Don’t feel worried about getting glasses!! I have both glasses (i dont wear them much though...) and braces (got those on 2 weeks ago).

I’m literally a month late, but better late then never lol. I don’t have glasses, but my sister does. She looks gorgeous in them, and so will you Autumn! She confirms daily the complaints Echo and Flamefrost made, but she also loves her glasses.

OMG I have glasses. Ive had glasses sinse the 3rd grade. Dont be an idiot like me. I stoped wearing them for 2 years and claimed "my eyes got better." I got new ones this year (6th grade) and I only wear them when I need to see something. So just is case you are self-conscious, only wear them when needed. But also if you need them 24\7 just remember, you are beautiful no matter what.

oh i have glasses... when i got them tho i was the opposite of what you are feeling. i was well... ecstatic. but don’t be scared, just find the right pair that fits you! even though i never wear mine anymore lol

Also, your eyesight isn't probably as bad right now, so work on getting your perfect vision back. Do eye excercizes and look outside often. It might help! Don't look at screens as often, you know.

I've had glasses since third grade but if you don't have a prescription, make sure to go to an "eye doctor" and get it. If you want to get it online, ZenniOptical is cool! Also, no one usually makes fun of people wearing glasses! Also i advise to not get glasses you can see out the sides. Its blurry-ish.

I have never had to wear glasses, but I'm happy to hear that you'll be able to see much clearer with them.

I've had glasses since second grade... I think (can't remember exactly). I'm currently in eighth grade. I remember, the first time I put them on, I could see the pine needles on the trees across the street with perfect clarity.

Everything Echo said is correct, just so you know. Also, DO NOT WEAR THEM WHEN IT RAINS. You'll be cleaning them for an hour.

Buuut there’s hope! Well at least if you’re eighteen anyway. There’s this thing called laser eye surgery, you probably heard of it. My dad had glasses when he was my age too, and he got laser eye surgery. Now he only needs glasses to see things up close.

dont be scared! I wear glasses too. ive had them since year 3, and literally NO ONE has called my “four eyes” since then (I’m in Year seven now). If anyone makes fun of your glasses, either ignore them or stare at them while pushing your glasses up to your face with your middle finger.

oh, if you ever sleep with you glasses on, theres a 90% chance theyll fall off in your sleep. When you lay down with your glasses, they go all lopsided. If you ever try to drink a nice mug of tea, they’ll fog up.... AND YOU CAN SPEND TEN MINUTES CLEANING THE DARN THINGS AND THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOME RANDOM SMUDGE ON THE LENSES!
