Her father took her to his house, and Em found out that he had remarried. Her stepmom was nice to her face but there was something off about her. Em later learns she's a thief/assassin for hire. Sometimes when she was out of the house, she kept seeing movement out of the corner of her eye. She knows there's more to her stepmom and to her mother's arrest than meets the eye. Her father decided to send her to the Kihlari school because even if he made some really stupid decisions he still loves his daughter. Her crush is living at the academy, but she's a cleaner, he doesn't notice her. Also, she is over worked and struggles to get the jobs done.

SHe is normally barefoot or weared beaded sandals.

Backstory: When he was younger, he had calmly been grazing, when the Landwalkers had come in and stolen him from his Herd. He hadn't been alert, he hadn't been ready, he hadn't been strong. His herd mates had always told him that your enemy doesn't tell you to fierce up and prick your ears before fighting you. So Dancer had kicked and brayed at the Landwalkers, but they had taken him to the Clan and locked him in a stall. They had whipped him and knocked him out to get him to hold still, and he has scars on his face and chest from the torture he was put through. Now, he's always prancing and shifting, pricking his ears and shifting into a fighting stance at every noise.

She wears a thin necklace with a small creamy, faint purple feather on it, and two bracelets made with creamy blue feathers.
Basically how her hair looks, and her eyes are more of a mixture of blue and magenta that look purple. Kinda galaxy-ish? XD Idk

Backstory: When she was a young, 11 year-old girl, she had skipped off into the woods. At the time, she was fearless and bold, and very, VERY stubborn (AKA didn't listen to anyone). She had found a group of wild Kihlari, and had stayed with them for the day. While her family was up in frenzy, looking for her, she had curled up next to a tree to watch the Kihlari. In the beginning, they were tense and uneasy, but it was foaling season and two of the mares were heavily preggo, so they had to stay where they were. Eventually, Sapphire had slowly walked up to one of the steeds and tried to stroke his muzzle. Which was a mistake. The second she had reached out her hand, he had reared upwards and sliced her wrist away with his deadly sharp hoof, letting out a bray that scattered the Herd. She had screamed, so loud that the Clan members on patrol had heard her. Unfortunately, it was the Land Guard with a group of boys her age, that were being taught about the dangers of the woods, and were training. One of the boys had found her and burst out laughing when she was screaming and crying next to a tree, while the Kihlari bolted and scattered. One of the Kihlari mares had tripped over a root and sprained an ankle, but her Herd had left. The kid had laughed at Sapphire while she tried to stumble to the mare, and yanked on Sapphire's blond hair. 'HA!' he had shouted. 'YOU FLIGHTLESS FOOL! YOU FREAK! SUCH A DREAMER!' And worse, the Land Guard didn't stop the boys, and instead snickered. When Sapphire had finally got the nerve to head back to the Clan, talk about what had happened was spreading, and by now, every single person knew about her "mistake."
