Summary:
The fillies are returning to River Herd after Shrubnose arrived. (I wasn't on when it happened so I don't know the details). Aquatree and Winterbreeze were talking about their "lovers" and Aquatree started ranting and was in her "annoyed mood". Her wing started hurting.
Oh, and they are talking about about Star and Morningleaf, and how the pegasi don't... believe in them.

Aquatree:
She ignored the stallion, and swatted her tail, smacking his leg.
He flinched at the smacking, still carrying the filly aloft as he averted his gaze, adding another reason why he refuses to be a sire to any youth.
Inconsiderate and grudge-holding.
He flapped his amber wings as he noticed a small landmark, "Down there, we're close!" he nickered to the rescue party. Hawkfire would nod before leading the ground down in a descent, Shrubnose became uncharacteristically quiet.
YAYYYYY STILL ALIVE WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New part! https://www.theguardianherd.com/messageboard/herd-chat/faith-vs-rage-rp-part-5
Duskheart:
She tilted her head, "The cave?" She asked, "What cave?" She nickered.
Aquatree:
"Umm... ok." She flicked her ears nervously. "You can come to the cave with us, I guess." Aquatree looked at Winterbreeze for approval. She ignored Blackweb and Larkflight, swatting her tail.
Duskheart:
She shrugged, "I dunno...I just got bored." She nickered, flicking an ear.
Pinebranch:
"Oh, hello," Pinebranch nickered, flaring his nostrils.
Aquatree:
She turned, seeing Duskheart. "Duskheart," she whispered. "What are you doing here?"
Duskheart:
She smiled brightly, trotting over to Pinebranch and Aquatree, "Hi!" She nickered, smiling.
Pinebranch:
He nodded at Aquatree and glanced around. In the distance, he saw Winterbreeze's little sister, Duskheart. Pinebranch flicked his ears.
Duskheart:
She pawed the ground slightly, sniffing the air. Looking for something to do.
Waspwing:
He barred his teeth.
Aquatree:
She flared her nostrils. "Well, we should go. Come on, guys," she said to the Silver Herd stallions and Winterbreeze. She eyed Larkflight. "Please don't follow us."
Duskheart:
Trotting around bored, she looked around for something to do.
Duskheart:
She ruffled her feathers, feeling better already, 'I KNEW I was fine!' She thought, trotting away, wondering slightly where her father had gone, 'At least that means he won't take me to the Medicine Mare...' She thought again, flicking an ear absentmindedly.
What'd I miss??))
(Yep, I will soon! Probably after this class is finished)
Waspwing:
He spread his wings and hit a wolf in the eye, and one right in the neck.
Wolf:
She felt a weight land on her neck. She fell to the floor. The breath had been knocked out of her. She limped off. Her right back leg had been injured badly. A whimper of pain escaped her lips.
The pack realized their leader was hurt. Most of them ran to the powerful stallion, but some remained fighting the others.
Meanwhile, a young wolf dragged the unconscious mare away. She limped over to help him. (Stormsun, you'll have to make the next part soon.)
(hiya!)
With Waspwing's narrowed eyes and sharp vision did the over-stallion spot a smirk on the battlemare's features. She was looking back, watching as the gray wolf grew dizzy with the sporatic movement. With the sign of the jaws loosening on her flank did the female whip herself around, slamming the wolf's side into a nearby tree, hearing the yelp from the beast causing it to let go and flop to the ground to recover from the impact.
With a confident snort did the mare double back and charged at the other wolf who had it's eyes on her chestnut hide. In the heat of battle, the mare was concentrating, endulged, even transfixed, and judgemental looks sent her way fail to be acknowledged.
Waspwing:
"Frostwing-" He was cut off as a wolf leaped at Waspwing.
Waspwing whinnied and landed on his back. He kicked the wolf in the shoulder, drawing blood. But the wolf bit Waspwing's neck and Waspwing yelped. He scrambled quickly to his hooves and kicked the wolf in the belly, before looking at Shrubnose. He narrowed his eyes.
Hawkfire and Shrubnose hesitated in landing as they saw the over-stallion swooping down, a few seconds passed and they both descended. Hawkfire dived bombed one of the wolves in his sight, siezing the back of it's neck in his teeth as he allowed for his weight to topple the creature over.
Shrubnose landed and charged at a tawny looking variant within the pack, rapidly stomping her forehooves to try ansd trample this thing, noticing how it tucks it's tail to get out of her way. Skidding around did the female snort, flarring her nostrils before rearing up, waving her hooves about before seeing the wolf double back and jump at her. She flinched, almost panicked as she rapidly turned and sent a kick int the air, missing the canine as it lands just behind her before she trots around in a circle, seeing the dog bark and run off to the thicket. She paused for a moment, looking for another wolf to target before she felt the same wolf catching her off guard by biting at her left thigh of her hindquarters. She whinnied, before sporatically jumping about and bucking around to knock the intruder off.
With a good few strikes from her hooves landing on it's chest, legs, and underbelly did the canine fall off from her. Shrubnose snorts and allowed for her breath to swell into her lungs rather shakily. Two wolves were looking in her direction while Hawkfire was already being ruthless in terms of using the predator's tactics against it.
He bit at the wolf's throat while using his chest to keep the grey coated creature pinned on it's back, thrashing it's legs and paws about as he started to bite repeatedly on the throat, rapidly causing brusing in various areas while also pummeling the creature in the underbelly with his hooves, planning on stomping it's body until trauma takes over and kills it. Until then, he's wailing on this pack member as heartless fills his eyes, to Hawkfire, nothing deserved second chances if they weren't equine. The sound of gruntful whimpers, yelps, barks fail to reach it's ears everytime it pierced the orchestra of growling, braying, and biting.
Meanwhile, back at River Herd, the steeds seemed to be in unrest. Some mares and stallions looked around from where they were, Echofeather, a silver dappled mare with blond mane and tail, brown eyes, and a broken, marigold yellow wing peeked up from the crowd, wondering if she could spot Bronzecloud anywhere amongst the grazing lands.
Frostwing:
He snarled at the wolf going after Darkberry and landed on its neck. But while he was fighting this this wolf, he couldnโt protect Darkberry from the other wolves, and couldnโt stop her from being dragged away.
Wolf:
She felt the pack's fear at the stallion. Just then, another pegasus landed. She didn't even need to tell them to attack. The pack charged at him.
Meanwhile, she crept over to the unconscious mare to drag her away. (Morningmist, could you please let the wolf drag her away for a bit?)
Pinebranch:
He narrowed his eyes.
Larkflight:
And that is exactly my problem. She thought, looking at Aquatree and Moonheart.
She looked at them and thought where they mates?
Aquatree:
She nuzzled him gently, her muzzle just barely brushing against his.
Moonheart:
"Yeah," he muttered back. I hope....
Aquatree:
She slid to his side and brushed her wing against his. "You ok?" she whispered quietly, ignoring Larkflight.
Moonheart:
He waited, but the cold passed and he felt fine. He shook his head. It was probably nothing.
(uh oh)
Pinebranch:
He huffed softly. "What if you're all wrong, Larkflight? Because you are. And pretty soon you're going to regret everything you've ever said to me and Moonheart." That sounded like something Aquatree'd say.
Moonheart:
A strange ringing filled his ears and a strange cold shot through his chest. He froze, waiting. Was he sick?
Aquatree:
She glanced at Moonheart, her ears drooping.
She could see that look in his eyes.
But if you hadn't come... I never would've known that you liked... me. But what if you don't? What if that nuzzle was just... a friendly one? Boys are so complicated.
Pinebranch:
He flattened his ears.
Moonheart:
His front left hoof pawed nervously at the ground. I knew I shouldn't have come!
she saw Moonheart and setted down and went into a defensive posture but not a mean one
Moonheart:
He backed up, pulling his wings in and trying to look as non-threatening as possible.
Larkflight:
โIt is a possibility.โ She argued.
Pinebranch:
He barred his teeth. "Spies? Is that what you think?" He glanced at Winterbreeze. He hoped she remembered him being upset with Frostwing, he hoped she remembered him being sad when she left. He hoped she knew that he really cared, and that she wouldn't listen to Larkflight and Blackweb.
Larkflight:
โStill, I just donโt understand.โ She paced, shedding a few feathers, looking at Winterbreeze. โThey have been here for about half a day. Why would you even let Silver Herd pegasi stay on our land. For all we know, they could by spies for Frostwing!โ
Pinebranch:
"You think I don't know that? I know that Silver Herd and River Herd are in war, ok? I just think of Winterbreeze as a friend, not an enemy. If she doesn't think of me as the same, she would've said so," Pinebranch said quietly, glancing at Winterbreeze.
Larkflight:
โBecause you are an enemy steed!โ
Pinebranch:
"Why not?" Aquatree:
She shot Pinebranch a glance.
Larkflight:
โA friend!โ She nickered, surprised. โSo you just decided to visit her because you missed her?โ
(Was Pinebranch part of the group that captured them?)
(ack, now I gtg :(
Winterbreeze:
"I know, I just laugh in uncomfortable situations," She said
(ehehe)
Pinebranch:
"What, maybe because Silver Herd hates me? And because it's as boring as watching grass grow? Maybe because I thought of her as a friend, not enemy?" He eyed Larkflight. He didn't have to say it, but his eyes read: Unlike you.
(oof)
Aquatree:
She sucked in her breath.
Larkflight:
She whirled on Winterbreeze. โThis isnโt funny!โ
(I actually didn't have to go yet :)
Winterbreeze:
SHe snorted, trying not to laugh.
Larkflight:
She glared for a second at Aquatree, then looked back at Pinebranch. โWhether or not I was eavesdropping is not currently important. Why did you come to visit my sister?โ
Pinebranch:
He wasn't gonna give up and confess that easily. "How would you, even if that was true? What, because you..." he stepped closer. "Were spying?"
Aquatree:
"Oof, busted," she said under her breath.
Larkflight:
โIโve seen the dopey looks youโve given my sister.โ She walked closer to Pinebranch.
WInterbreeze:
SHe bit back a laugh.
(ack, gtg :(
(oh poo eheheeee)
Pinebranch:
He fluttered his feathers, startled. He looked at Larkflight but kept his mouth shut.
Aquatree:
She stiffened and looked at Winterbreeze. She was inwardly grinning.
(XDDDD)
WInterbreeze:
She shrugged at Pinebranch apologetically. "Sorry, but it's the truth." She said.
Larkflight:
โWhy did you come here?โ She glared at Pinebranch. โLove sick already?โ
Pinebranch:
He lowered his head. He was the one that caused this mess. His ears drooped.
WInterbreeze:
"I'm sorry, I was just confused yesterday after being captured. And we didn't ask them to come over here, Aquatree and I were just hanging out here and found them." She explained.
Aquatree:
She flattened her ears.
Pinebranch:
He shifted nervously on his hooves.
Larkflight:
โHow could you be with them?โ She pointed at Pinebranch and Moonheart. โYou were literally captured by Silver Herd!โ She bristled. โAnd yeah, thanks a lot for not coming to see me when you returned. Itโs nearly been a whole day since you got back! I was looking for you.โ
WInterbreeze:
"What are you talking about?" She asked, confused.
Aquatree:
She barred her teeth.
Pinebranch:
"W-we should go to that place of yours," he whispered to Aquatree and Winterbreeze, his ears flat.
Larkflight:
She sighed from her spot in the bushes. Of course Blackweb ran off. She got out from behind the shadows, revealing herself. She glared at Winterbreeze. โHow could you?!โ
She was plying and noticed that she was crazy so she flew back "first i'm close to foaling and second i am so sorry i've gotten scared about it
(Wow, I missed a lot. I canโt be on for another half hour, so just say that Larkflight has not revealed herself yet.)
Aquatree:
She shrugged. "Blackweb's got the waterworks. Maybe she's going crazy."
Winterbreeze:
Her ears flicked around. "What just happened?" She asked the others, extremely confused.
Aquatree:
She flattened her ears and glanced over at Larkflight. "Uh..."
(gtg)
Embarrassed she cantered away and took of and flew away
WInterbreeze:
"What?" She looked at Aquatree to see if she had any idea what the mare was talking about.
Moonheart:
He was so, so confused.
"no! If i'm going to be a mother of a foal with no sire I won't trust myself if I can't look out for older yearling about to be adolts!" she fell down and began to sob
(I know) WInterbreeze:
"Ok....." She said, not really seeing the big deal.
Aquatree:
She huffed. "Yeah! So go away! Quit spying!"
Winterbreeze:
Her ears flicked around. "We were just swimming," She said.
"Watch your mouth yearling" she said in a mad motherly tone
Aquatree:
"None of your business, you nosy fool!" She spat at Blackweb.
Blackwebs nostrils were flared in rage
Aquatree:
She puffed her wings in outrage.
Moonheart:
He flattened his ears. "You were spying on us?!"
"We have been following you me and larkflight met up when we where spying now spill"
WInterbreeze:
SHe jumped, surprised. "Oh," SHe said, relieved it was just her sister. "What do you mean?"
Blackweb was flared up she felt like she was going to explode "what do you think your doing?"
Moonheart:
He jumped and flared his wings.
Larkflight:
She stepped out out the shadows, her tail lashing, as she glared at Winterbreeze. โYou owe me a long explanation about what is happening here.โ
"Aquatree what are you doing?" She looked back at larkflight and waited for her to talk.
@Morningmist are we going to get going on the spying/confronting them? *not sounding needy*?
(Stormsun do you want the wolves to attack Waspwing?)
Waspwing:
He pricked his ears and flapped towards the direction of the call. He saw Frostwing's figure, along with the lean grey shapes of wolves. Waspwing touched down.
Frostwing:
He heard the echo of Waspwingโs call, and gave his own. He bared his teeth at the wolves.
The two battle steeds glanced towards eachother, their faces said it all, assuming the same thing in their minds. But they kept their jaws shut, listening to Waspwing's call again. Cowardice of Frostwing? Who knows what might be going on over here.
Waspwing:
He brayed again, the call of an over-stallion. Surely Frostwing would understand, wouldn't he?
"Understood!" the mare nodded rather sharply and Hawkfire gave a small grin, with a aggressive flap of their wings did they both propell themselves forward like hummingbirds to keep up with their over-stallion. All the while quietly scanning the populous of Silver Herd.
Wonder where that yearling and the stallion are...?
Waspwing:
He narrowed his eyes. "Whatever. But you mind your own business and don't ask questions." Waspwing puffed his wings, before whirling around again. He shot forward.
"A lone over-stallion visiting an enemy heard when in a time unrest? We rather not see you get ambushed and tossed back to River Herd, dead." Hawkfire retorted softly, both of them appearing to have concern in their eyes,
`"We're not here to be your enemies, we're here to support you in anything you do." Shrubnose added, keeping herself aloft. "So, two bodyguards would be a little safer, don't you think?"
Larkflight:
She followed Aquatree and the others. โIโm getting tired of just following them.โ She nickered to Blackweb. โHow about we confront them now?โ
Waspwing:
He braked and whirled around, barring his teeth. "Right on," he spat, looking at the River Herd steeds. "Though I don't remember letting anyone follow me," he hissed angrily.
Hawkfire let out a small bray towards Waspwing, announcing his and Shrubnose's presence as he slowly descends to elevation that the stallion was on. Shrubnose following suit as they tried to be as careful as possible with their flight. "Important buiseness to tend to, right?" the mare nickered at the over-stallion.
Aquatree:
She bobbed her head with the rhythm. She was used to walking, unlike most pegasi, who usually would fly. With a jerk of her head she realized she was the one who was slowing them down. She flattened her ears and started walking faster.
(gtg)
Moonheart:
He raised his head to look at the sky and increased his pace.
Aquatree:
She smiled and glanced over at Winterbreeze, before flicking her long tail, brushing it against Moonheart's leg.
Pinebranch:
He pricked his ears in surprise but kept going, folding his wings tightly on his back.
