So its basically about this girl named Amy who struggles with the loss of her mother (dies in first ep) after saving a black horse called Spartan by an abusive owner. She descovers she has a rare gift with horses that was passed down by her mother to her. When she talks to the horses, they listen to her (their ears literally cock forward and later in the show she's nicknamed "Miracle Girl"). She can cure dud horses that don't jump if they were baught to show jump, and things like that.
Interesting Side Stories (stories that also happen in the series):
Later, Amy's sister, Lou, gets married and adopts a child. She has another child and her husband and her divorce a while after that. After that Lou struggles to raise two children single-handedly.
Jack (Amy & Lou's grandpa) remarries a lovely woman called Lisa who moves to Paris (bye bye happy marraige).
Tim (The girls' father) was a "bad egg" from the start. He left the girls when they were 5, saying he would be back in "five minutes". He returned ten years later.
BONUS SPOILER
Amy marries a guy called Ty (whom she meets shortly after her mum's funeral... i think) and in the last season, she tells him a secret on the night of the Northern (or Sourthern... does it matter really?) Lights. She says, "Ty, your a father..."
I read a book (After the Storm) and it said Amy's mom died (it was the 2nd book, haven't read the first) so I know Amy, Lou, and Jack. (And of course Spartan) But I would really like to watch the series. But Amy gets married?!?! Really??
I CANT WAIT FOR UPCOMING SERIES (if the team can get their act together) also me fav character hmmm.... I like Phoenix the best. That's Georgie's (Lou & Peter's adopted daughter) jorse. He's white with a black mane and tail.
