently with his armies, and imparting in the youth a taste for battle and a strong loyalty to him.
Strengths: He is very good at getting people to follow him. He promises grand rewards that he can easily grant, having a massive treasury in place from the last Ethealian leader. He is also experienced in combat and a formidable foe to fight. He continuously comes up with new battle strategies.
Weaknesses: He has never been that good at flying because of his small wings. Additionally, he is not very clever and is easily fooled. The only exception to this is in the realm of war, which he knows a surprising amount about.
How Does This Impact The Narrator?: His attacks of the Merioons directly impacts Pink, who is trying to make herself a life there. When Pink becomes leader of the Merioons, their conflict gets much more personal, and he makes an attempt on her life.
For Villain Figure-
Name: Storm
Age: 6
Gender/Sexuality: stallion
Physical Description: slender dapple-gray stallion with black mane and tail. his eyes always glows with mischief. he is not strong like his palimino brother but very cunning
Personality: Very cunning and manipulative, a planner
Motives: He wants to expand Equuleus to the whole world but his twin brother the king sees that our world and lads are to dangerous for horses, with wolves and humans, plus harsh climax, Since King Suncloud denied his request he seeks his brothers crown and the horses of Equuleus
How Are They Working to Achieve Those Motives?: For the frist part, he drugged his brother and stole 1/4 of this herd and brought them to our lands, now the two siblings are at war thus he is using his army. Now he plans to kill his brother (Ill go more in detail later"
Strengths: his mind and ability to persuade groups, as well as disapearing into shadows
Weaknesses: his physical strength and not being able to see all the sides to life.
How Does This Impact The Narrator?: the Narrator is an old mare who tells the tales of Equuleus to the foals (think like mossberry) Thus she is living the wars and some of her firends gone
Sorry I have been so busy and I working on a Halloween fan fiction so that has taken a lot of my time, I’m gonna be posting mine in like a few minutes
(Three days later...)
(I don't have this all figured out, but that's ok :) It'll come to me eventually.)
For Villain Figure-
Name: Dexel Helf
Age: complicated. Appears as a man in his early 20s
Gender/Sexuality: Man. He's really not interested.
Physical Description: A handsome man with jet-black hair and striking eyes. Tan in complexion.
Personality: Cunning, smart, vile, snotty, sarcastic, and obnoxious
Motives: to make a new Fathan on earth.
How Are They Working to Achieve Those Motives?: Stole the Fathan thing. This went a bit south.
Strengths: He is very manipulative, able to confuse those around him and making it so his intentions are unclear.
Weaknesses: He thinks too highly of himself and fails to think like others do.
How Does This Impact The Narrator?: His goal could end in the death of both Jada and Echo.
(I could fill out the others, but this is good enough for now ;)
( i wrote mine but it deleted it:C ill do it tmr)
I'm going to work on this hopefully later! I'm trying!
Name: Malcolm (Uncle Mac)
Age: 32
Gender/Sexuality: Male. His wife died.
Physical Description: Well built man with dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. Broad soldiers and a sinister disposition.
Personality: As long as you aren't on his bad side, then he can be fun and caring, but is known for his serious outlook. He also is ruthless and willing to do anything to get what he wants.
Motives: He basically wants country domination - America.
How Are They Working to Achieve Those Motives?: He is going to create a massive event to assasinate the president and forcibly take over.
Strengths: He really can't do anything on the large scale he desires without his agents.
Weaknesses: His daughter, Remington. And somewhat Jack, but not as much.
How Does This Impact The Narrator?: He is going to use Jack and some others to take over, but I haven't quite figured out why.
For Event-
Needs to be decided...What is big enough that's related to the presidency that 4 kids would be useful but its not good and the kids want out?
For a Protagonist’s Issue-
What Is Wrong With Them?: Jack is going to be used along with 3 others (Remi, Lochlan, and Skylar) for some purpose that needs to be figured out.
How Did This Issue Come About?: Uncle Mac is trying to take over the US. He specifically hand-picked them and trained them with his top agents.
Can The Protagonist Overcome This Issue? Why?: Yes because he's going to use his wits along with the skills of his "team" to bring Mac to justice.
How Is This Impacting Them?: They are living as fugitives from the law until they can turn the Mafia group in.
I need help with a villian. I'm doing an MLP story that takes place about a year after MLP ends. Rarity is dead as well.(R.I.P.)
My villains are definitely more subtle compared to other villains. They are revealed towards the end of the story and are the main villain throughout the sequel.
For Villain Figure - PCC
Name: Ruben Sharma and his cult of Pre-Colonial Conservatives (PCC)
Motives: To restore the nation to a time before foreign colonizers came in by ethnically cleansing anyone with non-native blood and slowly guiding the remaining population back to pre-colonial ideals.
How Are They Working to Achieve Those Motives?: They have released anthrax spores in several areas of Thay where people with non-native blood live, believing that it won't spread to pure blooded people (it will). The PCC also has deep rooted corruption in the government that keeps the country divided and weak. They lobby for isolationist policies with their considerable power.
Strengths: Wealth, deep state connections, pure zealotry and disregard for modern morals and epidemiological science
Weaknesses: Idealism and zealotry to the point of delusion, poor nen skills
How Does This Impact The Narrator?: Leorio, like many people of Thay, knew about government corruption but had no idea of the existence of the PCC and its influence.
For Event - Anthrax Epidemic
Description of Event: Anthrax outbreaks all over the city are overwhelming the health infrastructure of Thay, which has a wide range of people living in different economic situations. Poor people have little equipment, ability to practice social distancing, or money for treatment so it is hitting them the hardest.
When Would This Occur?: Within a few days of the first release of spores
What Would This Mean?: Inhalation anthrax, the most common in this epidemic, has a fatality rate of 80% or higher...
Can It Be Stopped? Why?: Not easily - people will breathe in spores as long as the PCC is releasing them, and even if the PCC is stopped, spores can linger and contaminate food supplies. It is nearly impossible to sterilize a whole city, short of destroying the whole thing.
How Does This Impact The Narrator?: As a doctor, Leorio is responsible for fighting the anthrax the PCC has released. As a resident of Thay, it is deeply destabilizing to watch his unprepared city crumble under a deadly epidemic. Kurapika feels a responsibility to help Leorio because it is partially his fault that the anthrax was released in the first place.
Honestly there is way to much to add that it would literally kill me XDD
Plus, it will be a fantastic surprise to keep you BEGGING for more hehehhehehe
