Holy pegasi!!!! We are already on 12!!!!! It feels like yesterday we were on 7!!!!!
Here ze last comment from 11.
Redmoon to Horizongold: She nodded and turned back to the breeding ground and left them to talk. She trotted up to one of the trees and put her wing on the skin or bark of the tree. She pulled her wing away when she felt prickley thorns slice through them and flapped her one wing to free her of blood. She then looked at the other trees a bit confused.
Let's DO DIS!!!!!!!!

( HERE )
Emberblaze noticed that Redmoon was in his group and his heart soared. He opened his wings, feeling her eyes on him. He wished he could walk over and talk to her, but, Cloudroot was about to give instructions.
(PLS SOMEONE BEEEE HERE!!!!!!!!!!)
(Anyone here!????)
(Made 13!!!!!!)
(AAGGH!!!! SRY!!! At a riding lesson!)
Magicpetal trotted over to Breezbell happy to see her friend. "Hello, Breezebell!" she nickered. She flapped her aqua wings and smiled. She wasn't the most skilled flier, but she always tried her best at anything she tried, and that is what was important to her. Magicpetal went from a long legged, skittish filly, to a sleek and slender, slightly muscular, determinded yearling and she was happy with the change, although she didn't feel any different. Horizongold led the group toward the pond, and Magicpetal was as excited as ever. Some of the yearlings glanced at her sideways and some snickered quietly, "I didn't know they let weanlings join flight school." a lage yearling stallion snickered quietly to the palomino. Magicpetal heard the remarks the foals said, but she just stuck her nose in the air, and pranced, showing off her brightly colored wings. Also letting her teasers see she wasn't afraid of them.
( River? )
Embermoon rasied her wing for the chatty ones and led them to a good spot. "Now, I want one of you at a time, to spin around in the air. Make sure to stay in place!" She instructed and pointed to a grey appoloosa filly and she nodded. She raised into the air and flew slow circles. She watched closely. If they could stay in place then would have an easier course, but she noticed one or two yearlings had trouble with that and told them to keep on doing that warm up while we watched.
Breezebell to self: She knew she had struggled with both but she didn't really care. She just wanted to have some fun and followed Horizongold, prancing with pride and enjoyment.
( ;c Oki bai )
Horizongold continued talking with Embermoon. "Right," he said. "So first we need to see how well you do it already. Everyone lift off, please." He watched them follow his instructions and nodded. "Now fly in a big circle around our heads and land back where you started." He watched them carefully as they did this. The majority of them, eight or nine of the fourteen, had one of the two skills mastered and was struggling with the other. The remaining five were Magicpetal, who was fairly skilled at both things, two Frost Herd yearlings, a flea-bitten gray filly and a brown pinto colt, also were capable of both things decently well, a weanling palomino colt from Valley Herd who stumbled severely when landing, and Breezebell. Breezebell, he noticed sadly, struggled with both skills. Her circle in the air looked more like an egg, and she also stumbled when landing. Horizongold frowned thoughtfully, filing away the information from what he had just seen. He also noted which of the students performed which task better. He nodded approvingly to all of them when they had landed. "Okay, we've seen what you can do," he said. "I will instruct those of you who struggle more with landing, and Embermoon can take the ones who need help turning." He made eye contact with the trainees, then pointed at six of them: Magicpetal, the palomino, the brown pinto, two gray appaloosas, and Breezebell, and said, "Come with me." He led them slightly away from Embermoon and the others to begin his instruction.
(gtg, sorry)
Embermoon nodded swiftly and dashed into the air quicker than lightning leaving a cloud of dust and flew to the group and nodded respect to Horiozongold. "Today you will be learning landing and turning technices and skills," She said loudly.
Redmoon to self: Oh man..... Emberblaze grew..... I didn't even notice! He looks so more mature and handsome now.... She had been put in the group with Emberblaze and wasn't sure why. She ahd landed and took off very well but she didn't know what they were getting at. Breezebell had gone to Embermoon's group and they were seperated. She waited to hear instructions from Oceangold.
Oceangold: "It's okay," she said when Embermoon arrived. "How about you go with Horizongold to do landing and turning?"
Redmoon had grown into her beauty and was one of the prettiest fillies in the herd but was quiet. She hadlanded with the flight school and had just stood still and glanced at Magicpetal and Emberblaze. She felt feelings for Emberblaze on that day he admitted his crush to her. She didn't have the courage to say anything about herself though and just stood tall and proud. Breezebell had grown also and was very loud and fun. She wasn't as beautiful as her twin but she was average. Redmoon had lifted off as silent as an owl and landed as graceful as a feather falling down from the sky. Her sister was fast and light and had easily passed her twin Redmoon.
Embermoon to flight school: She had forgotten what day it was and flew to Oceangold quickly and landed perfectly beside her. "Sorry I'm late," She said roughly.
( YESH SORRY FINALLY DONE READING :P )
(me too. Riverbreeze? U here?)
( here )
(can you make 13 soon, if not now?)
(gtg)
(Yeah that makes more sense)
Oceangold nodded to Magicpetal, noticing the determination in the yearling filly's face. Then she looked more closely and grinned. "Magicpetal, right? I'll be sure to put you in Horizongold's group today, since for some reason Embermoon isn't here." She winked knowingly, then raised her voice to address the whole group. She raised a wing and was pleased to see that they all quieted down this time. "For some reason Embermoon isn't available today, so Horizongold will be taking a group of you across the apple orchard to work on landings and turning. All of you have mastered the takeoff, obviously, but I noticed some of you need to work on those other things. I will keep the rest of you here to do a few more advanced things, since you are already good at turning and landing." She pointed her wing at ten yearling colts and three yearling fillies, plus Magicpetal, and gestured for them to head past the pond to work.
Magicpetal was the first to lift off and fly after the flight instuctor. Emberblaze glanced at Horizongold and tossed his head as if to say, "If you're gonna make a move, do it quick.". He lifted off, without doing anything else, and followed Magicpetal. He cruised next to her. "Oh man! Not the apple orchard! I have bad memories from here..." he said, recalling the wasps. Magicpetal nickered and glided swiftly down and landed in front of Cloudroot, Emberblaze landing next to her. Magicpetal pranced ,excited. Seconds later, all the other foals, landed and chattered excitedly, some bragging about flying experience, other complementing one another's wings. Magicpetal shook all the voices off and only focused on Oceangold, her eyes blazing.
(That's better! Sry about that)
(OOOOOOHHH!!! Sry! I was geting mixed around with names)
(NOW I have to go)
(Here for a few minutes, and Cloudroot is the medicine mare. Do you mean Oceangold, the flight instructor?)
(no, she only focused on Cloudroot because she was excited.)
(AWW!!!! Dang it!!!! I just got back.)
(gtg)
(Hello?)
( ok. And don't you mean Horizongold, not Cloudroot?)
(brb)
Horizongold noticed Magicpetal in the growing crowd and he smiled, wanting to start forward, but Oceangold was talking again.
"Flight school trainees!" she called. Many of them settled down and quieted, but a wingful were still chatty. She trained her gaze on one part of the crowd who were the noisiest. "First rule: When either Embermoon or I raise a wing, everyone pays attention and quiets down. Got it?" A general chorus of "yes" was the reply and she nodded, then continued. "Very well. Now that I see how many of you there are, I know that I will need assistance from some trusted assistants." A few of the students nickered at the pun, and she grinned at them. "So, my son Horizongold is with us and will be with us for a while. He is not a student, as my mate has trained him well already. Horizongold will be acting as our guard and demonstrating a few moves that we will be going over." She paused, making sure that they all heard her. "So let's go to the flying area!" She led the ensuing dash into the sky and flew them to the apple orchard.
Emberblaze was now awake and he cantered over to magicpetal who was trotting over to Oceangold. When he spotted Horizongold he nickered a greeting and flicked his ears forward, listening to Oceangold's instructions.
Magicpetal stood in the circle of yearlings and 2 year olds. She looked at each filly or colt and she realized that even though she'd grown she was still one of the smallest foals there, but that didn't bother her. She found a spot next to Emberblaze and shuffled her hooves, more excited than ever.
Silverflame heard Oceangold and trotted over to her. He had also grown a lot in the past year and noticed with surprise that he was about the same height as the instructor. He also noticed hat Horizongold, of course, was easily a full hand taller than his mother.
(Yes I am)
Oceangold: when the two of them got to the clearing, Oceangold called for the yearlings. "Flight school-aged pegasi!" she called to the clearing as a whole. "The first flight school lesson is today! Gather 'round!"
(It just got good!!!!)
(Flamefrost? U here?.....pls be here!!!!)
(wait, nvm, I had to upgrade the caracter post because the triplets weren't weanlings anymore)
Starsummer trotted up to Magicpetal. "Are you excited? I loved flight school when I was your age." she said, nuzzling her filly(wait, she's not really a filly anymore :0). Magicpetal lifted her head and smiled. "Yes. I am so excited. I'm excited to see Horizongold, especially, because he's been so busy with army training and all. It will be good to see him again." Starsummer nodded in agreement. Then she smirked playfully. "You know, Magicpetal, flight school was how I met your sire...maybe it's how you'll also get to know Horizongold." she said, nudging her and nodding toward Horizongold who was walking toward the flight school class. Magicpetal spotted him in a heartbeat. "Woah....he got bigger.....and more handsome...." she thought. She peeled her eyes away from the stallion and preened her feathers, hoping she looked bigger than she felt.
(Yea...gimme a second to read all of that!!!!)
(u here?)
(Why do we need to update the character post?)
Horizongold was having similar reflections while training in the united herd's army. When he had turned two, he had joined the army. His father, as co-commander of the army, pushed him hard, but Horizongold willingly accepted the challenges with determination. He was eager to please his father and quickly got the hang of fighting. Today, however, he was distracted. Today he would be going along as guard for his friends the yearlings in flight school.
Right on cue, Oceangold appeared in the large meadow that Dawn Herd had originally landed in, which was now being used as an army ground. Oceangold went up to Shadowfire and talked with him quietly. Horizongold knew what was coming, and sure enough, Shadowfire raised a wing to signify that the army steeds be quiet. "Horizongold!" he called. Horizongold trotted up to the hillock his parents were standing on. "Yes, sire?"
"You are relieved of your duties here for the next moon cycle," his father said. "I understand that you will be acting as a guard for the yearlings in flight school. Good luck, and you may go."
Horizongold nodded respectfully to his father and followed Oceangold out of the meadow, to the other steeds in flight school; his friends from several months ago. His heart quickened a bit at the thought. Since he had started the army, his time was mostly taken up by training. The opportunities to visit friends had been few and far between. It would be nice to talk with Emberblaze, Silverflame, and Magicpetal again. He could help Silverflame and Emberblaze with the troubles of young stallions and basically anything. He especially wanted to talk with Magicpetal. He had been starting to have more feelings for her but again, was too busy to discuss them. He looked forward to flight school to be able to do that.
(WOW that was long!)
(i still here)
(I'll need everyone to update the character post as well)
(Ya sure. And by now, Glacier herd already captured Ice herd and Frost herd they are training for Snow herd)
Magicpetal to herself: it was about a year leater. She had grown out of her shell a little and her wings had gotten bigger and stronger. Now, she could just as easily fly into the clouds as her brother and sister. She started to learn tricks with Horizongold and she started to feel some feelings for the stallion. It was the day flight school began and she could hardly contain her excitment. She had gotten up extra early to practice her landings and take off's. She fluttered down to the ground, her eyes casting over the sunset as it crept over the horizon. Her eyes trailed over her still-asleep brother. Emberblaze had grown much bigger. He was now almost as tall as his mother. His short foal mane grew longer and now layed half-way down his neck. He grew more mature and his voice got deeper, but yet calmer. She remembered the day he fufilled his promise and told Redmoon how he felt about her. He was so nervous you thought his wings were going to fall off his back with all the shedding of feathers he did. She still didn't know if Redmoon had the same feelings, but she often see's her looking at him. She rested her wings and prepared for the exciting day ahead.
Later that night, when his mate and colt were asleep, Shadowfire lay awake thinking about the wasps. He had made a plan based on his knowledge that wasps return to their hive to sleep at night, so he planned to take care of them at night, once and for all. He stood up from his kneeling sleep position and crept silently out of the clearing, walking toward the apple orchard. When he arrived in the orchard, he immediately saw the wasp nest. He also saw the lake, a bit past the tree with the wasp nest in it. He lifted off the ground and flew over to the wasp nest. He reared back midair to prepare for a kick. He aimed his hoof for the section of nest fastening it to the tree and struck. The wasp nest sailed away across the field, gradually losing altitude and landed about three winglengths away from the pond. Shadowfire followed it and landed next to it. He kicked it into the pond and watched it sink, held down by the weight of the drowning wasps. "Good riddance," he whispered, and flew back to the clearing. This time he settled down and slept.
(Can we go forward in time so the foals/weanlings are yearlings and Horizongold is 2? I want to start flight school.)
Horizongold: "NO NO NO NO . . . I will . . . NO NO NO NO. . . ."
Redmoon watched him and made a very annoyed face when he kept on saying NO. "Please stop......That's getting VERY annoying.... -.- " She snorted.
( back )
(Anyone here?)
Horizongold: "NO NO NO NO . . . ." -continues for like two hours- When he finished saying "NO" repeatedly, he went to find his father. He wanted to address the wasp issue. "Sire," he said when he caught up to him, "can we talk?"
"Sure," Shadowfire replied. "What about?"
"The apple orchard. There's a wasp nest in one of the trees and two of my friends were stung."
Shadowfire frowned. "That's a nuisance," he said. "I'll see what I can do."
Redmoon had an epression of knowledge. "Oh!!!!! Okay! I don't think I'll go yet" She said truthfully. Breezebell shook her head. "I'm dry," She said hopelessly.
Emberblaze: "Truth or dare!"
Redmoon to Emberblaze: "In what?" She asked.
Emberblaze just rememebered Cloudroot's words. "Oh, yeah!" lifts off swiftly and hovers over the heads of the foals. "Anyway, who wants to go first?"
( just finished reading.... :P )
Redmoon to Cloudroot: She nodded and glided out taking her advice and nudged Emberblaze. "She said more flying than walking silly!" She nickered.
Emberblaze trotted over to Magicpetal, Breezebell, and Horizongold who where standing together and chatting quietly. "So, what are we gonna do? Play truth or dare again?" he nickered.
Magicpetal: "NO!!!!" she screamed at him, remembering the dares she and Horizongold was given
(Yay!!!!!)
( FINALLY I'M BACK PHEW )
Emberblaze sighed in relief and trottted out of the cave, not remembering the "recommend flying" part of her words.
"Again, that's normal. It's supposed to feel like that." Cloudroot then addressed both of them. "Keep the bandages on for however long it takes for the numbness to go away, which should be roughly two days. I recommend flying more than walking, but it isn't mandatory. So you two can go."
Emberblaze: "Yes, the white root is taking the pain away, but it's kind of numb. I can still feel my lower leg, just on my flank in some places." he informed her
"That's normal," Cloudroot said. "Bee or wasp stings usually feel like that at first. Is the white root helping? Is your flank numb?"
Emberblaze looked at Cloudroot "I don't know. It's just whenever you pour water on them, it feels like my flank is on fire." he said, dropping his ears, realizing he was being a foal. "Toughen up. You're fine. It's just a few wasp stings." he said in his mind. He lifted his head and let Cloudroot continue, but this time he didn't flinch nor wince.
Cloudroot frowned at Emberblaze's flinching. "Why does it hurt?" she asked. "Those white roots should be numbing the sting."
Emberblaze winced as she poured water on his stings. He sucked in his breath as she wrapped the bandage around him. "Ack!" he grunted, flinching away from Cloudroot
Redmoon shifted her leg and lifted it and set it down. "Good as new!" She nickered with a smile upon her face.
( back )
When Cloudroot was done rinsing out the wasp stings, she took a few chunks of a white ball-thing that grew in the willow grove outside and crushed them. She put them in a leaf bandage and tied the bandage around the stings on Redmoon's leg. She repeated the whole process on Emberblaze.
Redmoon winced because, for one, it was on her bad leg, and, two, because it bruned when the water touched the stings on her bad leg.
(Okay, that makes more sense now)
Cloudroot smiled sympathetically when she saw Redmoon's anxious face and she guessed the reason for it. "I know," she said. "This must not be your favorite place, huh? Well, this shouldn't take that long. Just let me clean out where the stingers hit you, then I'll put on a little bandage." She reached out gently with her wings to touch the two stings. She had a small amount of cool water cupped in one wing and she poured it over one of the stings.
( Corrected :P )
( Woops I'll correct that.... )
(Wait what? She didn't get an injury while in the medicine mare cave.)
Redmoon gulped and hesitated before going on. The Medicine Cave scared her mroe than anything because of her injury she had gotten and had to stay there for a long time, but she stepped inside.
(Hello)
Cloudroot watched the sullen parade of foals as they came out of the forest from the direction she assumed was the apple orchard. She cocked her head curiously when she noticed their sad faces and the fact that they were all walking directly toward her. "What's up?" she asked, puzzled. "Did something bad happen?"
Horizongold nodded grimly. "Wasps," he said heavily. "They got Emberblaze and Redmoon."
"Oh! Well, come right in, you two," the pinto mare said, gesturing to Emberblaze and Redmoon.
( PLEASE ) ( NO ) ( BE ) ( GONE )
Redmoon thought about that and shrugged half nodded. "I guess...." She said tiredly. She cantered forward to Emberblaze and trotted to the front to lead the group. Breezebell took the rear also with Horizongold and walked with them.
(There)
Horizongold brought up the rear as the foals walked through the forest back to the medicine den.
(Yeah oops)
(What? I think you meant to put that on the RP chat.)
Emberblaze stopped for a second and turned his head to Redmoon, waiting her answer. Magicpetal trotted to his side. "You keep going to the den. If Redmoon wants to come, she'll be there soon, but for now, you go." she said, gently pushing him on the shoulder. He turned back forward again and winced as he kept walking. Magicpetal walked next to him, giving soothing words and encouraging him.
Horizongold winced empathetically. "I know it hurts," he said. "But it will hurt more if you leave it longer. Well, Redmoon? Do you want to go too?"
Emberblaze groaned. He didn't want another trip to see Cloudroot, but the wasp stings were getting sore and he didn't want to admitt it, but he felt nauseas from the poison. "Alright. Fine. I'll go." he said, weary. He opened his wings to fly, but his wings were still wet, so, he limped off toward the clearing, grunting if he put weight on his back legs.
( hi )
Horizongold: "I still think you should go see Cloudroot. Swelling on bee or wasp stings can really hurt and could cause infection. It's unlikely, but we should be certain it doesn't happen."
( gtg )
( Helol? )
Redmoon shrugged. "Depends," She said smiling. She trotted up to him and bathed in the sun also. "Why does the sun look so beautiful? Any ideas? EXSPECIALLY the sunsets..." She said, gazing at the sun but wincing of course. Breezebeel nickered but didn't say anything.
Emberblaze to everyone: as soon as Redmoon let go, he started to shake some more. He walked toward a sun patch so they sun could warm him up. He opened his wings and bathed in the sun's rays. 'So, what do we do now?" he said, getting a little warmer
Redmoon to others: She pulled away from him so Magicpetal could talk to him and just looks at the ground feeling concerned about what she had just did for Emberblaze.
Emberblaze looked down again and couldn't help but grin at her. Her warmth was starting to warm him up, but his wings were still wet and his tail dripped with water. Magicpetal burst out of the trees ,looking worried. Once she saw Emberblaze she galloped foward and wrapped her wings around him. "Emberblaze! Are you alright? You're freezing! You're coat is so cold!" she said, letting go of him and looked up at him, concerned.
Emberblaze to Magicpetal: he smiled and nuzzled his sister, "I'm fine. Thanks for wondering." he said, trying to stop shaking.
Redmoon shook her head, sitill having her wings wrapped around Emberblaze. "I'm fine. There's no stingers," She said, smiling at him to comfort him. It was that flirty but kind smile that would always reasure and mezmorize the stallions and the other pegasi.
Emberblaze to Redmoon: he suddenly became more concerned abut Redmoon than he was about himself. "Do you want to go see Cloudroot? I don't want your leg to get infected...again." he said, still shaking
Redmoon smiled worriedly and then looked to Horizongold. "Yeah, I'm fine also. I was only stung twice on my bad leg," She said, looking at her injured but not with pain, but with pride. "They'll heal....I think?" She said unsure.
( hERE )
Emberblaze to Horizongold and Redmoon: he was still shivering, but nodded "I got a few on my flank, but I'm okay, just cold." he said through chattering teeth. He looked down at Redmoon and it took all his strngth not to lower his head and nuzzle her. But, he just smiled thankfully at her.
Horizongold watched while hovering near the apple tree they had been playing at, next to the one with a wasp nest. "Wait!" he shouted urgently. "The water won't work, the wasps will follow you flying above the water!! BAD IDEA!" Then he saw the results, and was surprised to see that it worked. Flying over, he asked, "You two okay? How many stings?"
Redmoon galloped to Emberblaze and wrapped her wings around him to warm him. "You okay?" She looked with passion and helped him walk and warmed him with her body heat, so she stood next to him and wrapped her wings around him to warm him.
( back )
Emberblaze saw the lake coming up. He craned his neck to look behind him, the wasp's were right behind him, some even stinging him they were so close. He pinned his wings and dove into the lave, the frigid waters surrounding his body. Like he expected, the wasp's followed him into the water, drowning as soon as they hit the surface. He stayed underwater for a minete, letting the freezing waters numb the stings on his flank. Once he felt like his lungs were going to burst, he pattled to the shore and erupted out of the water, flinging his forelock out of his eyes and gasping for breath. He waded onto the shore ,letting his wings drag, and took a deep breath, starting to shiver because of the freezing temperature.
