    Coursera...

    in HERD CHAT

Ok, so I've been on Coursera before, and now I think it's time I did it again :) But... what should I do next? My options are... "The Equine Welfare and Management" from the UC Davis. Or "Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Veterinarian?" from The U of Edinburgh. What would you pick? :/

I know I'm a little late for this, but I think it would depend on what career you want to have. If you're leaning more towards being a vet, then I'd say go with what it takes to be a veterinarian, but if you're leaning more towards working with horses directly, you should do the equine welfare and management course

Sorry I haven't come back to this....... but that IS good advice there, Dragon! I think what I really want is to be able to rescue abused dogs and horses that haven't seen a clean bucket of water in mouths >:( To save and care for those who were NEVER loved! I guess what I'm saying is, I would love to be part of the ASPCA, and try to do my part to save as any as I can!

I'm all sad and stuff now....... Y-Y

@Autumnsky being part of the ASPCA is a great goal, but don't get wrapped up in PETA - they don't always get a full story before protesting it

I'm not entirely sure what Coursera is but Do you have what It takes to be a Veterinarian sounds like a good choice!

That's what I was thinking. I know a good place up the street from my house that I could go if I finish and pass the course. I feel like I could start getting some good experience there. :)
