Rasha stopped licking the bulb that had formed in her pelt to look at Thalia, her mother seemed worried or at least more than usual "Darling is something wrong? you need to get that knot out of your fur, if you sleep on it could make a pretty nasty wound." her mother looked out of the cave in trance again, like she was searching for something in the snowy hills outside, Rasha put her muzzle under the place where her fur was stuck together, Suddenly Thalia's ears moved faster like a stem in a storm "Rasha stay inside, do not say a mew." Her mother sped out of the cave, She followed light pawed, pretty sure her paws did not let out any sound, she stood at mouth of the cave looking down at the small path of hard black pebbles, were a shinny black giant was sitting, a orb of fright was forming in her belly, then a little hole was opened at the front of the giant, a tall pink thing was standing at the edge of the road smiling and pointing at Thalia,
Her mother snarled at the pink thing who had drawn something from with in the giants head, a long rod, Rasha looked at the seen horrified what was going to happen, then a loud clear sound that pierced her ears, when she had regained her self she just stared, her mother was tugged in the snow as if it was trying to eat her, with blood red teeth the snow dragged Thalia to the ground,
"MOTHER!" her scream carried on down to the pink creature that was dragging Rasha's mother to the end of the giant, were it ate her whole, now the tall creature turned towards her and took out a different rod, then a sharp pain hit her side and she fell.
“May I please go out and run around the forest?” Sunray asked.
“Yes, you may but don’t go out of our territory,” Brightheart replied
“Yay!!!” Sunray said as she rushed out of the cave, She was running through the forest watching the colors of green fly by, she suddenly stopped in her tracks as she heard a whinnying of a… horse??? Not just one horse but a few horses, but the sound wasn’t coming from the ground but it was coming from the sky, Sunray looked up and squinted trying to spot something through the dense canopy overhead, what she saw astounded her they were horses with wings?!?! She was so frightened and astonished that she couldn’t move.
Finally, she came to her senses and bolted back to her mother's cave,
“You came back fast, is anything wrong?” Bright heart asked.
“Th-there are wi-winged hor-horses, I saw them o-out in the s-sky,” Sunray panted
“I wondered what those were, I heard a nickering of a winged horse earlier but I thought I was just imaging things”
“Mother? Do you know what those things are?” Sunray asked.
“I’ve heard legends of them, and that they’re called Pegasi” Brightheart replied.
“Do you know any more about this legend?” Sunray asked?
“Well, I know that you Great-Great-Grand Queen, had a very rare gift, we do not have a name for this rare gift but it’s said that over gets this rare gift can communicate with pegasi, that is all I know of this legend, But if you see another Pegasus, you need to run they don’t like predators new their herds, ok Sunray?” Brightheart said.
“Yes Mother,” Sunray said and then drifted into a dreamful sleep.
