Ik I'm probably exagerrating this entire thing, but as Dawn's real life friend, I believe she needs this right now. You're probably rolling your eyes and going "Oh look, Echo's making a big deal out of this. AGAIN." And I'm sorry if that's what you think, but I suck at arting and I don't really know what else to do to make Dawn feel betterapart from this.
Dawn, Indie may be 17, really old for a dog, but that does NOT prove that she has left this world yet. She is still out in the world. You probably look at Boue every night and think of how much she reminds you of Indie. Cute, kind, big, destructive, smart, loving, caring. No doubt that wherever Indie is in the world, she's thinking about you know, and your family. If this still doesn't help, I'll pray that Indie returns to you someday. I'll get my mum (she's the only one in my family that gets my friends' prayers needs). Heck, I'll even get Lilly to pray. I'll do whatever it takes in my power for you to be reunited with your dog. I've never lost a pet like that, so I wouldn't know how you feel right now, but I will still pray. I will still stay up all night long praying that you find Indie again one day. It doesn't have to be soon, just one day.
lol
yeah this morning she was tackling the bird (she was missing on perpous cause she knew he was smaller) and whenever mum came in shed lick him and return to normal! she's so funny! XD
That's sounds like a stereo typical puppy
Also, even though Indie might be gone ... you still have Blue, right? I mean, of course, Blue would never replace Indie in any way, but no dog is worse than one, no matter how dumb and destructive, right?
For those of you who are confused as to why I am using dumba dn destructive to deacribe Blue, on her first day at Dawn's place, the bird nipped her on the nose, she ran into a wall, and she managed to bring the whole cupboard down on top if her.
Hey Dawn, no worries. On the MB, all of us are a family. We care for one another. It's what we do.
with all this commotion over indie ive been even more sad then I was before. but thanks everyone for cheering me up! thanks echo for making this post and thx MB for caring
as a child I had a dog called indie, dad rescued her from Poland: she was a pup when she lost her pack and came to a town for survival stealing chickens and food from farms to save herself. one day a farmer caught and requested the sentenced of death my dad saved her by adoption. but who said owning a huskie would be easy? in Australia it was hot and the days always made you sweat. once I was born I knew that indie was my dog. we wrestled with toys, play hide and seek (she always won), and venture down the street(especially when I was grounded XD). she was a wondrous, talented, smart and my best friend. she went through ticks, sickness, injuries and all and I was always there for her . one day we were playing hide and seek when I was five around now she was (in human years) 12, I heard her bark and then silence I must have been there for hours hiding behind the couch. finally I went out to see what went on and dad told me indie had been sent away to another person so we could move to the city. It was some time ago but I still remember locking myself in my room and crying. she must be dead by now but i she was alive ide search the world for her
^Fly Straight And Find Your Rest^
thx echo, thx guys ill write my story of indie
But you know, if you think about it, it might not be the best thing for Indie to be still live. A lot of dogs get serious health problem as they get older, like arthritis and joint pain.
I just did some more looking into it, and apparently Australian Cattle Dogs are know for having a very long life span. Where as huskies have the life expectancy of about 12 years, and some can live up to 15 years, but almost never live beyond that. So yeah.
See? Indie is most likely still alive. We still aren't certain, but it's something, right?
I looked up how long the oldest dog lived, and the dog who holds the record for the longest life was an Australian cattle dog named Bluey. He lived from 7 June 1910, to 14 November 1939, for a total of 29 years and 5 months. So there is a chance that Indie could be alive
AAWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SOOOO SRRY DAWN.............. And wait Indie's 17?! We had to put my dog down at the age of 12. I hope she'll return to you someday...........
I'll draw a picture of a Husky tonight and add it to the post soon. I'm sorry if it'll suck cause that's most likely the exact thing it'll do.
