Last comment from part 26-
Honeyfall:
Honeyfall was enraged when she heard a mare's voice telling her captor's to be gentle. At first she thought it must be Cherrycloud, but Honeyfall realized that it had to belong to a much younger steed. Not really caring about who the this other steed was, Honeyfall continued glaring at the ground.

(I'm going to make part 28 right now)
Mistcloud:
Mistcloud dipped her head to the over stallion, "I'm Mistcloud." she said, "I'm one of the council members of this herd. You are welcome in our territory for now, but we would like to discuss this further before any permeate descions are made."
(Mistcloud took Glaicer Herds whole army, minus the two dozen or so steeds needed for the yearling's training, so there are a lost more then 50 pegasi. Also the are no where near the rest of the herd because they are in the southern half of the territory)
Magicpetal:
She ripped her eyes from Red herd, and looked back to Horizongold. At his orders, she placed her stick in front of him and scampered into the dark woods.
Horizongold disnissed the matter of Red Herd with a flick of his ears. โPlace the circle here and get in your places,โ he said impatiently.
(Dragon??)
( There were about......? )
Moonstream looked up from the game She was teaching Pearlsong called sticks and pine cones. A few steeds were looking at her, but every other steed was looking at the sky. She turned her head upward as well There were about 50 steeds hovering above the Glacier Herd grazing field, and the Council along with most of the Glacier Herd army had gone to meet them. She recognized the over-sltallion of Red Herd, Hollywing leading the smaller group. She watched him intently.
Brightwing understood Hollywing and Robincloudโs decision well. In fact, he scolded himself for not thinking of doing the same for his Herd. He listened carefully to see how Mistcloud would react to this unique alliance.
Hollywing:
The old stallion dipped his head in respect and the other 18 pegasi dipped their heads in return. "I am Hollywing from Red Herd, here to report my answer for which herd I will join in the war," he said in a low tune loud enough so they could hear. He lifted his head and nodded to Robincloud, who stepped forward. "We would like to join Glacier Herd if there is a battle. If not, then we will go back home and continue our life," she answered in a kind, motherly voice. She was a mother, after all. Sparkcream, Robincloud's grand-filly, craned her neck to look at the glacier herd steeds. She still couldn't believe that if there was a war, she would be living in a cold, frosty land. She preferred Red Herd where it was very warm and constantly sunny, but she trusted her grand sire and grand dam. Goldenswirl, Sparkcream's best friend, craned her neck to see also.
Breezebell quickly set her stick into the neat circle. When she had set down, then she looked at Horizongold, waiting for him to say they could find their hiding spots.
Embermoon had gone with the council and many other steeds, including Coablaze and Elmshade. She wasn't sure if Mintcreek had come because the buckskin battle mare hadn't seen her friend for the day.
( I'm right here. Just got back from school ;-; )
(Where is Nightmist)
Meadowstorm, who had been assigned into Silverflameโs group, also eyed the new herd warily, but tried to stay focused on the medicine maresโ lesson. She also narrowed her eyes at a filly, maybe 20 moons old (one year and eight months), whom she didnโt recognize. She looked believably like a Cave Herd steed, blue roan coat and bright reddish-purple wings. However, Meadowstorm was unsettled by the fact that she didnโt know this steed, since she knew almost everyone in Cave Herd, and now most of the young steeds in Glacier Herd. The young grullo decided not to act on her suspicions at the moment, because she wanted to start off on a good wing with her army leaders and she suspected deserting to investigate a seemingly harmless steed would not please them.
Mistcloud:
Mistcloud twisted her ears towards Bronzewing to acknowledge him, but stayed facing the strange herd, waiting for someone to answer her question.
Silverflame:
Silverflame was concerned when he heard his mother order the army to form ranks, but was glad when the yearlings were told to say put. Whiteshadow and Tumbleroot had exchanged nervous looks, but they stayed silent.
Bronzewing walked forward together with his mate and the other council steeds. He narrowed his eyes and started to pin his ears, but stopped suddenly and pricked them. โThatโs Hollywing, so these steeds must be from Red Herd. They are one of the friendliest split-offs of Desert Herd, so I highly doubt theyโre here to fight. That said, I donโt know whether or not to trust them.โ He pitched his voice so that the Glacier Herd council could hear him, but not so loud that Hollywing could.
Horizongold watched Magicpetal as she struggled not to fidget, then followed her gaze and realized why the red roan was doing so. Horizongold came to the same realization that Bronzewing had, and realized that the approaching steeds wouldnโt be dangerous. โOkay!โ he said suddenly, drawing everyoneโs attention. โThe circle will be right here,โ he continued, motioning his wing to trace a circle on the ground in the clearing. โNow!โ
(A bay liver chestnut isn't a thing, I think you mean either dark bay or brown)
(Wispi, Mistcloud is bringing like every steed in Glaicer Herd, except of course the few hundred or so that are staying behind. That's a lot more the 50 pegasi, that's more like serval thousand. Also, Mistcloud has all intentions to attack if the 'mystery' herd turns out to be aggressive)
(So, wispi, I am excited to hear what you come up with for Brightsummer's 4th foal! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAA)
Magicpetal:
"I knew it!" she thought as she watched foreign steeds surge out of the trees. She counted a total of 50 steeds and knew that Mistcloud wouldn't attack. Her eyes crossed over the council steeds who were all standing guard with the army behind them.
Snowfrost:
Snowfrost and his patrol flew like mad back to the Glaicer Herd, reaching it well before the other herd reached the border. As soon as they landed, the gray stallion hurried off to report to Mistcloud, and left the other patrol members on standby. Snowfrost delivered his news, and almost as soon as he had finished, Mistcloud gave the order for all the avaible steeds to form ranks. And the army set off towards the southern border, leaving the pregnant mares, foals, walkers, yearlings, and army instructors under the protection of a small battalion of battle mares.
By the time the large army reached the border, the unidentified herd had crossed over, and were now proceeding on hoof. Mistcloud gave the command stand fast, and approached the intruding herd with a small group of steeds.
Jaggedwing:
Slightly confused by the buckskin mares request, he nodded, "Witch filly are you referring to?" he asked, but before the mare could answer, Jaggedwing heard Mistcloud calling the army to form ranks. "It appears we are needed elsewhere." he commented, "But I would be happy to answer your question later." Jaggedwing gave the buckskin a curt nod, and headed off to find his place among the ranks.
Mistcloud:
Mistcloud flew forward, followed by a small group of steeds that consisted of Moonwing, Brightwing, Starsummer, Jaggedwing, Briarcloud, Bronzewing, and Breezecloud. They landed a short distance in front of the intruding herd, and Mistcloud noted the fiery red color of the steeds, meaning that they were from one of the desert territories. "Who are you and what do you want?" demanded the dapple gray council mare.
Magicpetal:
She nodded and flexed her wings, ready. She paused and felt her stomach start to churn and her hooves feel the need to prance. "Something doesn't feel right...." she glanced towards the woods and squinted into the forest trying to see inside the dark bushes and trees. "Hmmm......." she continued peering the forest but ripped her eyes away as Horizongold was about to start the challenge, but set herself on high alert, twitching a every fly and her ears on a swivel.
Moonstream nodded thoughtfully. โOkay. Want to play? Ooo, maybe we could make a game so I can learn all the yearlingโs names in the whole herd,โ she said with well-practiced enthusiasm.
Embermoon:
She stoppped for a moment to glare at the filly and Pearlsong. When she looked away she caught Elmshade looking up at her. She continued flying, feeling uneasy about the day. First, she had noticed a filly that she had never seen before. Second, her crush had stared up in her direction. She snorted the thought away and continued flying over the herd, analyzing everything. She found nothing else was wrong, and she flew down to the ground and landed on all fours and into a trot. She cantered across the field, flicking her tail at flies. She slowed to a walk when she came up to Jaggedwing. "Jaggedwing? May I ask a quick question? About a filly?" she asked.
Hollywing: -Now Glacier Herd-
The big stallion pumped his wings harder as he an his small gruop of steeds crossed into Glacier Herd's border. They heard a warning call and began to look at each other questioingly when Robincloud silenced them. "They do not know if we are friend or foe. They are just taking precautions." she said before whsipering to Hollywing, "Shouldn't they know we are not attacking by our small numbers?" Hollywing narrowed his eyes. "They will know once we land," he answered. A few minutes later, the small group landed closer to Glacier Herd and continued forward in a walk.
Breezebell:
She brightened immediately at the challenge, and waited eagerly for Horizongold and or Oceangold to tell them they can place their sticks in the circle.
Pearlsong:
"Oh, that's just Embermoon." said Pearlsong, "She's Brightwing's sister."
Snowfrost:
Snowfrost glided through the sky, mere wingleingths away form Glaicer Herd's border. Sparrowfire had dispatch him, and a few other steeds to patrol the southern half of the territory, and so far everything had gone as planed.
The gray stallion flexed his wings, and noted that he could still feel the place where they had broken when he had saved Magicpetal form the microburst over a year ago. But despite the unsteady feeling it gave him to feel that spot, Snowfrost was glad to be flying again.
Suddenly, one of the members of the patrol sounded a warning, that brought Snowfrost out of his thoughts. Glancing around to try to locate the reason of the warning, the gray stallion spotted a dark shape, that resembled a migrating herd, moving directly towards Glaicer Herd's territory.
"We have to get back to the herd." ordered Snowfrost, as he redirected his flight path to veer further into their territory. He may not know rather or not the approaching herd was friend for foe, but they would have enough time to worn the herd if they stuck around to find out.
Moonstream had seen the mare the moment the buckskin had seen her. She kept eye contact with her for a moment, then she looked away, pretending she didnโt care, and asked, โPearlsong, whoโs that mare who just flew over us? Iโm trying to learn everyoneโs names.โ
Pearlsong:
The young buckskin filly noticed Embermoon staring at her and Moonstream, and so Pearlsong angled her ears towards the battle mare.
(*?โ not ?)
Gtg to bed
Horizongold led his group through the woods to a medium/large clearing and turned to face his twenty trainees. โI suppose itโs only fair to tell you what the sticks are for,โ he said, the grin evident in his voice. โAs I mentioned, this is a spy exercise. It will be a little bit like Hide and seek, but not really. The sticks will go on the ground in a circle, inside of which myself and Oceangold will be conversingJ. Your objective is toโ one at a timeโ hide in the forest and try to take a stick from the circle without being noticed by either of us. If we see or hear you, you will get only one more chance. Any questions?
Elmshade:
He was one of the captains for army training and he glanced overhead at Embermoon and he sighed gently, but not enough for anyone to notice. Ever since he met her, he felt something toward the mare. How she was so brave and protective of her nieces and nephew. Elmshade was very good at hiding his feelings, partly because he didn't know what the feelings were and secondly he didn't think that this fierce battle mare would ever have feelings toward him. He resumed his concentration on his gathering yearlings and tried to put Embermoon in the back of his mind.
( Sorry that was so long :( )
( XDD )
Breezebell turned her head to peer at Magicpetal, but quickly turned her head back, realizing she shouldn't move to much. But soon she was flinching like mad because she wasn't moving. Beads of sweat erupted on her tiny frame and her teeth started to chatter a bit.
Embermoon:
She flew over head the battle grounds, watching all the gathered steeds very closely. If somepegasus had been beside her and talking to her, she would have still been analysing everything whilst talking to the pegasus. But, she wasn't talked to very much on account of her personality. Her only real friends were Mintcreek, Elmshade, and Sparrowfire. But even they weren't always around. She didn't know, but she was actually very lonely on the inside and hollow. She sighed heavily when she saw that everything was going okay, until she spotted a filly with what looked like berry red feathers...... but they didn't look completely red. And Embermoon had never seen this yearling before, and it was her job for herself to know almost everyone. In fact, she had almost already gotten the names of most of the Cave Herd steeds down. Another of her friends from Cave Herd was Coablaze. She didn't know much about him. other than he was perfect for Mintcreek. As she examined the filly talking to Pearlsong, the over-stallion and lead-mares filly, she definitely felt something was wrong.
Hollywing -Red Herd-:
The stallion pumped his wings with ease as he and his small group of steeds and yearlings, including his grand-filly, towards Glacier Herd's territory. The small group had been traveling most of the day, for about 4 hours, and was nearing Glacier Herd. They had about 30 more minutes until they reached the border and crossed into the territory. His group of steeds consisted of 15 to 18 steeds at the most.
(?? ok)
Goldenstream:
She looked around, confused, but she followed orders.
Tumbleroot:
Tumbleroot had been slightly confused when Dappleroot had put her and Whiteshadow in charge of teaching Dawnfire's group of yearlings the basics of healing. First, because the dull chestnut mare was least experienced off the medicine mares, and second because this wasn't something that battle mares and under-stallions were taught.
But Tumbleroot went along with it, and soon, both she and Whiteshadow were standing back and letting the yearlings try out their new found knowledge out on eachother
Magicpetal:
She puffed out her chest but remained in position and remained vigilant.
Horizongold processed this information, not reacting to his motherโs attempt to lure him into conversation about his crush on the red roan. He nodded slowly. โThey did well,โ he said. โNot as well as Iโd hoped, but well.โ
Breezebell blinked when Oceangold gave the death blow, but it wasn't an exact flinch. It was more of a 'need to blink' situation.
Juniersky was totally caught off guard by what happened next. Without batting an eye, Oceangold delivered a deathblowโ a hoof width away from the right end of Juniperskyโs stick. The broken piece spun away. Junipersky flattened her ears a bit, but she was more baffled than surprised. Oceangold nodded approvingly and moved on to Shadowstar, who did flinch. Oceangold continued following her sonโs instructions throughout the group of trainees, then reported back to Horizongold. โEight of the trainees whose sticks I kicked did flinch. Seven did not. Of the remaining five with shorter sticks, four flinched while watching. One remained stoic.โ She added with a sly grin, โThat one steed was Magicpetal.โ
Pearlsong:
"Okay, that's good." said Pearlsong, relieved. "I hope you end up some where exciding!"
Magicpetal:
She found a good sized stick and followed Horizongold. She noticed that he had talked to Oceangold about something, and stood her guard.
Moonstream shrugged again. โYes, I suppose,โ she said truthfully, but not referring to battle training.
Ryefeather:
As soon as dawn had broken, Ryefeather headed out to the army training grounds with the other yearling. The assessment was over pretty quickly, and then Ryefeather was assigned to a traning group for spies.
Pearlsong:
"Oh." said Pearlsong, "But you've already completed your assessment, right?"
Moonstream shrugged, completely casual with no flaw. โThey didnโt assign a few of us to our group yet.โ She motioned to a few scattered yearlings she had observed from the forest. โI just wanted to see if you wanted to do something.โ
Silverflame:
Silverflame and the others in his group were led to the medicine mare den, and watched Whiteshadow and Tumbleroot demonstrate how to dress wounds that need treatment sooner then then it would take to get a medicine mare to them.
Breezebell had followed with the group, stick still in mouth. She perked her ears at Oceangold going over to Junipersky.
(Gtg)
Junipersky saw them talking and expected something was about to happen. Her suspicions were proven when Oceangold made a beeline for her. Junipersky knew this would be a test, so she steeled herself.
Horizongold watched with a stoic face as his trainees gathered their sticks. โAll right, follow me. Keep the sticks in your mouths,โ he said when everyone was in earshot. With that, he turned and walked toward the forest. Oceabgpld walked alongside him and he whispered, โGo back along them and give a deathblow to break off any sticks longer than one of Dusksplashโs wings. If the one holding the stick flinches, frown disapprovingly.โ
Oceangold smothered a nicker and went back to follow Horizongoldโs instructions..
(Yeah)
Pearlsong:
Pearlsong excitedly looked around at that sound of Moonstream's voice. When she spotted her friend, she bounded over to her, "Hi Moonstream!" Pearlong exclaimed, but her enthusiasm changed to worry when she realized that all of the other yearlings were in the training area. "Why are you here?"
( Moonstream is REALLy gonna hurt Pearlsong someday...... )
Near the end of the story, Moonstream looked up at the sun and saw that training was almost over for Glacier Herd. โI have to get going. Iโll tell you if I learn anything actually worthwhile from today!โ She said as she took off into the air. She flew until she reached Glacier Herdโs border, then landed and walked the rest of the way. When She was in the forest right outside Glacier Herdโs main grazing area, she dyed her wing red with the same berries from the day before and trotted out of the forest to find Pearlsong nearby. โHello!โ She called over.
( Hmm...... I guess you are some what right.................................. eh.
Red: THANK YOU WISPI!!!!!
Forestbeam: -.- Why are ya'll discussing my love life?
Me and all of my OCs on here:.......... x crickets x.......
Forestbeam: That's what I thought x throws head up and trots away x
????? XD )
Gingerblaze:
Gingerblaze listened to her friend's story, and knew she was leaving something out, but decided that if Moonstream wasn't willing to talking about it, then it wasn't worth pressing her
Moonstream arose the next morning and waited patiently for the time battle training in Glacier Herd was supposed to be over. While she waited, she rather reluctantly told Gingerblaze about Pearlsong and what sheโd learned while playing with her, conveniently โforgettingโ to mention Shadowstar.
(Okay. One: Forestbeam can NOT fall in love again. It would feel so wrong!
Two: Iโll definitely put that under consideration Flamefrost. And whatever I decide, tell your mom that description is super cool.
Three: Riverbreeze, great minds think alike. I agree with everything you just said, minus the description part which Iโm still considering. So yes to it being a colt)
( Hmm........ Idk......... Lemme me see what Re-
Redmoon: NO!!! >:I
Me: :I Yeah I'm not listening to you Red.
XD )
(That foal idea does sound super cute Flamefrost, and also, Nightmist, maybe you could come up with some one [or some one else, it doesn't matter] a stallion that Forestbeam can fall in love with)
(The bay roan pinto sounds SUPER cute!)
(I was literally just thinking about that!!! I was like "Yeah...i think its about time Starsummer and Brightwing had another foal)
(Yeah!! He sounds super cute! Wispi, it's your character what do you think?)
(YES!!!! WISPI!!! I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THAT!!!!! You can have the foal if you want it, cuz I have 3. I think it should be a colt cuz Emberblaze is lonely)
( That sounds adorable!! And, YAY!!!! BRIGHTSUMMER FOAL 4!!! Sadly, Forestbeam can have no more foals without Crimsonstorm lol. COME ON PEEPS. MORE SHIPS MUST COME TRUE!!!! XD )
(YESS!! If you donโt mind, I asked my mom what foal 4 should look like and this is what she came up with. You can use it or ignore it:
NoName (Right now...)
bay roan pinto colt
Either a dark head with an irregular stripe OR a white head with a โmedicine hatโ
(Hey Riverbreeze, I think itโs about time Brightwing and Starsummer have another foalwhick I would really like to play if thatโs alright with you so I can be more involved with the Glacier Herd foals, yearlings, and 2-year-olds.)
Breezebell nodded stiffly and began to look around for a big stick. She found a dark shaded piece of stick that was pretty big under a thick branched and trunked tree. She picked it up in her teeth and trotted back into her position and watched the others gather their sticks.
โToday we will be getting more serious about spy practice,โ Horizongold said. โFirst, everyone needs to gather a large stick. I will explain why when you have all done so.โ
( I commented on a lot of the other RPs btw )
Breezebell let one glance at Magicpetal, since she had unfurled her wings. Breezebell clamped her wings tighter, feeling nervous on what to do.
Emberblaze:
He nodded in confirmation and flew over to his battle leader.
Magicpetal:
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the smallest smile Horizongold sent her. She stuffed her feelings inside and set her gaze straight. She lifted her head and planted her feet in the ground, how Emberblaze often does. She unfurled her wings and flicked her ears forward, awaiting his instructions.
Breezebell stood as tall as she could without falling over and held her breath as Horizongold walked up.
Redmoon sighed, got into her flight, and set to work.
Horizongold came up behind them. "Ridiculous, funny, hilarious, and frivolous, are the words that come to mind," he said sarcastically, his voice cutting like a whip. "Now isn't the time for socializing. Get into your flights and get to work!" He passed the two of them without waiting for a reply and faced his own flight, which had stayed in formation as they waited for him. He nodded approvingly and sent Magicpetal a tiny smile, the only amount of emotion he let himself show for her. Oceangold smiled at her son.
Redmoon sighed. "ONly proving my point more, and more, and more, and more..." she nickered.
Emberblaze: ย
He stuck out his tongue at no one in particular.
( XD )
Redmoon rolled her eyes. "Okay silly is an understatement," she nickered. "But I don't know enough words that mean silly to describe your silliness," she snorted.
Emberblaze:
He nuzzled her and nickered. "Why thank you, milady." he said, bowing down on his knees, then rising a few seconds later.
(I did now, but I was at church when she posted it)
Redmoon rolled her eyes. "Well, in case you DIDN'T know, you're VERY silly," she nickered. She raised her head so she could nuzzle him, because he had grown much taller.
Emberblaze: "I had some what of an idea..." he chuckled, and he smiled at her
( lol River )
Redmoon laughed. "You're silly. Did you know that?" Redmoon asked teasingly.
(Dragon, did you see that Dawn made the Green Mountains RP prt 1???!?!!!!)
Emberblaze:
He arched his neck and puffed out his chest. "Never fear! The Ember is here!" he said in a deep heroic voice
Mistcloud:
"Yes."
Redmoon shrugged. "I don't know. You're some super hero namedThe Ember," she laughed.
โAha. I didnโt think of that. But can we agree that Breezebell is only getting one more chance?โ Skywing replied.
Mistcloud:
Mistcloud dismissed Breezebell, hoping that they had come to an understanding. The council mare then turned to Skywing, "I know loosing one yearling wont really affect the other yearlings, but I think that if they see one go, more will follow."
(I am)
(ANYONE HERE??!!)
Emberblaze:
He nodded. "Yeah. How do you think I got there so quick?" he asked, smiling to himself
Remoon couldn't help but grin back. "Well, I guess I can't argue with that..." Redmoon sighed. "But you were in the same woods I was?" she asked.
(gtg)
Emberblaze:
"Thanks Redmoon. It wasn't your fault either. I was in the same woods you were. It was just an accident that the wolves found you instead of me." he said, smiling down at her
Redmoon rolled her eyes. "As if one colt could take down a pack of wolves without dying himself. It. Was. Not. Your. Fault," she said slowly.
Emberblaze:
He glanced down at her. "Well...I could've at least stopped the wolves which would've stopped the heart attack..."
Redmoon stared at him with wide eyes. "You're kidding me, right? I was the reason we all got sucked into that mess. And, he died from a heart attack, not from the wolves. It just trigured the attack. You had no involvement in that," she said, putting her wing over his back comfortingly.
Emberblaze:ย
He sighed. "I'm sorry I couldn't save him..." he said, drooping his ears
Redmoon caught Emberblaze glancing at her father's grave and sighed. "Yeah. I miss him too. Mainly because I thought I'd never live without him, and now I am living without him," she snorted.
Emberblaze:ย
He nodded and glanced at the direction of Crimsomstrom's grave. He promised himself that after army training he would pay a visit to him.
Redmoon nodded thoughtfully. "At least you get to see him from time to time. Boy what I would give to see my father from time to time," she nickered.
Emberblaze:
He smiled at the mention of his father. "Yeah...he came back, so it was good to see him again. My mother was certainly happy about it and no not really..." he said, relaxing his wings
