She heard shouting outside.

"I AM NOT A SPY!" Lyra shrieked as they dragged her to the dungeon

He buried his face into her hair.

She relaxed him his hug, still hugging him

"I definitely can, forgive you, " he murmured.

Hw reached up a hand and gently ran his fingers through her hair.

It was such a relief to hear those words, he really didn't mean to break her trust

His body shook with sobs, he pressed closer to Sasha, needing the reassurance,

She looked him straight in the eyes. "Yes."

"O-one more question," he murmured, needing to know the truth, "is it possible for you to ever trust me again,"

She looked at him, "I don't know, I've asked the same question. But he gave us each other. He kept us alive."

He sighed, "then, why did he put me with my father?" He murmured.

Sasha:

She took his hand and kissed the palm, then continued explaining about God.

He sighed, "What's the point of life?" He rolled over and buried his head on the pillow.

"I mean, why live? Only to die? " he said, vlice muffled from the pillow..

Sasha:

"Yeah you're right. Let's go back, I'll go break my father out of prison and hopefully he'll be so mad about the duel he'll kill me!" she was furious, did nothing she did mean anything to him?! She had risked her life for his when she fought her father and now he wanted to go back!

Leo

He sighed, "What's the point of trying to fight," he murmured, "they'll keep on at it, uhtill they have me, or you, or us both,"

Sasha:

"Bad plan. She could have Trayton or Hazel of your father or all three of them, waiting there for you."

Leo,

"Go in, unarmed, and see what she wants, I know hand to hand, pretty good same with hand to sword combat,"

Sasha:

She stared at the ceiling. "What's your plan?"

Leo,

"F-fine," he murmured, not wanting to argue.

Sasha:

She shook her head. "You bring value to this world, I do not. There for your life is more valuable than mine." she spoke with an emotionless detatched voice

"And your life is valuable to mine " he murmured softly, wishing he could make it up to Sasha.

Sasha:

"Well I don't. Your life is much more valuble than mine, I'd gladly give up my life to keep yours safe."

She forced herself into a sitting up position. "I won't let her take you back to Dakur or kill you."

"Alright,"

Sasha:

"We can try."

He winced, "yeah," he replied, "so, can we discuss it to we kind s solution ? "

She wanted to believe him, she desperatly wanted to believe him. But she didn't couldn't, he'd lied to her and she couldn't just forget it. "We could have sat down and talked until we found a solution. Remember what happened with Andrew?!"

Leo,

"Sasha, everything I said to you, was true, it will ALWAYS, be true,

I guess we both had different plans on what ti do with Lyra, that's literally it,"

Sasha:

"I thought I could trust you. I thought you loved me. I thought we would do this together, that's what you said at least." fear, pain and hurt were clear in her eyes

Leo

Hurt flashed across his face again,

Hd shook his head, "how did I lie? About making decisions together? Sasha..." he murmured, "I want to protect you," he looked up at her, love, hurt,, and worry,, in his eyes..

Sasha:

She snagged her dagger from her boot, "Stay away from me." she knew she wasn't sounding threatening, in truth she was scared, very very scared

A look of hurt flashed across his face,

"Sasha, yiu need to stay laying down, you're going to make your wound worse,"

Sasha:

She scooted away from Leo and for the first time in ehr life there was fear in her face when she looked at him, if he had lied to ehr about them making decisions together it stood to reason he could have been lying about never hurting her

"Sasha, you need to stay laying down."

Sasha:

She regained consciousness. "Well, that didn't go how I planned." she muttered, trying to get up again.

Leo

He quickly turned hearing Sasha fall.

He picked her up and set her on the bed..

He still loved her,, a lot. Even after what she had said.

Sasha:

She stood shakily, and collapsed, unconscious from blood loss, laying limp on the ground

He went to pacing, trying to throw what Sasha had said in the back of his mind.

Sasha:

She knew her word had hurt him, but he had hurt her, she had trusted him, he was the only person she had ever trusted. And now he'd lied to her. She refused to cry, instead she jsut sat there, her eyes burning with unshed tears

He flinched, "I know I said that," he murmured, "I guess- just go along and do what youyou'planning on doing,"

Sasha:

"Then that's a choice you have to let ME make. You said we'd make these disicions TOGTHER. I thought I could trust you. I guess I was wrong."

Leo,

"I know, " he murmured "but. I-if it involves you making your wound worse and you possibly-" hd couldn't finish the sentence.

Sasha:

She whirled around to face him, and collapsed into the chair. "You'd rather me let her take you back to Dakur?! You said we'd do this TOGETHER we'd make these disicions TOGETHER."

Leo

"Sasha, please don't, " he said, eyes pleading.

Sasha:

"I'd rather die protecting you, or at least buying you time to escape, than live knowing you are back in Dakur or dead." he was right but she wouldn't let that stop her

Leo

He rushed over to Sasha, "yiu can't! You probably won't even be able to handle walking for very long!"

Sasha:

She forced herself to stand up, she was shaking from pain but she was standing, she stumbled to the desk and grabbed her sword, she strapped it to her back. "I won't let her take you back to Dakur."

Leo,

He ran a nervous hand through his hair again.

Sasha;

"She will kill you or take you back to Dakur! I won't let her!" she grabbed a roll of bandages and rewrapped ehr bleeding wound

Leo

"Itll be more of a forceful meeting if we skip," he said, looking up at Sasha.

Sasha:

"You aren't seriously thinking about going to meet her, are you?!" she attempted to strap the dagger to her waist but her wound got in the way. She stuck the dagger and sheath into her boot

Leo

He shook his head with a sigh, going over to the desk and grabbing the dagger from the drawer, he handed it over to Sasha.

"Y'know she said no weapons right?"

Sasha:

"Try and stop me." she said through gritted teeth, still trying to grab her dagger, the desk was all the way across the room, it might as well have been across the world

"Sasha, you're not even able to fight with that wound.

Sasha:

She tried to get up and couldn't, she cursed

Leo

"Should be desk drawer,"

Sasha:

"Where is my dagger?!" she panicked more thoroughly. "She'll kill you!"

He ran a worried hand through his hair.

Sasha:

"We're doomed." she whispered, searchign for her dagger, she didn't wear it anymore. "Bloody rain we're doomed!"

Leo,

He tried to act calm.

Sasha:

She rested her head in her hands, acting perfectly calm

Leo,

He reached the room and gently set Sasha down.

Sasha:

She took shallow panicky breaths, Lyra would kill them!

He headed back to their room.

She flinched slightly
