JENNIFER LYNN ALVAREZ'S
Cinderfrost streched out her wings, and took to the air, searching for her friend Stoneheart,
She spotted him and landed, "Hi Stoneheart! Hows it going?" Cinderfrost asked
Stondheard shrugged his wings, "nothing
Riverblaze: Riverblaze fluttered on her short wings to the other yearlings. "Are you excited for the first day of flight school?"
Riverblaze: "I don't know."
( Can i join?)
Cinderfrost nudged Stoneheart with her wing, "hey wanna race to that hill?" Cinderfrost asked.
Stoneheart looked to the hill and flexed his wings, "sure, after three, one, two three, GO!"
Cinderfrost shot into the air, angling her wings, Stoneheart was ahead of her, for now.
Cinderfrost smirked to herself. Her small body made it easier to catch wind currents.
She angled her wings, caught a air current and hurtled past Stoneheart.
The hill was so close now, she tucked in her legs and sped up.
And a whoosh she landed gracefully on the top of the hill.
She heard Soneheart land behind her, obviously out of breath.
She turned around to face him grinning.
Riverblaze: Riverblaze looked around for her friend Everhope. At least she would be excited for flight school.
Stoneheart tucked in his wings and looked at Cinderfrost, "wow, you definitely are fast," he nickered.
Riverblaze: Riverblaze flew off, going to the site of the school. She was so excited to fly and show off her knowledge!
Riverblaze: She was so excited! This is what she was waiting for since she was weaned and able to fly through the clouds. She wanted to be a skyherder, and use her skills that come with having short wings good for precision work. She looked around for Pebblesong. They both wanted to do precision work. Pebblesong was amazing at spins.
Everhope was born different. she joined flight school to learn how to fly because she had un-even wings. She had one friend that helps her learn how to fly.
" Hi, i cant wait to be in the sky," she trotted over to her new friend, Riverblaze. " Down here!" she called her her friend.
Icefeather: "Okay, pegasi! Who is ready to learn how to fly?" She looked around and at all the different faces. "Are we missing anyone?"
Cinderfrost slapped her face with her wing and groaned, she looked over to Stoneheart.
He tilted his head, "what's wro- oh, we're late for flight school," he smiled and flexed his wings, "race ya!" Stoneheart said and then he took off.
It took Cinderfrost a few seconds to recognize what Stoneheart said.
She leaped to the sky, angling her wings and tucking her legs in to gain speed. Stoneheart was still several wing lengths ahead close to the class.
Cinderfrost flapped her wings to speed up, she passed Stoneheart just in time and landed.
"Sorry we're late," Cinderfrost nickered.
Icefeather: She is just about to start when a filly and colt land with a thump behind her. The filly quickly apologies and gets in line. Icefeather nods, "For today, I will let it slide, but just know that if anyone," sweeps her gaze over every pegasus. "is late, they could be left behind. Now, are we missing anyone else?"
"Wait for me!" she called out to her instructor. I angled my wings and flapped harder. eyes closed she was off the ground " I did it!" she called out to her classmates. She was so happy and followed the teacher slowly. Everhope flew over to her friend who was already off the ground.
Riverblaze: "Everhope, over here!" she called. She was glad she wasn't the only one with different wings. She and Everhope could maybe even become skyherders together. There was only one thing that was making this day anything less than perfect. Riverblaze had seen the fear in Willowfall's eyes. No pegasus should be scared of the sky! It was where they belonged! Riverblaze made a resolution to cure Willowfall of her fear before they turned two.
she flew over to Riverblaze, " Hey. I did it. I have a question to ask you? what do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a sky or sky hearder. what about you?"
Riverblaze: "Me too! This is great!" Riverblaze saw Icefeather staring at them with annoyance. "But we should probably chat later."
