Sign Up: Camp Realms
Welcome all to Camp Realms! At this lovely foundation, we base ourselves sincerely on the hopes of relaxation and plenty of opportunities to meet characters not found in their home realms or roleplays. In this experience, your characters will find themselves surrounded by people who will help them evolve in their home roleplays, as well as plenty of fantastic games and people who will help them grow, whether it’s in this roleplay or the next. We implore you to give this camp a chance, for it can help evolve your character’s personality and ways to motivate themselves and others without pain. This is one way to introduce popular characters to more cultures or roleplays, and to share horror stories and other memories of their actual roleplays. We hope you enjoy it!
Island Life
Campus Life here is simple. There are plenty of wonderful opportunities for all species, whether you are a Pegasus, human, Centaur, or something completely different. The wonderful camp is centered on an island, plenty of space to roam and explore, as well as to engage in surrounding wildlife. The nature on the island involves plenty of animal and plant species, and a mix of all sorts of weather themed areas. In the middle of this large island, is the mountain range, which splits the older characters from the younger characters. There are various sections of this large island, such as snow, sand, forest, mountain, and prairie. There are different events for each section, continue reading to find out.
As well the biomes surrounding both buildings, the buildings themselves are on flat landforms, and are set up like beautiful hotels and resorts. The large cabins are made of wood, and are set up on the beach, away from the forest biomes, although both are similar. In the beach half of the resort, it has simple gates surrounding the buildings, and a large water park behind the cabins . There are open plains with several wooden huts depicting the different activities, and different game courts for outdoor activities. In the forest biome, there is a separate cabin resort much like the beach resort, except it has more outdoor games and activities. They are spaced out in the trees, and are separate cabins large enough to hold 3 - 5 people. They are close to large gentle rivers, perfect for fresh water activities. The snow biome is perfect for snow activities, while the mountain is good for rock climbing. Though the mountain is used for rock climbing, it is also used as a divider for the two parts of the island. The other side of the mountain is where the adults get to relax. There is a similar base with the beach resort, though it has more adult activities. The adult’s resort has shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, a casino, spas, and a gym. Everything is similar to the children’s experience, except in the forest biome there are fresh water spas and areas to soak in the warm sun and cool water. In the mountain biome, there are hot springs, and a waterfall. In the snow biome, there are still similar activities, but more hot springs. (A lot of relaxation comes from my parents saying how much they want to relax XD). They also have plenty of beaches and a pool in the back of the resort. Though it may seem like we are trying to split up the adults and the kids, there is an area where the mountains are low enough to cross over, and there is an amusement park and a reunion building to talk and catch up with their friends and parents.
Beach Resort
The beach resort has eight separate buildings, each overlooking the beach in the front, and the pool/water park in the back. Each building can hold 3 - 5 people, and they are split into four cabins for girls, four for boys. In each of the cabins, there are bunk beds, closets full of board games, movies, and puzzles. Each cabin has a large bathroom with everything they need to be clean for the summer, such as shampoo, conditioner, body shampoo, lotion, hand sanitizer, and other needs for cleanliness. The soap is made from resources and oils from the island, and the towels and cloths are always warm and are soft, and in the womens’ bathrooms, there are more feminine items for them under the sink. There are safe compartments in their closets, and when they get to the cabins, each bed and room is made to reflect how each person feels and the things they like.
Beach + Waterpark Activities
The activities at the beach include snorkeling (including lessons for how to be safe while doing so), exploring the tide pools, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, kite-surfing, scuba diving, fishing, and normal swimming. The waterpark behind the cabins has five water slides to ride without a float, three with floats, and a wave pool. There are also two large structures, an octopus-like play area, and a pirate ship. The water slides without tubes lead into a semi-deep pool, with two diving boards and a high dive. There is also a eight foot rockwall to jump from, and small areas along the sides of the pool that are more shallow to just sit and relax. There are jellyfish like fairy lights in the shallow ends, and a circular hot tub raised higher than the pool. Though the waterpark and the beach are nice, there are also nice covered areas and cabanas to relax in. There are pool floats of various sizes for the pool and for swimming in the ocean, such as flamingoes, unicorns, dragons, and so much more. Since it only makes sense to take a break from water based activities, there is a snack bar, and drinks, and the cabana beds are perfect for relaxing.
Beach Stables
Since we can’t leave out our Pegasi friends, we’ve also included beach stables. They have both heaters and fans, and are basically very big bedrooms. There are fifteen stable rooms, and each is dedicated to their occupant. The stables are neat, and have plenty of sunlight (Or night) when the occupants want, the windows can open when you push them, and they rotate in or out. The doors slide, and a rope can be pulled open and closed. Everything in the stable is easy to use, and made to reflect the wild part of them.
Forest Biome Resort
The forest biome part of the resort, is where the kids go for several weeks a month, mainly to play in another environment. The rooms here are similar to the rooms in the beach resort, though they are farther away from other cabins, and have more assortments of games, puzzles, and movies. Though the difference here is the decoration. There are mosquito nets on the beds, and there are diffusers in the rooms to keep out unwanted insects and critters.
Forest Biome Activities
The activities in the forest are a mix of normal everyday activities, to breath taking risk taking fun. The activities they can do in the forest biome are scavenger hunts set up by councilors, collecting sticks, rocks, and leaves, building dens, wood art, animal tracking, hiking, wildlife tracking and spotting, and so much more. But as well as these small everyday things, there are also the fun planned trips, such as a three day camping trip in the wilderness, a woodland picnic, obstacle courses, and a manhunt game. And then there is the risk taking, fear conquering fun. There is ziplining, rope swinging, as well as walking a rope bridge in the trees.
Forest Stables
The forest stables are like the beach stables, except they have a choice. They can sleep in the stables like the beach, or they can have the Jungle Herd experience, and sleep in nests built by the Pegasi staff. Of course the camp cares about not getting diseases from mosquitoes, so above the nests, there are mosquito nets, as well as safe herbal remedies to keep away bugs. Like a safe bug spray.
Snow Biome
In the snow biome, it is a much more cold climate, cold enough to snow all year long. That, and it is managed by the retired characters who can control snow and temperatures.
Snow Biome Activities
In the snow, you can do both physical and mental activities in the cold and chilly ecosystem. For physical activities, you can ski, snowboard, sled, tube, cross country ski, ice skate, and just play in the snow! You can do the basic snow fun activities, as well as the more educational artistic activities, such as tie dying the snow, making a snow volcano, blowing frozen bubbles, creating colorful icicles, hunting for buried treasure, scavenger hunts, using glow sticks in the snow, and finally, building snow creatures and snow forts! Now isn’t this exciting? And if you just want to take a nice break, there is a small snack cabin and wonderful hot springs at the top of the snowy side of Mount Frost, the smallest of the mountain range.
The Plains
The plains are the area between the forest biome and the beach. They are acres and acres of land with open shelters for different activities, as well as courts for different games. This area is better used for large gatherings, and stations, as well as free time for the campers. There are several different stations, and just a little walk away is the amphitheater, where shows, bonfires, and gatherings take place. The amphitheater is dug out in the ground with plenty of space to move and sit around.
The Shelters
There are about 30 or more shelters in all, each dedicated to their certain activity. They are open areas with moveable picnic benches and tables, and depending on which shelter you are at, there are different decorations and shelves, as well as tubs to hold supplies. There are wind and rain protectors covering the cabins so nothing gets ruined, and signs labeling each shelter. The art shelters include one for painting and pastels, one for sculpting, one for arts and crafts, one for sketching, and one for animation and online arts. The learning shelters are for basic core learning such as algebra, geometry, biology, engineering, and chemistry to name a few, while the more club shelters are for things such as book clubs, gaming clubs, and movie clubs. There are also more interesting hobby type shelters, such as building things with mechanical parts, or wood carving, and anything else you can think of! The shelters are for you to learn and master things you enjoy, as well as to entertain your characters selves with more possibilities.
The Game Courts
The game courts are for ball games, such as football, soccer, volleyball, Gaga, baseball, kickball, basketball, and so many more. All the games are either the exact same, or changed up a bit so they can be played in the field, such as hockey.
The Amphitheater
The amphitheater is where all the fun celebrations are held. There is the annual talent show, the camp sing along once a week, performances by the drama and improv clubs (also their own shelters), and so many more fun things to do.
The Lunch Courtroom
The lunch courtroom is in the center of all four biomes, easy to access and get to, and a great place to interact with people, whether from the same roleplay, or your cabin and team mates. The Lunch Courtroom is open five times a day with large meals and snacks, but it’s open all day for drinks and small snacks too. It’s a great little place to hang out and have fun, with arcade games and a small lounge near the entrance, and a couple of more inside games to move around. If you just want to come in and grab a snack, the easy grab and go counter always has snacks except for breakfast, lunch, and dinner then it’s a full course meal. There is also a food pantry in the back, and each cabin has duties to help clean and set the table.
The Clubhouse
The clubhouse is the place where all the kids get to hang out and have fun. It’s also the meeting place where you meet your camp director, your councilor, your group, your cabin number, your cleaning schedule, and learn more about the foundation of Camp Realms. The clubhouse is also a place with arcade games, and a jungle gym to run around for a bit until it’s time to head to the beach resort.
Getting Settled In
This part is definitely one of the hardest parts to do, and involves the most paperwork. To get your characters settled in, they will each be assigned to a group. The groups are a mix of 6-10 kids, and the names are based off of The Guardian Herd characters. There are four groups as of right now, so the group names are Star, MorningLeaf, EchoFrost or BumbleWind. You also get your cabin, which is where you live with the girls or boys of our group. The cabin's mascots are based on animals, and sometimes the camps hold competitions between groups, or cabins. The mascots for the cabins are the elephant, the tiger, the crane, the owl, the bat, the whale, the manatee, and the frog. And of course, every cabin has a councilor in charge, someone who helps schedule events, and teaches the younger members about the camp. Finally, you get to meet the camp directors, played by me and Ray.
The Adult Side of the Mountain
On the other side of the mountain, is an absolute paradise, much like a fancy clean city. There are stores, spas, a gym, and so much more. The difference between the kids zone and the adult zone, is instead of cabins, there is a large hotel-like building. There is a totem pole in front of the hotel in the shape of the eight animals of the kids section. You can do almost everything on either side of the mountain, so you don’t have to miss out on anything.
Staff
The island is always in need of staff, whether it’s for one of the biomes, working the shops, or even just running a small shop, you can do anything! Though we do ask of you to make the staff here completely original, and only use them for this roleplay, unless you find it absolutely necessary to add them to your own. We understand that some characters find relaxation in their work, so if you get permission from the directors, they can continue to work in this roleplay too. You can also set up staff for anything you can think of, or you can make up a random character to help you with whatever stories you have. Also, councilors are a part of the staff, but unlike the other staff characters, these guys can be older, less used characters.
For the sign up, we ask you, to fill out these forms, strictly on what your character will be doing, and where they will be staying. There is also the sign up form for the staff, which is separate from the actual sign up.

Rules:
Absolutely no drama from your roleplays will be brought into this roleplay. If so desired, you can have small subplots, but NOBODY will be hurt on purpose.
Nothing inappropriate that goes against the rules, or breaks the message boards rules.
If a character is already in a romantic relationship, they are OFF LIMITS to other characters from other roleplays.
Since we currently do not have a lot of space for characters, the number of characters you can have for the resort as guests is 10, while the staff is unlimited.
Please do not have any LGTBQ characters, because there are people who aren’t comfortable with it, yet please still be respectful.
Please make sure before you add something big to the roleplay, to check that it is okay with both me and Ray.
We want this place to be a safe place for both members and characters, so please keep personal life out of this roleplay 🙂
Respect every members way of roleplaying, and don’t be upset if someone is moving faster or slower than you, but please no timeskips
Note that just because it’s in this roleplay, doesn’t mean it’s always the same for other roleplays. Just because this roleplay is gentle, doesn’t mean that the roleplay they came from are.
Have fun! No cursing, and no drama, thanks!
Epilogue
We hope you are excited for this new roleplay, we know we are! If you wish to add any more ideas to the roleplay to make it more fun and relaxing for your characters, let me and Ray know! We hope you enjoy it!
~Enjoy~
(Pictures and the map will be added later :)
I was looking through some of my old OCs, and are OCs who died in their original Role play allowed to go on vacation? It seems like it could be problematic, but there are so many who could join then...
And does anyone have a preference for any of these character to join?
Aiden Faith (Protal of Time)
Victoria Fletcher (Portal of Time)
I'm considering Aymen (DOTR)
Anyone else? I want to add more character here, but I'm having trouble deciding on who would fit :).
Maybe tomorrow I'll see who I want...
But an answer to my original question would be nice while I make up my mind :)
