Duskfire,

Duskfire took to the air, surveying the herd, his head shot up at the sound of panther, he quickly scanned the herd and spotted it, the panther was sneaking up on two weanlings that were playing.

He quickly swooped down "Run!" he brayed at the weanlings, they both looked up at him wide eyed then ran.

Duskfire turned to face the panther.

The panther lunged at him, Duskfire did his best to dodge it but its claws raked his side leaving a thin trail of blood.

Duskfire whirled around to face the panther, he ran up to it then he whirled around and bucked sending it flying to a nearby tree, the panther fell to the ground limp and lifeless.

Duskfire quickly dragged the panther deep into the jungle and quickly left.

he turned his head to look at his side, it was luckily not a deep scratch just a thin one.

Duskfire swiveled his ears listening for any other panthers

Tharo:

he nodded and walked away to rest (I gtg again be back soon i hope)

Aspenroot,

Aspenroot dipped her feathers into the mixture and gently spread it across his outer feathers when she was done she turned to look at Tharo, "Come back tomorrow for more roots if it still hurts."

Tharo:

He did as he was told and nodded. "Yes ma'am."

Aspenroot,

Aspenroot lead Tharo to the medicine den, she grabbed a few herbs, and some roots.

Aspenroot set the roots in fount of Tharo, "Eat those, they will taste gross, but they will help with the pain,"

Aspenroot mashed up the herbs with her hooves, "is it alright if I spread this on your outer feathers, it will also help with the pain"

Tharo:

He nodded and followed her

Duskfire,

"You can follow Aspenroot," he nodded at the mare, "She will have some herbs that will help with the pain,:

Fost:

He hugged her. "Whats wrong?" He asked her

"Whats up?" He asked softly

Fost:

"Hey Maya." He said sitting up.

Suko:

he moved closer to Aaron

He lay hidden in a bush. He heard Maya but did not could not move.

Tuli:

She leapt from the hay loft her body missed the lader and she landed on her feet she ran to Aaron's side. "Suko!" She whispered and looked at his swelling leg. She shook her head. "Aaron its to late for him, this mosquito kills millions when they get bitten I dont know what we can do." She said she walked outsde grabbed some mud and came back, she rubbed it on the bite and left it there

Sage,

Sage nodded, she turned to Arashi, "Comon girl we need to hurry,!"

Sage ran out side, with Arashi running beside her,

Sage easily got onto Arashi and right as she was safely on Arashi took off.

Arashi soon landed outside of the vet's hut.

Sage jumped off and ran inside the hut, "Help!"

Duskfire,

Duskfire nodded. "No problem," he stretched out his wings, and surveyed the sky

Tharo:

Duskfire,

"Well.. It should keep you full until you are able to get back.

Tharo:

He rolled his eyes doubting it and he slowly tired it. It was ok, not as good as hay but ok. "Its ok I guess, I like hay better though."

Duskfire,

"Then try it, grass is more fresh than hay, and is sweeter,"

Tharo:

"But hay is fresh and sweet and grain is yummy! I dont know what grass tastes like!" He whinnied back

Duskfire,

"Don't worry! It's good!" Duskfire winnied,

Tharo:

"But I'm tame!!! Your wild!!!" He moaned at knowing he had to eat this wild food not his food

Duskfire,

"Fresh grass, apples, berries, we have all that and we have plenty of energy and we stay fit,"

Tharo:

"I need my grain to give me energy and I need my hay to keep me thin!" He said

Duskfire,

Duskfire tilted his head, "And why not?"

Tharo:

"I cant eat that!!!" He said panicked

Duskfire,

"We live free, remember, we don't have landwalkers, or in your words humans or riders, to feed us,"

Tharo:

his eyes widened. "WHAT??!!!"

Duskfire.

"The grass, or stuff like apples, and rarely birds eggs,"

Tharo:

"Ok.... what do I eat?" He asked looking around for grain or hay

Duskfire,

Duskfire snorted amused, "No, we don't even have stalls out here, we just sleep outside." Duskfire replied, "and since you know Stormwind, I will not put you under guard, so sleep where ever you like"

Tharo:

He nodded. "Where can I stay sir? Do you have a stall or anything?" He asked

Duskfire,

"I am Duskfire," he replied

Tharo:

"So what is your name sir." He asked the stallion

Arashi/Stormwind

Stormwind's sharp eyes spotted the small needle-like mark on his leg, this is not good! Stormwind thought, only a few of her herd have died from these mosquitoes, so she didn't know if there was any cure for them, well besides for the queens healing spider venom.

Stormwind neighed sharply at Sage trying to tell her what was wrong

(He got bitten by a deadly mosquito when they were escaping from the dragon)

Stormwind/Arashi

Stormwind gasped, this is not good, she thought, Stormwind rushed over to Suko, and tried to figure out what was wrong with his leg.

Sage,

Sage gasped, and slowly walked into Suko's stall, she stood beside Arashi, and tried to figure out what was wrong

Suko:

He tilted his head trying to hear her. He was growing foggy and his eyes were heavy, he crashed to the ground with a cry of pain

Arashi/Stormwind,

Stormwind reared, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR LEG!" Stormwind brayed and landed hard on the ground.

(Chippy where are you?!)

Suko:

He tossed his head. The pain was growing and they could not understand

Arashi/Stormwind

Stormwind eyed the leg that he was keeping off the ground.

Sage,

"I-I think one of his legs hurt."

Suko:

He flapped wings to take the pressure off his bad leg

Sage,

Sage pulled Aaron away from the stall door as Suko reared up to break it.

Arashi/Stormwind

Stormwind, "Suko," Stormwind said calmly, "Where do you hurt?!"

Suko:

He reared and crashed through the stall door. He did not know what was wrong he just hurt!

Arashi/Stormwind,

Stormwind easily jumped out of her stall and trotted over to Suko, "SUKO! What is wrong!!" Stormwind brayed.

Suko:

His leg felt like it was on fire. He kicked at the stall door. He whirled around again and again

Sage,

Sage rushed over to stand beside Aaron. "I think he's in pain,"

Stormwind/Arashi

Stormwind reared in her stall and slammed down, "SUKO ARE YOU ALRIGHT!"

Suko:

He could not hear her well. His ears felt fuzzy he brayed again

Stormwind,

Stormwind's eyes filled with concerne, "Are you alright Suko," she asked in a more stern voice than normal

Suko:

He twitched and started to pace the length of his stall. He whinnied sharply

Arashi/Stormwind

"You alright Suko?" Stormwind asked.

Medicine Mare,

She nodded, "Follow me, I have some herbs that help,"

Suko:

His leg burned and he pranced around, something was wrong with him.

Tharo:

"No... yes they hurt a bit." He said to the mare.

Arashi/Stormwind,

Stormwind looked over at Suko, who was trying to tell his rider that he wanted to go out, Stormwind looked at Sage, who looked like she was about to go help if things got worse,

Tuli:

"Go find Fost Maya!" She said gently shoving her toward the ladder down from the loft

Suko:

He splashed his water on Aaron telling him he wanted to go out. He spilled the grain on the ground and reared.

Sage,

Sage smiled, "That's good,"

Sage,

"Hi Aaron! How's it going?"

Arashi/Stormwind

Stormwind nickered happily at Sage, and drank some of the water

Arashi/Stormwind,

Stormwind trotted up to Sage and nuzzled her,

Sage,

Sage turned around and smiled, "You want to back inside huh girl," Sage said, "Con'on girl," Sage walked into the stables with Arashi following close behind,

Sage lead Arashi into her stall, and quickly refiled her fresh water.

Medicine Mare

Nods, "those take about two weeks to heal, I can't really do anything to make then heal faster, but do they hurt at all?"

Tuli:

"Yes! Go!"

Tuli:

"I dont mind my scar so much now. Dont give up on Fost his heart is broken you need to help heal it. Go find him please!" She said

Tuli:

"Yes Aaron he used to help me just by being there for me." She said

Tuli:

"Field accident. I was dumb and I learned. I had Aaron to help me. He has been my friend for a while, I just know you dont give up on friends NEVER!" She said in a firm quiet voice

Tuli:

"Yes I am! Look at this." She swept her hair away from her scared right side of her face. She pointed at it. "Guess how I got this."

Tuli:

"My real name is Tulia, that is the name my mother gave me. As you can see I have never been called that since my family died when I was 3. My field name is Tuli and I told everyone that because it is now. I work because my parents did not make good choices when I was a baby. I wish they did." She said softly

Tuli:

When they reached the loft she made a seat out of the hay. "Sit down." She ordered. "Do you know my full name?" she asked knowing the answer was no, no one knew it

Tuli:

"NO!" She cried when she heard about Tharo. She had loved that stallion. "Can we go talk in the hay loft?" She asked gently grabbing Maya

Tuli:

"Whats wrong?" She asked Maya.

Tharo:

"My wings something in the wind ripped out my flight feathers I think!" He whinnied to the mare (Ok)

Duskfire,

Duskfire nodded, "Yes he was stolen a few days ago,"

Medicine mare,

"Where do you hurt," she asked looking at Tharo

Tuli

She snuck up behind Maya and hugged her hard. "Don't stop crying till you want to!" She whispered.

Tharo:

"He called himself, Sorko I think. No that was not his name. He was Lightningstar I think." he muttered tryign to rememebr

Duskfire

Duskfire's head shot up and he turned around, "Do you know this foals name, or description?" Duskfire asked, he let out a sharp winnie, that echoed across the vally.

A old mare came trotting up to them. "What can I help with?" she asked

Fost:

He lay down on the ground and cried in the cover of a thick bush. He had crawled there and lay down.

Tharo:

"I think so. I found a stolen foal!" he said sharply

Duskfire,

Duskfire nodded, "Are you able to walk a little farther?"

Tharo:

"I am Treeflame or Tharo, I know Arashi, Stormwind. She named me. I fell from the sky and cant fly, my rider does not know I am alive, He thinks I'm dead." He let out a deep sob.

Fost:

He grabbed her wrist and kissed her back. "I love you Maya, I just need time I'm sorry."

Duskfire,

Duskfire swooped down and landed near a wounded pegasus, "Who are you?" he winnied sharply, he lowered his head, "And what do you want?" he asked in a less demanding voice

Fost:

"Maya! Please...." He let out a tear because he tried to hide them so much they came stronger and stronger

Fost:

He hugged her back but his heart was not in it anymore. "You should go get some rest Maya..... I need some time..." He blinked back tears.

Tharo:

He had managed to land and walked toward a herd of khilari. "Hello! I need help!" He whinnied to them

Sage,

Sage gasped, "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!"

Fost:

"Tharo is dead." He stated his heart broken

Sage,

Sage nodded "ye-" she broke off when she heard her name being called, she spotted Fost and walked over to him "You alright Fost?" Sage asked

Fost:

He saw Sage and waved her over. "Sage...." His voice hitched

Sage,

Sage smiled, "Anything you want to do? I think our mounts are tired after all that flying today,"
